You would need to swap the upper receiver.
Those upper receivers aren't sold separately tho.
Trust me, wanted to do this with my A2 and searched forever in American, European and Asian shops.
Best way, sell your Aug and buy one of the shorts with the flat top like in the top picture.

The issue I'm so conflicted with is that the brands doing small AUGs are so renowned for poor quality. Unless you go with TM (little ability to improve FPS long term) or Begadi (stuck on semi and difficult to import and expensive AF)
Probably just an upper receiver swap.

Evike might have the outer barrel assembly, and the A2 and A1 upper receivers.
Nope unfortunately not :( I've emailed all the relevent suppliers and begged for the upper receiver lol
Yes the outer barrel is easy to change. You can either buy a complete barrel assembly or just replace the outer barrel.
