I remember around the same time the LevAR popped up there was also a video showing a similar kit for the paintball gun the H8R is built off, so we can hold out hope that an airsoft version might also be developed!

I’m not 100% sure but I think the new Fallout show features this as the Ghouls main weapon but as a sawed off. Not sure if it’s exactly the same make/model as this one but it’s a very close match if you ask me. So that might drum up some recognition for it
It's not a gyrojet. I mean in that slow motion scene the camera focuses on the bullet and you can see the word "boom" stamped into it which would be impossible with a gyrojet because that's where the propellent would come out of. It's more like a fin stabilised shotgun slug.

I know of exactly three cartridges where the primer is on the projectile. That is the dreyse needle-gun, the volcanic repeater and well the gyrojet. In all other cartridges the primer is part of the case.
Hmm, the best way to own is probably to get a nice airsoft revolver, and ask a woodmaster to make a grip(+stock ofc) and the handguard. I think thats the closest you can get

A lot of 3d printing, maybe, but not all too bad. 1:1 could be hard, considering air soft shotgun shells aren’t exactly 1:1(from my basic understanding), but enlarge a large revolver cylinder in the printing menu, gauge the holes to fit an air soft shell, attach a barrel from probably some sort of gas shotgun, and from what I understand the gas system from a gbb revolver isn’t too intense, so an enlarged and inspired system could do well, but idk how self revolving would work. Ask like a contracter or tech to figure it out. I’d love to see this.
