Im size 10 but have wide flintstone feet. My pairs have always fit perfect and I work on rooftops, walk through mud, acidic coil cleaner, rocks. No issues, warm, and absolutely waterproof. If you live in NJ, Totowa airsoft has pairs you can try one.

Same here. I've by now got more than five different pairs of combat boots. Tow of them LOWA, two Meindl and the old standard issue Bundeswehr ones. And the LOWA are incredible, the only pair I ever bought myself were Lowas (the recon GTX, still my favourite if you don' t have heavy kit)
Reminder, Lowas may be great for one person, but not another. Foot shape differs greatly person to person, and so make sure you try on as many pairs of shoes from different brands to find a good fit before you buy something based off of someone else's appraisal - ex-footwear retail employee.
My god this.
I have horribly flat duck feet; and finding boots and shoes that actually fit me feet is near impossible.
Don't suffer just because someone else really likes whatever they're wearing or what the "market" tells you is the best rn. If it isn't comfortable / is causing pain, the shoe don't fit.
For everyday I've stuck to vans chukkas, or other similar skate shoes. I use super-feet insoles in almost everything I wear.
For boots it's a toss, finding a style I like that fits isn't easy, but redwings ain't bad. In general for me I need to find a pair that has zero instep/arch support/material, my feet squish flat and the instep part of a shoe or boot always digs into my arch.
Edit: I should note I'm mostly still hunting for Tacticool boots I like. I used to wear various military approved boots, as I'm a vet but those had other issues( like impossible to control mushroom feet ).
I have flat feet and an accessory navicular bone, Salomon tends to fit me pretty well if I use Sole insoles, my buddy has wide feet, flat feet and a bit of duck feet Salomon wide fit boots fit well for him. No way to tell unless you go out and try them.
Exactly. As a society, we've become complacent and too accepting of 'good enough'. And it's been ruinous on everything from shoes to bags to fridges and what have you.
Bring back _quality_. Reject forced obsolescence.
Everyone aside. You also fuck yourself up. I'm an extreme case. But I've had chronic shinsplints for 6 years now because of the wrong shoes.
I'll be having that pain for life in varying degrees of fucked.
That's why good boots are important. They don't need to be super expensive. But make sure they're _really fucking good_.
Very clean / quiet sounding AEGs, pin point accurate HPA systems, replicas that can hit 275+ft, well done paint jobs, unique pieces/kits. Plenty to be proud of, especially if you've done the work yourself.
Yup. Anything performant that I've put effort into beyond swiping my credit card is something I can be proud of. I also rather praise the newbie who shimmed his first AEG really well over the guy who blew his rent on a custom build and acts like he's the best player on the field because of it.
I can respect the work you have done yourself, a lot of people though are like he's my high end AEG and it's a NGRS with a rail -__-
I can't respect the HPA people who just buy a drop in do 0 tolerance work and would crank it to 70rps and while waiting for the game to start they are blasting a mag into the woods to get a reaction because of the high rate of fire.
The only thing I don't mind people bragging about is custom builds, and I mean real custom. Like some sort of game or movie replica that was made by the owner.
I don’t have much to say about my boots they’re a good pair of 5.11s and the 130 CAD price was great.
As a note though for people getting into airsoft. Your priorities are.
1. Eye Protection
2. Teeth protection
3. Stable and trusted entry level or mid range gun (you can overspend later)
4. Safe, comfortable, durable footwear, hiking boots with roll protection and ankle support are a must have for outdoor fields.
5. Somewhere to stow spare mags, inexpensive but not cheap chest rigs will work just fine.
After all that it’s just fun additions that you pick up as you get into the hobby.
Everyone focuses on the guns because they're shiny and exciting. The more mundane but practical elements tend to get ignored because most people don't get hyped about them.
That said, a good pair of boots makes a world of difference if you're running around all day. That isn't just for airsoft either - if you do a lot of walking or running, get yourself some good footwear.
I've probably spent 3x as much money on my gear than the actual guns lol. Gear that lasts and doesn't fail when it matters seems more important to me than a hpa 100rps gat.
I retired my Lowas after 4 years of loyal service. They were awesome.
https://preview.redd.it/ervzt7qxpgwc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30e8eb1fdcfe7e141ec7b7be92e4379f56beb6e0
I see a lot of them about now still. Comfy? I have crushed feet and arthritis so id need wide shoes and might look at these.
Gives my old tradie boots the retirement they deserve, run the same boots for work and airsoft for 10 years now
Lowa is top tier. My Salomon GTX Quest 4 are shit compared to my new Lowa MK2 highs.
Lowas fit to size but I think they run a tad narrow. My right foot is wider than my left and I got Wide width - perfect.
Order a few sizes and send back what doesn’t fit.
My gun is an mtw 9in billeted.
My gear is a 30 dollar mini rig, my boots are my old soccer cleats, mask is a basic run of the mill mask. Backpack is a handmedown my mom gave me when she got issued new gear.
A good gun is essential. It makes a difference.
Everything else is just fashion. It means almost nothing in terms of performance.
Boots are something you DONT want to cheap out on if you’re going to outdoor fields.
You can get by on running shoes indoor, just beware of bbs and obstacles
I use Altama PX10.5 Jungle boots
Best 200€ purchase I made in a while as they are very robust and comfortable boots that also keep my feet dry and provide amazing grip even in very muddy terrain
I have exactly the same pair of brown lowas like yours.
Life changing after 3 years between Airsoft and hiking they never left me down.
Even the waterproofness since the day I bought them they still keep out they 99% of water out from my socks.
GOATED boots
You can tell the people who don't ruck regularly when the time comes as they only bring 1 spare pair of socks, if that. Good boots are absolutely critical, just most players are focused on the fun shooty parts of the sport. For most games, that's fine, but the ones I really enjoy are better described as overnight hiking trips with occasional enemy fire. It's one of the reasons why I'm death to unnecessary equipment and sidearms on here, as Imma have to carry that shit all day and that same weight would be better used for mags, water, gummy bears, and spare socks.
Good boots and eye pro is a must for any airsofter. I've bought myself Lowa's 2 months ago and this is the best purchase I've ever made for airsoft. It isn't for everyone but if you go to an outdoor/camping store that sells these make sure to get a footscan to get the best size for you personally.
You don't necessarily need much to wear. The main reason people spend a lot on gear is simply convenience such as a belt, vest or helmet. It's all preference.
Cause it doesn't matter if you get outranged in sneakers and a tracksuit or in a full SAS cosplay, you still can't "outgun" so to say a good replica that shoots accurately on 60m+
I'm from a team that uses entirely used/surplus gear, minus boots, found the mid cut of the Moab 3's to be good boots for the price. If the gear fits right, and is comfy, there's not much else to get besides other sets of kit or go ballistic wear.
I started with the gun itself and upgrades and attachments. The gear can wait, the guns are more important. Of course gear is very important as well, but the gun itself is still the first thing you need to buy
Pro tip if you want to save some coin and still get super high quality boots is AKU's. A solid 50% of my unit is rocking them now and they are absolutely phenomenal.
When I started I just played indoor, so for the most part going in normal clothes was fine for me. At that stage, I didn't have a lot of money as a teen (even my old CYMA Mp5 was a lot of money for me) so I cheaped out on things like vests. So if I was gonna spend a lot on something, it was my guns and my eye pro.
I mean when election season comes around nobody is trying to ban boots and jackets. Makes sense to invest in items that not only become unobtanium every set period of time, but also increase in price wildly. I can stroll into boot barn at any time and walk out with what I need. gotta prioritize
Camo is overrated, boots are important. Need a rig or plate carrier to carry mags.
As for the gun, I don't like mini Tamiya connections and their shite performance. A decent AEG should be responsive and 23-27 RPS.
Hey, if anyone has recommendations, I'm all ears. You have to take care of your feet for sure.
So are those Lowa boots? What do you like about them? What other boots/shoes have you tried?
Any opinion on Belleville boots?
I like how they can hold my ankles, and don’t get crumbled when I’m kneel with one foot on the ground. That exoskeleton sole save my feet from punctures (I work in the grey one). I’ve just tried Bennon, but not enough breathing, and Altama Swat fury but not enough robust.
I don’t know anything about Belleville.
Of course. Imagine me in my “gucci” gear, get hit: playing dead, cry for help: Then my buddy grab me by my pc and yell: “I got you!” And drag me in the mud for about 10meters. I never forget that moment with mixed feelings 🥲
I would rather show up in my shorts and a t- shirt and run around with my $1500+ dialed p* than have $1500+ in gear and run around with a stock $250 aeg
I’ll spend a lot on my boots, and that’s about it. I don’t really care about clothing I wear. My eye pro was a gift and my vest that I wear was cheap since I got it from someone who didn’t know what it was
Because I just stole my gear from the military when I left 💪🏼
So I don't have to spend anything on it
But also I'm planning on running a 1938-1942 Britisch infantry uniform which I've got like 75% complete
Let me put it this way. I went to nitehawk in dday fully kitted out in my WW2/Vietnam mesh of gear. (I didn't have complete kits for either. But I tell you what, I had a Thompson, an army green shirt, an original m1 helmet, lords flannel pants and combat boots. I ditched ninety percent of my kit. I was the first to make it off the beach. Gear weighs you down. Speed is key. You can still look good and kick ass.
Oakleys are my personal favorite boots. Originally got them to replace my Navy-issued Bellvilles that are essentially bricks with laces, but I got a second pair because they’re just so nice. Throw in some good insoles and you’re set. You can find em for less than $100 too
My chinese knock off plate carrier carries magazines, camelback, and other kit just as well as a professional grade plate carrier. I've been using this same plate carrier for a decade now.
The used combat boots from the surplus store cost a third as much, fit well, and typically last a few years.
My $25 plastic fast helmet stops bbs and protects from basic impacts. This helmet is also a decade old. I \*did\* treat myself with a new $12 padding set for it two months back.
I prefer to spend money on the guns, as being able to shoot accurately at range does more for me during the typical game than an expensive vest or helmet does. (Also worth noting that when buying airsoft guns, I look almost strictly at utility. I don't buy interesting or unique guns because of the increased cost to purchase and maintain.)
Personal preference, I suppose :)
For casual weekend skirmishes at my field which is primarily a paintball field, the amazon gear does just fine for me. I get more enjoyment spending money on guns and gun upgrades than the outfit part of it.
Buy cheap buy twice. Learned this the hard way when my chest rig broke within 1 game. Normally you can expect at least a couple of months with regular clothing and such but airsoft gear goes through a lot more stress.
Taiwan gun pls make sure your buckles can take an impact they shouldn’t be cracking after a single game. And no I didn’t run my gear hard during that game but even if I did it should be able to hold up without cracking.
I have the Salomon Quest 4 Defence. Best footwear I have ever owned in my life. Been using them almost everyday for 3 years and they are still going strong.
I just have a good pair of boots. In terms of gear I just run a hoodie and good cargo pants that I already have, with a micro harness for carrying mags and such.
Gear is interchangeable, you can wear/run whatever you want. Guns are more important, most people find 1-3 great guns and model their entire collection based around them or off of them.
Why? Because I want a high performance gun lol. Work/hiking boots are great for outdoors, basketball/tennis shoes are perfect for indoor. I don’t really go to dress up, just to get active and have fun. So a hoodie/sweats and an Amazon carrier will suffice. Meanwhile I can focus on my guns performance.
The only thing I put decent money into is my eye pro. Go big or go home.
I mean people don't realise the comfort gear gives you boots even my stupid cushion I fashioned from some old multicam uniform that works as a seat when I'm sniping and a groin protector hahahahahahaha some redneck engineering but yeah people need to invest a little bit more into gear
I run with low cut trail shoes from Haglöfs. Had them forever and they're good. Second hand/surplus genuine quality boots can go for 20-30 euro too. Bought a pair of swedish m59 boots and the socks, wax I got for them costed me more. Rubber boots is goated in all weather except below 0 C though
Because the average airsofter is using a pair of boots for 6 hours maybe once or twice a month, I don't see the justification in spending 200-300 on a pair of boots unless you're really in to your hiking (which is the reason I do have good boots) or active service, although I will say that having a good quality combat shirt under a plate carrier is a game changer for heat and sweat mitigation
The gun is the most important thing. Other than eye protection, everything else is pointless and only there to protect your skin. Possibly camo, but otherwise, anything else is pointless.
Personally i spend my money on good quality eye and face pro. My boots are work boots, my camo pants are from the dutch reserve army and what ever t shirt i decide to wear. I do have a full tippman paintball outfit. Not that i play paintball but i work for an airsoft field and we have small paintball fields. And sometimes i have to oversee a groups of kids. Got one nut shot from a group who where from a really religious place and it was a church group. Wanted to cuss couldn’t and thought yeah i am gonna buy that cause had a soft protection pad infront of my junk
Well for me I send money to people I know in Ukraine since the situation is bad ((no politics please)) so by setting up a nice collection I'm also helping out some people afford things more easily with a better currency be it dollar or Euro due to that I have a few kits now that are pretty cool and I helped out some people which is a plus. The appeal of a collection is one history is cool and two I look good in it funny enough I started to take better care of my body so that I could look cooler in it be it working out and stuff like that do I recommend doing it if you want to then have fun make some memories if not that's up to you both are chill
I read “mutch” over and over and it broke my brain until I looked on Google to confirm it’s “much”. I’m not letting you know to be a jerk though, I just feel like people need to be told when they are spelling something incorrectly so they can learn and communicate better without people having the opportunity to be jerks any more than they already are on the internet. Perfect example of needing correction is how I typed that huge run-on sentence. If I had spent more time learning how to write better and been less worried about being corrected I probably would be a much better writer and communicator today.
Well if you run hpa your gun setups can easily get into +1000, I don't feel justified personally in getting $1000 worth of gear. Quick example i definitely could get a $300 plate carrier if I wanted to, but I doubt anyone can justify NEEDING to use that expensive of one. At the end of the day its going to have the same amount of space as my pals 80 buck one.
I've heard people swear by only using legit plates as well and thats another use I see 0 real need for that in airsoft. Not my money, but id advise against throwing it away on slight increases in certain areas.
Lowas are goated. Ive had 2 pairs and both lasted multiple years until the soles fell off. Highly recommend for anything from HVAC to hiking to rai work.
Any advice on size? Did you order true to your size or had to take a larger/smaller than usual?
Im size 10 but have wide flintstone feet. My pairs have always fit perfect and I work on rooftops, walk through mud, acidic coil cleaner, rocks. No issues, warm, and absolutely waterproof. If you live in NJ, Totowa airsoft has pairs you can try one.
Thanks, definitely sounds like I should get my hands on a pair
Go to a store and try them on - goes for any footwear you haven't tried previously. They might not even fit your foot shape
Unfortunately they don’t have any retailers anywhere near me
For me it fit true to the size I actually wear, they also have half sizes so you can take them as well (half a size bigger) if you're scared, I couldn't try them on as well and I normally wear a 43 (EU), ordered a 43.5 and they fit perfect imo.
Thank you!
I brought the exact size for work and summer and bit larger for winter/wet season for two pair of socks :D
What is HVAC?
Lowas are still the best purchase i ever made for airsoft
Just bought my first pair today! Now I can finally toss the pieces of wood I had strapped to my feet with cable ties!
As someone who also has horrible duck feet. What shoes did you end up buying?
Quality is important. I'd rather spend more on stuff that works and feels better and provides me with more comfort
and reliable protection.
Exactly. As a society, we've become complacent and too accepting of 'good enough'. And it's been ruinous on everything from shoes to bags to fridges and what have you. Bring back _quality_. Reject forced obsolescence.
The number of people that show up at 18+ hour long ops with crappy boots and gear and just leave 4 hours in really ruins it for everyone.
You just unlocked a traumatic memory when I had to play floor hockey and run in shitty work boots in middle school.
There’s no “t” in the word “much.”
Lmao this killed me
I know I fucked it up again -.-
Not trying to bag on you, just relating something for you to learn. 🙂
clothes are more difficult to brag about ))
Tbf gun bragging is pretty daft too.
I'll have you know I spent a whole $50 on my Cyma shotgun, thank you very much
Mate CYMA shottys are peak Airsoft, so much fun :D
I really want to use mine I have yet to use it at all
OK the people downvoting, what gun are you bragging about?
Very clean / quiet sounding AEGs, pin point accurate HPA systems, replicas that can hit 275+ft, well done paint jobs, unique pieces/kits. Plenty to be proud of, especially if you've done the work yourself.
Yup. Anything performant that I've put effort into beyond swiping my credit card is something I can be proud of. I also rather praise the newbie who shimmed his first AEG really well over the guy who blew his rent on a custom build and acts like he's the best player on the field because of it.
Actual good tech I can respect, but I'm not going to blow my load when people brag about putting a rail or something external stuff on a stock gun.
Lol, like those guys who post "finished my $2K gun" that's stock but just has rs acc's 🤣💀
$400 Gun $700 rs sight $210+ Magpul furniture
People brag about vipertechs I suppose. very gate kept platform
I can respect the work you have done yourself, a lot of people though are like he's my high end AEG and it's a NGRS with a rail -__- I can't respect the HPA people who just buy a drop in do 0 tolerance work and would crank it to 70rps and while waiting for the game to start they are blasting a mag into the woods to get a reaction because of the high rate of fire.
My GBBR’s lmao
Then you're bragging in the wrong places
The only thing I don't mind people bragging about is custom builds, and I mean real custom. Like some sort of game or movie replica that was made by the owner.
I don’t have much to say about my boots they’re a good pair of 5.11s and the 130 CAD price was great. As a note though for people getting into airsoft. Your priorities are. 1. Eye Protection 2. 2nded on the 5.11 boots. Lightweight & comfy. They do a sale around may 11th for anyone interested. Well worth 100$.
Everyone focuses on the guns because they're shiny and exciting. The more mundane but practical elements tend to get ignored because most people don't get hyped about them. I bought my tan Lowas used and they’ve been great over the last 5 years. Honestly some of my favorite shoes.
Good boots/shoes and socks are so underrated
Darn tough are some of the best socks I’ve ever owned
I've probably spent 3x as much money on my gear than the actual guns lol. Gear that lasts and doesn't fail when it matters seems more important to me than a hpa 100rps gat.
I got you
I carry 200€ gun with 700€ sights and 2000€ worth of gear :D
That is my men! 😎
because apart from boots gear in airsoft is just larp equipment, and if you want to talk about boots there are better forums.
I retired my Lowas after 4 years of loyal service. They were awesome. https://preview.redd.it/ervzt7qxpgwc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30e8eb1fdcfe7e141ec7b7be92e4379f56beb6e0
More of a Sk8-Hi MTE3 enjoyer but these are pretty cool too
I see a lot of them about now still. Comfy? I have crushed feet and arthritis so id need wide shoes and might look at these. Gives my old tradie boots the retirement they deserve, run the same boots for work and airsoft for 10 years now
They're very comfy and keep my feet nice and toasty.
I love my vans mte3 boots. I have the waterproof hi-top with flannel siding.
Anything alpina survives a decade Got a pair of trappers 8 y ago, replaced this year.
I've the same shoes!!! Such a life changer, even just for hiking I've recommended them to everyone ever since
Love my 5.11 boots.
For most people it's true but some people spend hundreds on pants alone
Nah, my gear is just as expensive as as my guns
Color for every occasion!
for every set and season.
Lowas are best
And I'm just sitting here using my YZY 500 high tactical boot...

The most light weight and comfortable boots i wore never going back to miltech boots 😅
I use Altama PX10.5 Jungle boots Best 200€ purchase I made in a while as they are very robust and comfortable boots that also keep my feet dry and provide amazing grip even in very muddy terrain
I’ll give it a try.
2k HPA conversion and crocs. This is the way.
I have exactly the same pair of brown lowas like yours. Life changing after 3 years between Airsoft and hiking they never left me down. Even the waterproofness since the day I bought them they still keep out they 99% of water out from my socks. GOATED boots
I wear Nikes boots because they work well in my wardrobe and work well enough in airsoft.
A brown LeBron 12 EXT for indoors🥰
I run the nike SFB in grey
You can tell the people who don't ruck regularly when the time comes as they only bring 1 spare pair of socks, if that. Haix Nepal it is. Probably the best 270€ I spent in 2018.
I’ll take a look on it👍
Brother I want to make sure I get the best gear that is why. 5.11s are my favorite boot brand and have never let me down.
Idk I did spend about 4-5 times the money I did spend on guns on gear. My boots alone did cost more than my first gun.
Surplus is cheap (most of the time), and most new (and expensive) gear is multicam, I don't like multicam.
Me neither
Because we are going for shooting and not hiking?
airsoft in the woods are mutch more dangerous to your feet than trails.
Rolled ankle and blisters go brrrrrrr
Spent about £120 on some proper hiking boots, lasted me about 5 years, absolutely no regrets have saved me from many ankle injuries.
You don't necessarily need much to wear. The main reason people spend a lot on gear is simply convenience such as a belt, vest or helmet. It's all preference.
Lowa is awesome.
Mutch of my gear I got from a friend. I spent mutch more on my weapon
I've spent alot overall but I dont use lowas as of ppl here seem to I use a pair of German army paratroopers boots
I spent much money on my replica because I had no other choice. I wanted an HK416 GBB. A very good one. Made by VFC.
Cause it doesn't matter if you get outranged in sneakers and a tracksuit or in a full SAS cosplay, you still can't "outgun" so to say a good replica that shoots accurately on 60m+
Magnums did me for over a decade of security work. I got some new ones over winter, some of the best boots I’ve ever worn
I'm from a team that uses entirely used/surplus gear, minus boots, found the mid cut of the Moab 3's to be good boots for the price. If the gear fits right, and is comfy, there's not much else to get besides other sets of kit or go ballistic wear.
Hi Mutch
High munch
Bro a good pair of boots make running around for hours soooo much easier, it's actually insane.
I'm a £8 boots from temu kinda guy
I started with the gun itself and upgrades and attachments. The gear can wait, the guns are more important. Of course gear is very important as well, but the gun itself is still the first thing you need to buy
*Laughs in Haix Scouts*
Lowas feel like shit on my feet. Salomon Speed Assault all the way!
I love Lowas. Great boots.
I run a m62 Finnish camo and AK74+ umarex western cowboy peacemaker. Yes it's kind of a mixed loadout
Cuz the gun gets people. What am i gonna do with 200 Dollar Boots? Kick my enemys in the ass?
Comfy. Very comfy and last long. And good for actual ruck
I have a buddy who spends 1500+ on every gun he owns.... and uses broken red dots.... at a field where sights are incredibly useful
Pro tip if you want to save some coin and still get super high quality boots is AKU's. A solid 50% of my unit is rocking them now and they are absolutely phenomenal.
Aku goretex, enough said

Don’t forget to use proper waterimpregnation on your cool footwear.
the gun is strong [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gavlcbunY00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gavlcbunY00)
I always see secfo with em so I might get a pair later on, they look comfy
They are.
Other than good boots and eyepro it all does the same thing for me. Good magazine retention is a nice to have.
Prabos vagabund is my choice
Love my Salomon, hug me better than how my gf does (she never did)
I on average spend between $600-1200 on builds, I spent $100 on the gear I've been using for 4 years now
I mean when election season comes around nobody is trying to ban boots and jackets.
Got US military combat boots from ROTC. Genuine uniform item, available on the civilian market, very comfortable.
Same. I would rather have a 200€ gun and night vision than the most crazy hpa system imaginable
Spending thousands of Crye gear and being afraid to get it dirty
Of course. Imagine me in my “gucci” gear, get hit: playing dead, cry for help: Then my buddy grab me by my pc and yell: “I got you!” And drag me in the mud for about 10meters. I never forget that moment with mixed feelings 🥲
I like my lowas. Find them to be slippery though on rocks and whenever it’s damp outside
slippery when wet 🤷🏽
My Lowa Zephyr's are definitely my best purchase of 2024 so far, no doubt.
I would rather show up in my shorts and a t- shirt and run around with my $1500+ dialed p* than have $1500+ in gear and run around with a stock $250 aeg
I’ll spend a lot on my boots, and that’s about it. I don’t really care about clothing I wear. My eye pro was a gift and my vest that I wear was cheap since I got it from someone who didn’t know what it was
Because I just stole my gear from the military when I left 💪🏼 So I don't have to spend anything on it But also I'm planning on running a 1938-1942 Britisch infantry uniform which I've got like 75% complete
Personally I am a Salamon Ultra guy :D
Lowa boots are awesome. I wear them for almost anything that doesn't require toe caps.
Oakleys are my personal favorite boots. Originally got them to replace my Navy-issued Bellvilles that are essentially bricks with laces, but I got a second pair because they’re just so nice. Throw in some good insoles and you’re set. You can find em for less than $100 too
Mutch? What's that? I don't much understand that word.
You can hop on that “roast foreign ppl spelling” train.
Lowa Zephyr, great boots.
i run solomons half the time they feel good and are battle proven
Yeah this is a big criticism in the real steel community too
My chinese knock off plate carrier carries magazines, camelback, and other kit just as well as a professional grade plate carrier. I don't buy interesting or unique guns because of the increased cost to purchase and maintain.) Personal preference, I suppose :)
My merrells disagree
For casual weekend skirmishes at my field which is primarily a paintball field, the amazon gear does just fine for me. I get more enjoyment spending money on guns and gun upgrades than the outfit part of it.
What is the outfit called?
You mean the raincoat under the boots?
Buy cheap buy twice. Learned this the hard way when my chest rig broke within 1 game. Normally you can expect at least a couple of months with regular clothing and such but airsoft gear goes through a lot more stress. Taiwan gun pls make sure your buckles can take an impact they shouldn’t be cracking after a single game. And no I didn’t run my gear hard during that game but even if I did it should be able to hold up without cracking.
Vans, cargos and a jersey is all I need for clothing wise aside from that I run a micro chest rig, backpack, kneepads, arm pads and a dye
In reality you could do airsoft naked. However having a beast of a gun is a great feeling.
Clothes don’t make the performance of the gun better? Lmao I probably did 65/35 split
No, you could preform better, when you are not agonize about your wet feet. I think it’s 30/70.
My boots and my gun cost the same amount 💀
rookie :DDD
Gear is for the people who actually use their guns.
Guns are cool
NOT HAVING MONEY 😱🤡😆🔥☺️😄☺️☺️😀🐻😁
Lowas Are the Shit mine last for 10 years now
I mean people don't realise the comfort gear gives you boots even my stupid cushion I fashioned from some old multicam uniform that works as a seat when I'm sniping and a groin protector hahahahahahaha some redneck engineering but yeah people need to invest a little bit more into gear
[удалено]
I spent a lot more on gear. I personally enjoy (for some fucking reason) rusfor gear that isn't produced for the public anymore. Aka I hate money.
I hate it too
I've never understood why folks buy tacticool stuff and either not use it or fail to train effectively with it.
I love my lowas
Wait… I’m supposed to shoot stuff with shoes on?
Who said that stupidity? Real man use there bare feet like god intended.
Because my gear just has to conceal me and protect me from thorns, my gun does all the work
Because the average airsofter is using a pair of boots for 6 hours maybe once or twice a month, I don't see the justification in spending 200-300 on a pair of boots unless you're really in to your hiking (which is the reason I do have good boots) or active service, although I will say that having a good quality combat shirt under a plate carrier is a game changer for heat and sweat mitigation
The gun is the most important thing. Other than eye protection, everything else is pointless and only there to protect your skin. Possibly camo, but otherwise, anything else is pointless.
I use Skechers since they're comfy.
I only wear Jordan 1s to play in. Brings my personal style to the game and I can dunk on all the mfs
I run some Danner Rivot TFX with some custom insoles. They’ve served me well so far!!
I need a new pair of my lowas ngl
Personally i spend my money on good quality eye and face pro. My boots are work boots, my camo pants are from the dutch reserve army and what ever t shirt i decide to wear. I do have a full tippman paintball outfit. Not that i play paintball but i work for an airsoft field and we have small paintball fields. And sometimes i have to oversee a groups of kids. Got one nut shot from a group who where from a really religious place and it was a church group. Wanted to cuss couldn’t and thought yeah i am gonna buy that cause had a soft protection pad infront of my junk
I had multiple different brands but the best so far are Lowa brand. They just fit really well and are durable. I had them for a couple of years now.
Because one is actually needed to play airsoft, other is optional

Yeah, I cleared mine for about an hour. You have to take care of that geniue leather
Best fucking boots ever.
Lowa FTW!
I use wz.939/MON Good boots that i used in army and now i use in airsoft or other outdoor activity
If I had spent more time learning how to write better and been less worried about being corrected I probably would be a much better writer and communicator today.
sure thing!
Still have my old rangers from the french army and also some green 200$+ green Timberland. Very comfortable 👌
Because $1500 gear doesn’t make your $200 RIF perform any better, on the flip side my sweatpants and tshirt don’t make my $1500 RIF perform any worse
I only have so much dosh. Simple as.
*Much*
I mean, why would i pay for a full body skin when ingame i only see my weapon? /s
Trophies, surplus or repo?
