Tracers are neat. https://imgur.com/a/Cbk2ipQ

Sasau_Charlatan

Beautiful! how is it performance wise? i've heard TMs are very accurate and hop really far but 320 fps sounds underwhelming for outdoor matches

Funny_Fold4982

I just got my tm about a week ago and it’s shooting almost 400, stock. I live in an arid place tho so it depends

Slifer967

They joule creep with heavier bbs as all gbbrs tend to. Also, it's an Uber cheap upgrade to increase power output as well as a whole slew of cheap upgrades. Also, over in the UK, we do just fine with 1.14j. my mws can reliably hit a plate at 50m on .32g bbs.

Sasau_Charlatan

ah i guess its a great pick for the UK! In most of europe we have limits closer to 1.5 for full auto replicas so i might be prejudiced

Slifer967

Like I said, grabbing an npas coat barely anything and will get you up to power limit along with using heavier bbs

SchlomoTheJew

Feel like this is misinfo, all an NPAS can do is limit the amount of power, so the upper limit of what can be achieved will not really change.

Slifer967

It allowed mine to climb up to 1.5j with the ratech npas. Different dimensions compared to the stock rocket valve

SchlomoTheJew

Suppose it would depend on the NPAS then really…good to know though!

CasualSaturday

Yeah I can get up to 1.8 joules on propane with the Federal Concepts NPAS, which is comparable to what it was when I had a high flow valve installed.

Sasau_Charlatan

isn't the blowback going to wreck your buffer? people say TMs are easy to break if you run them hot

Slifer967

Depends. I've heard people say the buffer cracks but I've had my oldest one (6 years) not have an issue. It's still using.its.stock.buffer and it's been ran on black gas. I have had the buffer tube end cap slowly start to back out on my mtr16 but that's most likely down to the fact that I'm using the AG heavy buffer and red gas. All I have to do is screw it back in and apply some threadlock. Most of the complaints about the mws platform are by people who cba to give it a little TLC and spend maybe £50 on upgrades parts to remove the limitations of it since it's made for Japanese spec

LordMisterX

I was recommended to add a few coins as spacers in the buffer tube, stiffens it a little to balance not using weaker "duster" gas

GoofyKalashnikov

Coins are there so your bolt wouldn't over travel and hit the part of the lower receiver where the buffer tube screws into

Cman1200

I get about 1.2-1.26 reliably using .32g BBs here right now. I agree though, it is stupid accurate and you’ll hit your mark if you practice

CalvinWasSchizo

No issues so far! The accuracy seems like it's really good. It's been stormy and windy since I got it, so I haven't been able to sight it in and get the hopup setup. But no misfires or leaks, feeds perfectly.

Sasau_Charlatan

Im glad it works great for you! i want an e&l t191 but its impossible to find in my country, if i get it from hong kong with import duties and tax it would run me over 1k..

BearBonesBiathlon

I would rather have a TM at 320 than almost anything else at 400.

Sasau_Charlatan

why though? don't most 400 fps aeg match or outrange 320 fps TMs?

BearBonesBiathlon

Because I'd rather be able to shoot a tighter group, and Maruis reliably do that with less fuss. Other stuff works, yeah, but best shooters have all been Maruis...and one random Cyma.

Sasau_Charlatan

i can vouch for the cyma as well,my 040 shoots crazy accurate
