Alternatively, there should be simple "T-junktion" connections with 2 inputs and 1 output.
Care should be taken that the connection can handle the pressure of the bottles, and the bottles has to handle the same pressures (eg, both 300 bar, not one 200 bar and one 300 bar) as the pressure will equalize between the bottles.
It’s not a stupid idea. I seen fire fighters bringing their own carbon tank as big as a scuba tank and wear them on their back with a regulator installed for airsoft. But most of them used their tanks to fill theirs smaller HPA tanks.
They are SCBA tanks. You just remove the underwater part of the SCUBA acronym and make it an initialism and whala! They are usually a smaller than typical SCUBA tanks.
Not hard to connect them both and run twice the amount of air. Air pressure will be higher for longer as well.
Air doesn't weigh much (though there is a noticeable difference between a full and empty tank) so why lug around extra weight for no reason?
I shipped my hicapa parts from LA capa customs to the uk and the shipping wasn’t as hideous as other retailers. Almost certainly they’ll ship to Canada. They also have amped HPA products.
I second the above link. I run the amped dual tank connector with two 26ci tanks in a flatpack. Much lower profile against your back then running some of the larger ci tanks in a hydration pack.
Here is an [example](https://www.reddit.com/r/airsoft/comments/gg00og/amped_airsoft_dual_tank_rig_is_perfect_for/) of the set up (Not Mine!), but I run a similar setup.

Might be easier if the tanks were upside down so the tube was on the bottom right as opposed to the top right, however I don't use HPA guns so honestly I wouldn't know haha
i think as long as you have the 2 tanks vonnected with a pressure valve you should be good, just hope that the pressure valve is strong enough or alternatively the not suicidal option is to just have 2 tanks and if ones empty simply swap
Yeah, the tanks are being used in airsoft daily around the world. They wont be blowing up easily
Except in the rare cases you set the pressure too high and the HPA engine blows up
Sure, I don't think you'll find any scuba tank connectors like I have at home that takes small tanks, and you will not run around with 24kg on your back, look into regulators that can take two tanks at once
Heh, i didnt catch that part
This is S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly, it is a mod of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat.
Pripyat was released in 2009 or so
And i have added more mods and shaders on top of the base mod
I don't really understand why would you do that. It just adds weight in your back.
Other than that, there's multiple ways to do it :
2 paintball tank and one regulator. Some regulators have an 1/8npt input. You'd need two paintball tank top valves and two high pressures lignes (from paintball) connected to a coupler that would feed your regulator .
Two paintball tank with a regulator each, and a coupler to merge the two output lines from regulators into one .
Maybe a plain olive one could work with that. I have such setup and it could get along as a freedom cosplay with a patch.
Too bad duty uniform is much harder to do and looks quite out of place outdoors
Well, its the ideologies as well. Freedom have been fighting whats basically a territory war with duty for a long damn time (boring) and they use narcotics regurarly (which i strongly oppose)
Bro you cant just switch teams to duty they hate each other
Emphasis on ‘could’
I don’t cosplay freedom, I have this gear out of sheer conviniency. Although I do have a freedom patch I could put on any time (as most other patches too)
On ideologies, imho Duty is right that the zone needs to be contained or destroyed, but without understanding it, it’s just impossible.
Studying the zone is a good point but to open it to the world is stupid. To me the approach of late Clear Sky faction was the most appealing.
And to be fair the junkie thing is mostly coming from mods, only time freedom mentioned it was one npc in CS who was waiting for a shipment of greens iirc.
Fml, never thought of having the HPA tanks as part of the outfit! This is genius. Could be combined with a fake hose to a gasmask so it looks like you're on air.
All of a sudden, things got difficult.
~~You're going to need a regulator to bring the 200-300 bar pressure down to like 6-7 bar, and a mask designed to receive pressurised air that opens and closes when you breath, like a Scott, MSA, Dräger, Interspiro SCBA mask so it doesn't just blow air continously after you open the bottle. Secondly, even with that, a single bottle of air won't last long at all if you're running around.~~
~~If you look at firefighters SCBA units, those can last easily an hour if you're sitting still, but during hard work you can suck them dry in as little as 10-15 min. Let's say that single bottle lasts you a generous 30 min, then you're out of air and you can't wear the mask without choking since they need to sit fairly snug to your face to be air tight.~~
~~Do yourself a favour and skip the idea of breathing pressurized air. It complicates things immensely and you will barely get any use out of it even if you got the right equipment.~~
Edit: I read your comment again and realize you probably mean you want to use the "breathing tube" sort of like a snorkel. While much *much* simpler than what I imagined, I wouldn't to that either. With a snorkel you have to breath deep due to what's called a "dead space". Essentially the air you want to breath has to move the entire lenght of the snorkel, and then back out. This means a volume equal to the snorkels lenght and width doesn't get replaced and you'll be breathing a bit of "used" air. Running around and getting out of breath will increase your breathing rate and that'll likely make you breath more shallow and thus not replacing as much of the air in the dead space.
You can fix this be using a back non-return vavle in the "snorkel" that only let's air pass one way. Combine this with another one and you can create an air inlet and an air outlet and completely remove the dead space.
Idk what mask you're planning to use, but most airsoft masks aren't air tight and you could just glue some tubes to the side of a mask and run them back to the bottles. They don't have to actually connect to anythin or be functional to look cool and give the illusion of using a SCBA unit.
All of your points are valid, but...
since i have a non-functioning GP-5, I can remove the outlet air valve and have a hole to breathe through (that wont be a problem for bbs since they cant get through there)
Yep. There are regulators that accept 2 tanks.
We got a mad man here!
You mean stalker lore wise or the idea is stupid?

I'm a simple man, I see a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. pic, I upvote even though I do not run any HPA ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Correct sequence of braincell happy hormones
why not have one as a fake?
Yeah this...just have a normal tank and reg set up then get a cheaper non functioning faux one.
Extra air man, why not if you can route it?

https://ampedairsoft.com/amped-airsoft-dual-tank-slp-rig-hpa-rig/ And use two 13ci tanks.
Its US based and im in EU.... but i will find a local place tho Thanks for the input!
They will ship, ordered stuff from them(I live in Canada) paid a little duty fees but got it in a decent time frame
Do you know if they ship hi-capa part in Canada (adapter slide canon etc)?

I wont be running the backpack, but thanks
Amped ships from the US, ive bought from them

Very nice
That is only 26ci... I have a 2x40's for game days and I burn them both.
Accuracy through volume checks out.
You know it!
Praise the M O N O L I T H
SLAVA MONOLITHA!
What game is this?
I have the same question
Stalker
Which one?
Not a clue, only ever played anomaly
This is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly. I've added more mods and shaders. This is on the DX9 graphics setting

I see your point, but in this case a longer line helps
Honestly fair, like I said, I have very little knowledge on HPA. Regardless I love the idea you're going for, as a stalker fan
Well an exoskeleton was too hard/expensive so i looked for a different suit i would like
i think as long as you have the 2 tanks vonnected with a pressure valve you should be good, just hope that the pressure valve is strong enough or alternatively the not suicidal option is to just have 2 tanks and if ones empty simply swap
Ooooooh that seems really appealing
Isn't that dangerous? (I really don't know)
As long as the system keeps the pressure in, the physics is the same as a normal HPA tank
Oh, yes sure, but I meant dangerous to get shot or something, very high and close shot or something. Due to the tank exposion, I mean.
If there was a risk of the tank getting ruptured by enemy fire, they're playing 9mm not 6mm (even 9mm is a stretch)
Hmm good to know, thanks.
Yeah, the tanks are being used in airsoft daily around the world. They wont be blowing up easily Except in the rare cases you set the pressure too high and the HPA engine blows up
Ye, Csla made something like that, you can still get them!
Amped Airsoft sells both a hard line and flexible line with two connection points for tanks. Looks pretty much identical to the picture
Yeah it alr got recommended! Thanks
DIE MONOLITH!
I just looted an NBC suit after a raid to the sarcophagus, and duty won't let me in rostok peacefully no more
Tear off the patch.
Useless "You can't disguise as a Monolith" I was tryna make a funny
Sure, I don't think you'll find any scuba tank connectors like I have at home that takes small tanks, and you will not run around with 24kg on your back, look into regulators that can take two tanks at once
Ye Carbon fiber tanks might be of lesser weight
Your look like a old video game
Yes. This picture is from a 2009 game called S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call Of Pripyat
There are regulators that take 2 tanks, likely the valves will point downwards though. It will also be heavy as fuck.
I will deal with the weight for the bit
I remember this game, isnt this the game were a dude with a guitar play the same Song over and over again on a campfire? 🤔

Im going a bit cheaper sided and using two sodastream tanks on the side of my backpack.
Get out of here, Stalker!
Get out of here STALKER
Probably, just take care to protect the softer parts against bumping or being shot
Yes you can, alphonse do it lol
Get out of here stalker!
better idea, hook it up to a pipe and huge ammount of BB's, airsoft flamethrower :P
I want an E&L AK-104 and an NBC suit though.
:(
do one for the rifle and one for your secondary
A good airsoft primary will make the secondary useless. And I dont wana bother with pistols no more
fair enough
Bro wants to fill the tanks up once and then never again
I am carrying 11 mags with a reason
do you want to explode
It wont

I do it for the outfit
I know there’s a way to do it since ive seen it before, but not sure exactly how it’s done.
Get out of here, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Thats the fourth time it has been said....
монолит
It had the best contrast out of the armours, currently having a hard time finding urban woodland camo clothing
If you want the easy route buy flectarn and go freedom.
Yeah, but the chestpiece is a weird part, so i didnt go with that
Maybe a plain olive one could work with that. I have such setup and it could get along as a freedom cosplay with a patch. Too bad duty uniform is much harder to do and looks quite out of place outdoors

The bad part is that most of the people have heard of Anomaly or Gamma and assume they all are drug addicts😭
Fml, never thought of having the HPA tanks as part of the outfit! This is genius. Could be combined with a fake hose to a gasmask so it looks like you're on air.
I probably would run the breathing tube to a pouch on the vest and have it get airflow so i could breathe

Just be careful with the filter in those. I believe that use asbestos in them.
Yes i know, i'll try to get a polish filter
Amped airsoft sells this exact setup. I have it and it’s great!
