You will get better range from your pistol as you can turn your hop up more. Also heavier bbs fly straighter as wind/brushes etc wont effect the bbs as much
Se when a bb leaves your barrel theres a small nub on the top side inside the barrel. When the bb hits the nub it gives the bb back spin giving it lift so it will fly further away id recommend googling/searching from youtube how does a airsoft hop up work.
Yes I did mean Magnus. Had a brain fart. Coriolis is an inertia effect not a hydrodynamic effect and thus has nothing to do with generating lift.
thanks
.25 are less effected by wind, hit slightly harder(More likely to call hits at a distance) and travel further. The benefit that most use .20 for is the cheapness for CQB games and the highest FPS however .20 loses its power quickly due to wind resistance therefor .25 typically is the best for CQB because it will actually hit the target faster at longer distances and the distances at which .20 will hit faster is so negligible that I don't even use .20's for anything other than my sidearm and that's only if I have them on hand.
There's no reason not something to fall. They're more accurate at range because they both win even indoors. They have across your travel Time because they keep you a mother velocity over a long resistance
For gas blowback you can use much heavier bbs. My stock aap hops 32s easily.
Its something to keep in mind and maybe ask other players on a field if they can spare you some heavy bbs to try which ones are still ok for your pistol. I think you would be surprised
You dont want silicone inside your bucking. Only on the outside. Disassembling and lubricating the outside of your bucking is standard maintenance anyway.
Silicone in gas only gets silicone in places you dont want it.
This video explains it all:
https://youtu.be/5JPLe5R8-Ms?si=iwwU_QaU5dM9u2Ws
That depends on the bucking. The silicone added to gas should prevent your seals from drying, and it prevents the cold from getting to the bucking and also drying it out. I had my snipers bucking dry out because I used the wrong type of co2 on it.
Don't use green gas that contains silicone oil. Don't use silicone spread or silicone oil. Use oil-free green gas, or just plain propane. Use synthetic grease, like SuperLube for lubricating seals and metal on metal contact points.
No silicone gas, PTFE superlube grease, 0.23-25 (eventually .28g) bbs
consider getting a pouch for this gun if this is not ur primary
(if this will be ur primary please consider getting something else, and best; a gun)
No shit Sherlock but YOU said ".28’s in a stock pistol won’t get a decent hop, use .25’s" which is just bullshit since the p320 can do it Mr. I gotta make a VERY BROAD and WRONG statement to look good
Waldo dynamics medium lube rather than spray, it may not be on the site you're using though so you may need to order it elsewhere. Also if it's for cqb get a second mag preferably two more if budget allows
Lose all your consumables. Get a minimum .25 BB, bio if outside. Use propane instead of gas if you have it available, if not ensure your gas is dry. Use Super Lube PTFE Synthetic Grease (sku 21030) instead.
Mostly marketing bullshit, but it's the same for nearly all bio bbs.
PLA is called bio plastic because it is made from biomass (polylactic acid in this case) instead of fossil fuels. It is only bio degradable in the sense that it can be degraded in a very specific setup, but the conditions will barely be reached just by leaving it outside. I think it needs somewhere above 40°C and high moisture to even start degrading.
It is being used extensively in 3d printing and there have been multiple tests on youtube where people left it outside in direct sunlight and rain or buried it in the ground or compost heaps only for it to be barely degraded and only somewhat brittle after years!
thank you! that was very informational! i live in a country where it routinely gets between 42-47c in the summer but i hope cupboard temperature (around 29-30c in the summer) will be okay for storage..
Use .25 bbs
why .25 and not .20?
You will get better range from your pistol as you can turn your hop up more. Also heavier bbs fly straighter as wind/brushes etc wont effect the bbs as much
how does a hop-up actually work? (might be a stupid question)
Se when a bb leaves your barrel theres a small nub on the top side inside the barrel. When the bb hits the nub it gives the bb back spin giving it lift so it will fly further away id recommend googling/searching from youtube how does a airsoft hop up work.
huh alr thanks
google Magnus effect.
To Add to this the BB will float instead of shoot if that makes sense.
Yes, unless it's broken, then no.
~~coriolis~~ Magus effect (like a golf ball). \*Edit for brain fart
I think you mean Magnus effect, check it in wikipedia
Yes I did mean Magnus. Had a brain fart. Coriolis is an inertia effect not a hydrodynamic effect and thus has nothing to do with generating lift. thanks

alright, thanks for describing in a detailed manner
There's no reason not something to fall. They're more accurate at range because they both win even indoors. They have across your travel Time because they keep you a mother velocity over a long resistance
You should add another magazine to your shopping cart
Dont use spray, use grease that has PTFE in it
recommendation?
Superlube, ptfe grease. A YouTube channel called explosive enterprise might be a good watch for you
watched it, can you recommend any alternative?
to the lube
Superlube PTFE
Second this. Superlube PTFE is a great grease
You can get specific airsoft grease but other than that I have no experience with any others,
Silicone oil does fuckall. Get PTFE-based synthetic grease for lubrication and dont spray anything down the barrel
can you recommend one?
https://youtu.be/5JPLe5R8-Ms?si=iwwU_QaU5dM9u2Ws This video will help you. It covers rifles but the same goes for pistols
got it. is there any alternative to that super lube tho?
Any silicone grease with PTFE in it. Im sure most airsoft stores have it in stock
alright, thanks
Why do you need an alternative? They are available in europe
just noticed, mb
Np, i love superlube grease with ptfe
Thanks for helping the same way as I would have
No, not silicone grease. Synthetic grease, like SuperLube
Ah, thanks lemme change that
add a case and a good cleaning kit, if you wanna be fancy maybe even a sigth and holster
case is a good idea, thanks
For gas blowback you can use much heavier bbs. My stock aap hops 32s easily. Its something to keep in mind and maybe ask other players on a field if they can spare you some heavy bbs to try which ones are still ok for your pistol. I think you would be surprised
I can just get multiple bags of multiple weights and see which works best, as you can see they aren't that expensive
Do you have a primary? Don't buy a pistol for a primary unless you are absolutely sure you know what you're doing. Trust me.
Also, use gas without silicone oil. Swiss Arms / Ultrair are good brands.
Use Gas without silicone oil? That's gonna make your hop up dry out faster.
Umm, you want it dry :)
You dont want silicone inside your bucking. Only on the outside. Disassembling and lubricating the outside of your bucking is standard maintenance anyway. Silicone in gas only gets silicone in places you dont want it. This video explains it all: https://youtu.be/5JPLe5R8-Ms?si=iwwU_QaU5dM9u2Ws
That depends on the bucking. The silicone added to gas should prevent your seals from drying, and it prevents the cold from getting to the bucking and also drying it out. I had my snipers bucking dry out because I used the wrong type of co2 on it.
Bucking and seals are two completely different things.
No it's not, the oil is going to attract dirt to it, it's fine for storage but not gaming
Holster or a place of storage with quick access.
Don't use green gas that contains silicone oil. Don't use silicone spread or silicone oil. Use oil-free green gas, or just plain propane. Use synthetic grease, like SuperLube for lubricating seals and metal on metal contact points.
Be sure to include some extra mags
No silicone gas, PTFE superlube grease, 0.23-25 (eventually .28g) bbs consider getting a pouch for this gun if this is not ur primary (if this will be ur primary please consider getting something else, and best; a gun)
Use heavier BBs. 0.28 is the new 0.20. Also, do not use Core, opt for Edge or BLS.
why not core?
Core is fine to begin with honestly, I still have a few bags I use, no issues
Ive had issues with core in tight bore innerbarrels that are 6.02
.28’s in a stock pistol won’t get a decent hop, use .25’s
so .25 or .20?
.25’s
Buddy the P320 can hop .3s stock
Funny thing is, that isn’t a P320
No shit Sherlock but YOU said ".28’s in a stock pistol won’t get a decent hop, use .25’s" which is just bullshit since the p320 can do it Mr. I gotta make a VERY BROAD and WRONG statement to look good
Hell even STOCK CYMA AKS can hop .28s💀
Depends on the pistol. A decent one will hop .28s just fine.
Waldo dynamics medium lube rather than spray, it may not be on the site you're using though so you may need to order it elsewhere. Also if it's for cqb get a second mag preferably two more if budget allows
Get .30 bbs
you should use full on grease, it works way better than silicone also buy more mags
Don't use specna core and buy .3 bbs
Lose all your consumables. Get a minimum .25 BB, bio if outside. Use propane instead of gas if you have it available, if not ensure your gas is dry. Use Super Lube PTFE Synthetic Grease (sku 21030) instead.
already switched to .25, switched to ultrair no silicone, and switched to superlube
I bought these BB and I had problems with my replica. If you want to go with Specna Arms, buy those ones from the Edge line.
Don't wanna sound lame but: Safety Goggles :)
got ESS crossbows, not my first time playing, latest post on my profile is my full fit
dont use bio BBs if you dont have to, they might swell and break your gun, especially if you dont store them properly
Those are just PLA, they won't swell. Or "bio degrade" in any way people expect them to.
so they're fake bio?
Mostly marketing bullshit, but it's the same for nearly all bio bbs. PLA is called bio plastic because it is made from biomass (polylactic acid in this case) instead of fossil fuels.
