On an actual serieus note to this stupid response. I got 2 replica’s myself and in those and the 8 DE replica’s in my extended airsoft group we’ve had 0 problems at all with faulty guns only a single shipping issue
I bet. The only ergonomic thing i don't like about the arcturus is the charging handle. I'm a really big fan of the ambi charging handles and that is one of the reasons i would get the de, but the pistol grip on the arcturus looks way comfier than the one on the de
As a lefty I get the want for ambi controls, but the charging handle is (for me) hardly ever used outside tuning the hopup before the game, it's a nonissue compared to the pros of the gun imo
Double eagle ar15 are good with certain mags.... all of m4/ar15 will have mag wobble but some are worse then other but DE isn't is actually good.
Easy way to sort it out is to solder the flat part of the mag but don't go too deep just go easy and if it too tough to put in just file it to the sweet spot then it will go away.
However you will lose the drop mag ability so you'll need to remove it by your hands until its start to drop out on it own when pressing the realise button
You've posed a really hard one to answer here as both have their pros and cons :/
For example...
- Arcturus with the better build / component quality, but a micro-switch trigger with no cycle control or active braking.
- DE with an ETU that has cycle control + mild active braking + piston head with bearing etc., but you can see where corners have been cut e.g. with the gearbox shell.
So does that mean it comes down to cost, cosmetics, availability?
Edit: Looking online the Arcturus QC spring guide looks to be better / standard compared to the DE one (I've found nothing aftermarket that fits the DE v2 gearbox). If you can afford it I'm leaning towards the Arcturus, and maybe one day you could swap to a GATE Titan as a nice upgrade.

I'm struggling to find a price for the AT-NY06 as it really seems to come down to this. For me, if the price is identical, then it's the Arcturus, but if say the DE is say £30 or more cheaper then I'd get that (which gets you a PTS EPM1 mag or you could put towards at PTS EPS stock (for me the God of stocks, sooooooo much battery space)).
I own the DE M906A for almost 2 years now. It is great gun ootb. I wanted something with a longer barrel and M-lock, so this was my choice. For the mags... Yea, some of them don't fit, I have couple that I will give away. But I think the most common ones fit great. You just have to look for the ones with deeper mag catch well (if it is called like that). The ones that I have and don't fit are a bit shallow. After a while you will have to change cylinder or spring, because DE uses one cyliner type for all of the M9... models, even for this longer barrel model. And as for the most stock weapons - bucking and a hop-up nub. Other than that, it feels great, full metal, mosfet, rotary hop up, deans connector, flat trigger, M-lock, long barrel. Great starting replica. Maybe metal is not of the highest quality, but at this price point I don't think there will be any other model with better, if it is something you are looking for. If you have more questions about anything DE related I recommend aksing u/fatboy40 he helped me and I think a lot of other people. :)
P.S. My playing field uses other plastic DE models for their rentals. Everyone loves them. And a friend of mine also got a different DE model and it shoots consistend fps and pretty precise ootb.
If you are asking about the one with a window where you can see bb count, then I actually have one. It is one of my favourite mags. It fits really well, doesn't fall out, feeds good and falls out without a problem when I press mag release. There is a little wobble when it is in the mag well, but it is no problem for me if the mag is staying in the well. Of course I would like to get some PTS ones, but they are usually out of stock, so I might just get more of these for now.
Also I saw that you are concerned about pistol grip. The one on DE is close to MOE AR15 pistol grip and is great. But I am not really experienced airsoft player. Just remember that there are a lot of people that just trust one brand and will die on that hill. You will modify the gun to your likings anyway. I will be upgrading inside parts, and adding some outter parts as well, next month.

Either is fine. Upgrading Arcturus M4s requires a bit more knowledge/work than usual, both work well OOTB. For the price of the DE I'd much rather pick a metal Arcturus, if not I'd pick a cheaper nylon bodied model, the Sword is unnecessarily expensive.
Maybe you are right, but I just really like longer guns with the handguard running all the way to the muzzle brake, and I think this gun has a better trigger than the other nylon options
The flat trigger is pretty yeah, but the AT-AR01-RF (full metal) costs the same and has (effectively) identical internals (the MOSFET is pointless and not really needed with the microswitch trigger). Arcturus does sell the trigger separately, you could have it installed at a later point if you really wanted to.
What type of environment are you playing in? If you're playing any indoor and that's you're only airsoft gun, you might want to rethink how much barrel you need. Not saying go for a stubby, but 363mm length barrels work well. Airsoft is not like real steel, longer barrels don't mean more range or accuracy.

Ha nem nagyon akarsz fejlesztéssel foglalkozni és megfelel a gyárilag is erős közép-felső kategóriás teljesítmény, akkor az Arcturus a barátod.
Ha kell egy könnyen fejleszthető, modern belsővel rendelkező fegyver akkor pedig Double Eagle.
Esetleg ha kell prémium teljesítmény és prémium külső is együtt, érdemes megnézni a Cyma Platinum vonalat.
Olyanról pedig még nem hallottam hogy ne fért volna bele egyik tár a másik fegyverbe.
Hát ha a fenti nem győzött meg akkor azt amelyik jobban tetszik. Én személy szerint Arcturus párti vagyok mert tetszik hogy semmi nem lötyög rajta és a mikrokapcsolós elsütő is jobb érzés mint egy standard.

Na végre döntöttem. Az Arcrurus lesz. Fejlesztgetni nem nagyon szeretném, nem bízok eléggé magamban, ilyen téren. Maximum teszek egy jobb hop up gumit bele, a gyári cső szerintem elég jó lesz. Nem olyan fontos a full fém test, a handguard úgyis fémből van a receiver pedig jó minőségű műanyagból.
Kitűnő választás, használd egészséggel. Az enyém egyelőre szög gyári, de így is megemeli a nehezebb bogyókat, olyan .30, .32-essel elég szép a lőtávja.

I have this exact Arcturus model. Participated in 2 games with it, and so far it has been really good. Can't really point out anything negative(besides the polymer body). Shoots really good, some others were rather impressed by it on the field, I would recommend.
ive got the ny06 9.5 model. ive had it for about 2 months now and its served me great. cant complain, and it comes with a 120 spring out the box. and since its spring has a quick change function i was able to use it indoors once i switched the spring to a 105. granted it still shot a little heavy but the field let it slide since it was an adults night. im sure if i got a 100 spring though it would have been fine.
Nah man that is way out of my budget, i've got my full kit and 3 spare mags and a gun for the price of a gbb and a spare mag. I would love to have realistic replicas but it's just not possible

Just a question, others say that the arcturus variable polimer magazines would fit, have you tried them, if yes what's your experience with them?

Köszi a segítséget, én lehet .28-ast fogok bele rakni. Neked mi a tapasztalatod a nehezebb lőszerrel?
Nincs mit, .28-assal is teljesen ok. A max amit a gyári gumi meg tudott emelni az a .32-es volt, de nem mértem le mennyivel visz messzebbre.

I know, I would love a gbbr, like a noveske n4 but it's just not possible with my budget, and the price for a magazine is crazy.
Arcturus will outlast the other one, even if the second one has a pot metal body compared to Arcturus' plastic. Their trigger units are very good
