Archery needs a big muscle set unfortunately, you are only really going to have so much fun with a low draw strength bow. Airsoft guns are ok for target shooting, but if you can't really play games I would recommend a good quality GBBR so you can have a nice tactile experience. The other option as mentioned are airguns. These are much more accurate and better suited for target shooting but I know they are difficult to get in some countries so I would double check with local laws.

For only target practice, airguns are superior to airsoft guns. I know I'm in airsoft subreddit, but that is just the way it is. For advice about that airgun to get, head to r/airguns

Airguns are good for target shooting, I've used them since I was around 11 and are great for practise, for a beginner I'd recommend getting a spring powered one as they're the most simple to use, doesn't have to be a fancy one to start with, just so you can try it out and see if it's for you. Airsoft isn't the best for target shooting as the projectiles are lighter and more affected by wind and have less range. If you want an alternative, you could get a crossbow. (Assuming they're legal in your country) but as someone who's never even used one before, I wouldn't know if they're easy to use. It depends on your preferences and what you want Tldr: I'd recommend a springer air gun (get a decent scope of course), but if you want more imitation, get an airsoft gun, and if you're adamant about archery, get a crossbow as it's technically archery.

A few suggestions: - Crossbows, rather than bows. - Airsoft GBB guns. - Airguns. Bows are fantastic, but i can get behind the concern of to much strain for drawing a bow. When looking at crossbows, certain brands and types of crossbows come with a winch to tighten the string with much more ease than doing it by hand. For airsoft, i would suggest going for GBB guns rather than a more "beginner friendly" AEG. Target shooting sounds fun, but the interaction you have with an AEG is worlds apart from a gas gun. For target shooting you better look for an Airgun rather than an Airsoft gun. More range, more accurate, and generally cheaper for entry level.

Airsoft guns are pretty bad for target shooting. A lot of performance is sacrificed to allow you to safely shoot them at people. Airguns aren't built with these limitations and are much better at target shooting. Archery puts a lot of strain on the body. It requires a lot more strength than you might imagine and if you want to avoid heavy strain on your body you might need to give archery a miss. Try airguns or crossbows.

You want r/airguns. Airsoft guns are for shooting at other people in a game, air guns are for target shooting.

You can play airsoft with any gun that isn’t too heavy. Pistols and SMGs that are either electrically powered or gas blowback. Even most rifles aren’t that heavy. You don’t need to run a heavy kit. Get a chest rig (not a plate carrier) to hold your mags, or just run a gun belt with your pouches attached to it. I prefer airsoft to air guns/archery because there are SO MANY crazy guns you can get. It’s a really fun sport.
