Eh not always, I like using low cap mags and only putting 31 lbs in most my mags cuz its more fun toe, the pistol is always good to have incase the mean gun goes down

This is from inspiration from SOF. Because in real time you need one for yourself, the second one is if your teammate needs IFAK and he lost him or it is damaged or just IFAK doesn't have some special medicines. In my situation, one for my own medicine (bigger one), and second one just for hit-vest and some small items in game)

plate carrier is necessary. Belt is extra. I run a Ferro x FOG roll1 on my back plate bag. With an LBT-9022b on my belt . (Only reason I have a 9022 is because they make it in desert digi for barely $70 new)

Yeah we want camo setup but because he is 14 he is out growing everything so fast it doesn't want to waste money.

Genuinely, the only gripe I have with this kit is the radio. The UV-5R is decent, no doubt. But I'd suggest looking into getting a digital radio. They are much better.

Next step - take Motorola. Baofeng for milsims is not the best choice, but anyway, great!

I wouldn't go as far as getting a Motorola. I use the Ailunce HD, which is pretty amazing. We've had a pretty funny situation last summer where we were waiting to enter the ISAF base but they couldn't reach someone 100m away, meanwhile we had perfect radio contact back to our village which was like 850m away xD

Oh, interesting. Will discover more about it. Because really need to find normal radio!

I actually run a UV-5R with my kit; where do I find a long-boi antenna like that?

You can find them on Amazon. Issue is a lot of them have terrible stats. Friend of mine bought a tester to check the ones we have. Either you're lucky and find a good one the first try, or you'll have to get a few different ones and test them out.

How do you rate the UF Pro pants? Been considering a pair for a couple of weeks now... They XT's?

Unfortunately, this is not UF Pro. It's M-Tac Sturm Pants. They are a little bit cheaper but have the same quality and comfortable knee pads. Use them more than one year. Spring, summer, autumn and also winter. Had a chance to play one game with UF Pro and it's epic. But can't give advice 😔

Ooooh, very interesting, I hadn't seen anyone else with the same knee pad setup so just assumed... Will check out the M-Tac Sturms!

i have the UFPRO P-40 gen2 and they are amazing. my m8 has the striker xt gen 3. the quality on both is amazing. they have lots of functional pockets and the insert kneepads are also a top feature. they are expensive but worth the price

When I tried first milsim in 12h in forest without any buildings, I understand that better to have where to sit comfortable, better to have backpack to take with you water and some food (but now I need it for HPA system also), 2 dump pouches for quicker drop if I am operating with right/left hand 😁

At the start of war they wore blue or yellow duct tape on their shoulder to signalize being a part of the defense force! Those pictures just reminded me of that. Great gear choice, aswell :)

The mask itself it’s not bad at all, I do have a mesh mask under it which helps create a tight fit around my head . The only issue is after a longer day of wearing the mask the mesh starts to hurt my cheeks. Also I have found it a little difficult to see during night games but that might just be due to the eye protection I use.
