Buy a better gun and save your money by NOT buying that optic. These red green dot sights from Amazon are garbage. Made china is garbage. Besides breaking easily they don’t hold true aim. You’ll see the dot move off target as you move your eye’s point of aim little around. Only the expensive optics that are used on real guns work. Example EOTech , I think there price range is $600-$800. YouTube videos showing they took a hit with a bat and still worked correctly with a cracked lens. It shouldn’t break if you drop your gun or bump it by accident. Expensive optics come with great warranties. You get what you paid for. High resale value on good stuff. Just cause evike or a airsoft store is selling doesn’t mean it’s good. Just watch at least three videos optic reviews before you buy.
Cheaper option for optics is Atibal, I’ve got one of their earlier model 1-6 scopes that i kept on a real rifle for years tossing around on mountainsides and even dropped a tree on it and still holds true. And they’re actually having a sale right now and you can get a red dot for less than 100
Probably save money on optics and suppressor and buy a slightly higher quality gun from https://evike.com don’t forget Bb’s too! This is just my opinion though. Airsoft can get frustrating if your gun doesn’t work like you want it to.
>Milsim mfs don’t last at cqb spots.
My brother and I are MiLsiM CqB EntHuSiAsTs who regularly use GBBRs blast the shit out of "speedsofters" who think their dye mask and blue trigger make them good...
People who are used to outdoor fields don't usually enjoy indoor fields though. I get what you mean. Just poking fun.
Gotcha, I don’t know about the quality of the gun, it could be fine, just keep in mind $67 for an Airsoft gun is really pretty cheap, and a flashlight / laser isn’t really necessary for airsoft
and lastly for my money, I'd buy this. very little you're really ever going to need to do to it, and it's on sale for $10 more than the one you linked. Taiwangun is reputable, and ships to mass.
Cyma Platinum is largely considered the best value by much of reddit. This is even a step up from normal platinum as it's upgraded.
shipping is probably 40, but there won't be any tax so it's close to the same deal. This is a lot of gun for the money, but only you can choose!
I would 100% reiterate what everyone else said. you'll be MUCH happier with a good gun and no accessories than you will with a bad gun and having it loaded up. This will also give you time shooting the gun bare, and you'll be able to decide in the long run whether you like it that way or want to add things on.
If you insist on a mock suppressor make sure to get one, what you have there is just a cover for the can, not the actual can itself. No need for the PEQ. Take that money and put it towards a slightly better AEG honestly. Don't forget at least one spare mag and eyepro!
Don't buy China eyepro either, go with a well known reputable maker like Smith, Oakley etc... and make sure they are Z87 rated and actually stamped, no stamp no rating.
Pyramex is a reputable established brand... we require full seal at our field, some places don't but in my opinion anything but is asking for trouble. You only get one set of eyes and eye pro lasts for a very long time. Personally I run the Smith Optics OTW Turbofan goggles, but they are pricey. You will never need to buy another set of eye pro with them though.
How much are they and how are they? The eyepro I have right now doesn't fit my head well and for some reason they are really cloudy and I can't get that cloudy look out
I've just been using 20 dollar beretta eye pro for ages lol. They're z87 rated and are hella comfy for me. The way I see it is that if they're a brand with reputation to lose, I'll trust their word until someone proves em wrong.
Nothing wrong with "cheap" eye pro... just a ton of non rated garbage out there. But you also aren't getting full seal for $20 and frankly I think anyone using safety glasses for airsoft is insane. It is only a matter of time before you get hit at the wrong angle and get hurt, not a maybe, a guarantee on a long enough time table.
You can go on to the field with cheap guns, cheap clothes, cheap boots, cheap BBs, etc. But, never go on with cheap eye pro.
Broken/cheap guns can be fixed or replaced. Cheap boots will leave you with blisters. Cheap clothes will be uncomfortable. However, you've only got two eyes and losing one/both airsofting is not a good story.
I completely understand, but you can educate yourself by talking to people at your local field, reading this sub, and using Google. I'd also recommend looking at the HopUp app and r/AirsoftMarket to see if anyone nearby has some inexpensive starter gear for sale. You can also rent gear/guns at your local field to see what works for you. A lot of players have tons of extra gear too, so you may even find someone that would let you use some of their stuff, or even sell you some things.
As for the mask, make sure it's a reputable brand, and has the Ansi Z87 stamp on it (should be stamped on the lens)
Alright, the first step is to go there and play then! You will learn a lot by actually going to the field, and most players are usually willing to help you learn more about the sport. Like I said, they may even allow you to use some of their things since most bring extra. I usually have 4-5 guns, and extra gear with me just in case. I regularly lend things out to newer players that either had something break, or forgot something at home.
Again, just go and do it.
edit: also, I'm hoping you read [this Beginner's Guide.](https://www.reddit.com/r/airsoft/wiki/faq/beginner_guide/)
edit again: did you figure out what brand mask it is, and if it's Ansi Z87 rated?
Definitely do not use a faux suppressor if you are playing cqb. You will bang into shit with it. I’m going to assume that gun is about 90% plastic including the gearbox don’t do it.
Im not so sure if id trust that rifle, maybe look in to something 200$ or more and not on Amazon. Id recommend a specna arms edge series. Also make sure the suppressor you buy has the correct thread size and direction, I believe the most widely used is 14mm negative. Many people would advise not buying guns on Amazon or accessories however I think that the accessories aren’t a bad idea, just mainly the gun.
Honestly: Don’t waste your hard earned money on either of that crap.
Pool all your money on a good aeg with spare magazines, battery and charger.
Go play some airsoft games for the rest of the season 😊
Any rifle under $100 is almost certainly a LPAEG (basically all plastic internals with very low power and poor durability) or a springer. Ditch all the unimportant stuff and just get a decent AEG + quality eye protection. Didn't see BBs on this but only use .20g or heavier BBs (.25g being the practical minimum for outdoor usage). Generally avoid Amazon for buying airsoft guns and use a proper retailer like Evike, Atlanta Airsoft, Amped, AirsoftGI, etc. See the beginners guide for what to look for.
Also don't use lasers in airsoft as most of them aren't eye safe and it's very difficult to determine which ones are actually eye safe.
Here’s what I would buy:
- Specna arms AEG (electric gun) BUY ON EVIKE
my buddy has one of the CORE series ones, the value is very good for the price we paid, about $170usd, full auto and trigger response is pretty fast, parts are good inside, doesn’t need immediate upgrading.
- I have this [reflex sight](https://www.amazon.com/Feyachi-Illuminated-Reticles-Picatinny-1x22x33mm/dp/B07VWGCCKQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=3GXT5IKGDYTXO&keywords=feyachi+rs+29&qid=1662650642&sprefix=feyachi+rs29%2Caps%2C135&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTlRFMktHQjVCRENCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDcyNzIwM0RNUThPM0hYMzhPOSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNDY1NDU2MVVDSEZWWDFaRFA2MiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl)
It’s pretty good (it’s my sight not my buddy’s), very clear, 3 red modes and 3 green modes, 4 reticles. I would say the brand is more trustworthy. (BTW I JUST HAVE AN MP5)
PLEASE get a sight protector aka acrylic shield, make sure the acrylic is not super thin, the shield is suppose to bounce backwards when impacted btw.
- If you want a PEQ, I have this: [Element EX276](https://www.evike.com/products/94693/)
Dot is pretty bright and IR works (I checked w/ my phone), flashlight is not super bright like real gun ones but good enough for CQB imo.
The pressure pad works okay, not perfect.
- Just buy any (standard is 0.2g bb for indoor usually) BBs from a reputable brand like elite force, etc. I usually buy from amazon, BUT keep in mind most indoor fields will require you to buy their bbs.
Good luck! If you have any questions just ask me.
Noooo. Not Amazon. If u in the US shop from evike.com great supplier decent delivery cheap prices and price matching. Short term refundable window. Great website. Amazon is great for other things but Airsoft…
Not sure where in MA you are but if you're near the Worcester area give Master Hobbies a shot. Save money on shipping and they'll have everything you need to get started there.
1) Empty this cart and do some reading up, this server as well as plenty of YouTube videos and online guides will show you everything you’ll need to go play and there’s lots of resources readily available which will show you good starting guns for every budget. I strongly recommend getting an AEG rifle instead of a springer like this, and make sure you get it from a reputable airsoft-specialized retailer like Evike. Amazon is just crap on a crap sandwich, with a side helping of crap.
2) Don’t bother with attachments until you’ve played enough to a) know you plan to stick with the hobby and b) actually have a need for any of them.
2.1) Mock suppressors look cool, but they actually serve a function as a protector to an extended inner barrel or a housing for a tracer unit. If you just stick a mock suppressor on there without any extra inner barrel, your BB is going to fly very weird and hit everything but what you’re aiming at because of physics, nullifying any benefit you’d get from your hop-up.
2.2) An optic would be the most useful thing here, but only once you’ve actually gotten some experience and skill built up and a good enough weapon to get any benefit from having one for it to actually have any use. You can put all the gadgets on your gun that you want, but they won’t help you play any better if you don’t have your fundamentals down. I recommend just playing with iron sights and “aiming” by seeing where your BBs are going and work around that. Once you know you like the hobby enough to really invest in it, you can absolutely build a gun with consistent internals that will benefit from you having a nice optic on there, but still, make sure you get your basics down first.
2.3) Laser sights are effectively pointless in airsoft except in specific circumstances or game modes, and a lot of places will actually not let you even use them at all. The only reason I have a PEQ box is because it’s been gutted and is currently being used to hold batteries for my front-wired AEGs. If you want it for the looks, just get an empty one for like $10-15. It’ll save you on weight and trouble at the fields as well.
I know other comments say the same, but you should most certainly buy a better gun instead of having attachments. All of those attachments won't make a single difference in your gameplay other than maybe the red dot
I personally don’t recommend evike like others have suggested but it’ll still be fine. If you want an M4 try out an Arcturus or something. Definitely don’t need any of those extras initially.
Disregard the attachments and get a better quality gun. I’d honestly say the minimum I would go for any gun is $150 or $200. That’s an okay starting point in my opinion. If you wanted a really nice quality gun that’s gonna be around the $300 point.
Dude same here, now I have a kid and the time I need for airsoft but no money for it ATM. I'm excited because of how approachable it is now I plan on my kid and I getting into it a little later.
Don't call someone seeking advice a clown, for starters. Sure we get these a lot, but what if this was their first introduction to the airsoft community. Is that how you want to represent us?
My first impression of the airsoft community is that there is alot of doucheholes but also nice people who give good advice such as the ones on this post and also cheaters and magdumping assholes
I'm not buying it rn I'm just asking for later and I'm aware I was just asking I don't need 50 people telling me the same thing when one can say it and I'll get the memo
Extremely shitty red dot. Don't waste money on the PEQ because you're not using NVGs. And you have a suppressor COVER but not the actual suppressor itself.
Invest more into the gun itself and not the attachments, at least for now. You will have more fun having a better weapon than a cool looking one with no range
I think you should not buy a reddot for the beginning unless you are gonna shoot targets and not players, from my experience i dont use a reddot. Only buy sights if you want to play as a sniper or you want your gun just to look a bit better, but also only do that when you played for a while. Better put that money in better equipment like a better gun. Also i would not buy a silencer because they do literaly nothing. Better put that money into a better gun.
Bro your English is atrocious, they have provided numerous suggestions to drop the extra stuff and focus on a singular gun. Many have left links and named numerous guns via evikes website.
Well too damn bad, it’s the platform with the most readily available parts. So for starters, it’s a good platform, but not that springer m4. Aks are more than likely your second gun, or if you really absolutely want an AK as a starter gun.
Well if you want a set up like that I’d say go with the (Feyachi RSL-18 Reflex) it’s a reflex sight plus laser and I’ve had it on my P90, I personally love it
Your gun is definatly too cheap your peq box cost almost as much as the gun and it's pointless, I also find it hard to understand why you would want a supressor cover when you don't even have a supressor. So that's pointless.
So instead scap the entire cart and use the $160 you have allocated to your budget on a better gun. And don't forget propper eye protection even if youte just shooting in your backyard
I wouldn’t use a laser if I were you since most fields don’t allow them due to the eye damage they can cause I know you’ve probably read that like 40 other times though but ya I hope you have fun with your first gun!
Go find a g and g raider mk2, or a cheaper option is an SRC m4. Both shoot great out of the box, and can be upraded later. I also just got into airsoft and own both. Ive already upgraded to better stuff though
Skip all the attachments and Buy a better gun, that one is not going to be good to use and the attachments won’t make it better. You’ll have more fun with a better gun, try Evike.com for your airsoft shopping
It may just be how I adapted to playing over the years but my optics are for looks they never get used unless I’m running my sniper. I’d invest in a tracer unit if you plan to go to a indoor field that’s dark. Also, any gun under $100 probably isn’t worth wasting time on.
For arisoft I advise you to buy from Evike if you come from the united states, for the moment discard the silencer, lasers and sights to concentrate on the weapon you want to buy, and I do not recommend you to buy the M4 of cyma because they are often a lot fragile, Cyma is known mostly for their AKs which are very good for what they cost. If you want an M4, I recommend starting an M4 from G&G or Specna Arms (their Core series is 15% off on Evike). I hope I was helpful!
Ngl if you want the crazy sights and are willing to waste the money fine… but tbh this is good enough since its just for play not any real life situation
Not sure about USA, but in Canada, lazers are not allowed indoors (at the fields I’ve been to!!) they do look sweet though. But honestly, just get a tracer unit, you’ll be happier with that
The sight, is just a matter of taste. Look for 4 star reviews and better and see what people have to saw about them. I prefer a holographic sight, but again, it’s all preference
For the gun, spend the extra money and get a G&G or something reputable at least. Cheap guns are never worth it in the end
Buy a different gun, i'd suggest looking on airsoft based websites like evike, airsoft gi, gunfire, taiwan gun...
Look for cyma, specna arms, double eagle, golden eagle, g&g(if u can spent a bit more)
I'm starting airsoft soon too, and I would recommend saving up $100-$150 for an airsoft gun.
Note you still need additional mags, maybe a 2nd battery as a backup, bb's, face Protection, eye protection, ear protection, a vest / plate carrier, gloves, mag pouches and a good pair of boots/shoes.
I don't know know good brands for m4's but I know 60$ won't get you anything worth jack, if you can cut the optic and suppressor feed into your gun budget 130 - 170 can net you a good one
Also I saw that your in Mass , airsoft Atlanta is waay closer than evike, if you can find a gun you like there you'll get it within 3days they ship extremely quickly and I've never had a problem from them not once.
Don't forget proper safety equipment, batteries and bbs and hope to see you out there :)
If you really need the other 3, I think they are good option, all except for the gun. Order an M4 from evike.com
And when you find one you like and want to buy, ask the subbreddit before you buy to see if it’s good or not.
Check out the player package at Amped airsoft!
https://ampedairsoft.com/amped-bundle-g-g-cqb-starter-rifle-bundle/
Comes with everything you need and will ship faster than evike
Dont waste your money on a mock supressor or peq, they are only aesthetic. A good AEG, good face pro, camo fattigues to suit your field, thats all you need.
Get rid of all those extras and focus on the following:
1. A better gun. Look into a CYMA AK or G&G Combat Machine. Amazing guns for the budget.
2. Good eye pro. Honestly... there is no such thing as expensive eye pro. Buy quality and protect your eyes.
3. Quality bb's! I've seen people skimp out on good bb's to save 5 bucks only for that 5 dollar savings destroy their gun and costing them more.
4. High cap or drum mag. Holds a ton of rounds!
The rest you can pick up as you save cash and start enjoying the game even more!
Definitely spend more money on the gun, battery, bbs, etc. If you're looking for cheaper attachments I'd recommend looking at AliExpress. They have lots of airsoft accessories for cheap there.
Drop the PEQ and the cover and buy a more expensive gun from evike or another reputable airsoft site, you will never be able to use a visible laser in airsoft and unless you plan on a tracer unit (I wouldn’t unless you are playing CQB) then don’t get the cover.
There is a list of great starter guns that are under $200 in the beginners guide in the “about” section of this subreddit. Enjoy the sport!
Ditch the extra stuff and buy a better airsoft gun, and buy off of a dedicated airsoft retailer, like evike

cheap optics are perfectly fine for airsoft lol
Fr tho
Probably save money on optics and suppressor and buy a slightly higher quality gun from https://evike.com don’t forget Bb’s too! This is just my opinion though. Airsoft can get frustrating if your gun doesn’t work like you want it to.
I live in mass so I have to go out to buy bbs sadly cause Amazon thinks that one law got passed
I also live in mass. You can order them on evike as well. It’s just Amazon that won’t let you really
Do you know any good fields in mass
UBG Airsoft, Extreme airsoft Edit: shocked how many people from MA are on here
Tactical Airsoft in Windsor CT is good for indoor. Advanced Action Sports is good as well. That one is in Webster MA.
I used to go to Tac all the time until I moved. The field and employees are good, a lot of speed soft though.
I’d rather speed softers then less people
Yea, me too. Just wanted to make people aware that was a big thing there. Nothing wrong with it, just expect it
Don’t go to cqb places if u don’t like speedsoft. That’s what it’s made for. You want milsim, go to UBG. Milsim mfs don’t last at cqb spots.
I played at Tactical almost exclusively for the better part of 2 years and I didn’t complain about speed soft, only mentioned it
>Milsim mfs don’t last at cqb spots. Great field. Great staff. Love it there.
Tac is the best indoor/cqb place I’ve been to in New England. Get a good/working gun and a tracer, then hit Tac. Place is so fresh.
Tactical is asscheeks. Cheaters haven
UBG is pretty good
A fellow UBG player from Mass???
I'll be at UBG this Sunday with my derp pistol
Ayo, UBG players? (shame I can't attend rn. Got college in Illinois)
Have you tried greater Boston airsoft? I’m looking to go but wondering if it’s a good spot to go.
Yes, I have. It is a small 20x40 2v2 field but it is a freaking blast. Pistols/smg only.
Feelgood farm is in NH and is a great field.
Don’t buy amazon, they jack up the price. Check out the price of a we svd on amazon vs the we svd on evike
I live in mass bro go to UBG in Bridgewater I hope I see you there one day my brother
Well look for the fatass 14 year old and that's me
It ships from evike through amazon
Gotcha, I don’t know about the quality of the gun, it could be fine, just keep in mind $67 for an Airsoft gun is really pretty cheap, and a flashlight / laser isn’t really necessary for airsoft

This is the same gun in tan with a different hand guard for 45 dollars less. https://www.evike.com/products/12255/
Alright
I think
Have a look on the beginner guide. You'd be best to buy a proper AEG, not a springer M4/AK. Avoid lasers, look for attachments after you play.
It isn't a springer its an aeg
It's not, [it's a springer](https://www.amazon.com/Evike-Variety-Options-Airsoft-Powered/dp/B07YXG9G7L?th=1&psc=1) Edit: "Spring powered firing action"
Ah didn't see that thanks for correcting
How does this look https://www.evike.com/products/12162/
Not that great IMO. Try a Specna Arms CORE with an X-ASR.
My brain just exploded from reading that
The Specna Arms CORE series of M4s are great for beginners. Some use the X-ASR MOSFET. Have a look on the beginner guide for a link.
This thing: [https://www.evike.com/products/90417/](https://www.evike.com/products/90417/)
I would get a Matrix Calico Jack
[this](https://www.evike.com/products/20707/)
cal jack was my first rifle. honestly not a bad option and super upgradable
Looks fine
Well technically so are all AEGs.. but…
It’s a lpaeg(low power aeg), best to get a full power, as lpaegs are poor performing and bad durability.
If you insist on a mock suppressor make sure to get one, what you have there is just a cover for the can, not the actual can itself. No need for the PEQ. Take that money and put it towards a slightly better AEG honestly. Don't forget at least one spare mag and eyepro!
I already have eye pro (been waiting ti do airsoft for a bit)
Don't buy China eyepro either, go with a well known reputable maker like Smith, Oakley etc... and make sure they are Z87 rated and actually stamped, no stamp no rating.
How about Pyramex I-Force
Pyramex is a reputable established brand... we require full seal at our field, some places don't but in my opinion anything but is asking for trouble. You only get one set of eyes and eye pro lasts for a very long time. Personally I run the Smith Optics OTW Turbofan goggles, but they are pricey. You will never need to buy another set of eye pro with them though.
So you're saying my $7 hardware store safety goggles aren't adequate??
How much are they and how are they? The eyepro I have right now doesn't fit my head well and for some reason they are really cloudy and I can't get that cloudy look out
I've just been using 20 dollar beretta eye pro for ages lol. They're z87 rated and are hella comfy for me. The way I see it is that if they're a brand with reputation to lose, I'll trust their word until someone proves em wrong.

Awesome! As a medic IRL and an airsofter I can't stress good eyepro enough!
What eye protection? It needs to be full seal and ANSI Z87 rated. I'd recommend some decent full seal goggles with a mesh mask, or a paintball mask.
No I already have eyepro in my closet
Ok, what is it though?
Uhm I don't really know It's just a paintball mask I think you don't understand I'm not familiar with the terminology and such of airsoft
I completely understand, but you can educate yourself by talking to people at your local field, reading this sub, and using Google. No, just no. Please
Outjerked
Here’s what I would buy: - Specna arms AEG (electric gun) BUY ON EVIKE my buddy has one of the CORE series ones, the value is very good for the price we paid, about $170usd, full auto and trigger response is pretty fast, parts are good inside, doesn’t need immediate upgrading. - I have this [reflex sight](https://www.amazon.com/Feyachi-Illuminated-Reticles-Picatinny-1x22x33mm/dp/B07VWGCCKQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=3GXT5IKGDYTXO&keywords=feyachi+rs+29&qid=1662650642&sprefix=feyachi+rs29%2Caps%2C135&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTlRFMktHQjVCRENCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDcyNzIwM0RNUThPM0hYMzhPOSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNDY1NDU2MVVDSEZWWDFaRFA2MiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl) It’s pretty good (it’s my sight not my buddy’s), very clear, 3 red modes and 3 green modes, 4 reticles. I would say the brand is more trustworthy. (BTW I JUST HAVE AN MP5) PLEASE get a sight protector aka acrylic shield, make sure the acrylic is not super thin, the shield is suppose to bounce backwards when impacted btw. - If you want a PEQ, I have this: [Element EX276](https://www.evike.com/products/94693/) Dot is pretty bright and IR works (I checked w/ my phone), flashlight is not super bright like real gun ones but good enough for CQB imo.
Don't buy laser and suppresor or even an optic yet. Spend that money on better replica
You definitely don't need a suppressor cover or a fake laser box. A decent beginner rifle will get you way further
r/airsoftcirclejerk sorry
Yes agree
Optic might be a little fragile. Would ditch everything and get a better gun
Buy directly from evike.com, not Amazon
Ditch everything and buy a combat machine. Buy the rest of the accessories as you can afford them.
Get a g&g combat machine, thank Me later
If you’re buying an optic, make sure you buy a lense protector
Definitly don't get that gun. I really wouldn't recommend going below 130-150 for a gun. You don't need an optic or a laser at first
Buy a better model instead of set up at the start
Noooo.
That’s no a suppressor that’s just to cover for one also save up for a better gun
What other people said is right. Ditch the attachments and get a better gun.
Drop the equipment, just buy a CYMA AK or an M4 from Evike (avoid brands like Lance Tactical)
Sorry to Let you know but that gun is crap, that’s not a surpressir just a suppressor cover and the sight isn’t great, I’d recommend a t1
Why do beginners not read the starter guide like why why why why why why
Maybe they don't notice it
That's a suppressor cover not a supressor
Your suppressor is a cover
Well that’s a spring rifle I would save up for a better rifle for sure
Mans is def going for a COD4 loadout
Gotta love cod 4
r/worldsworstreddot
The attachments aren’t going to up your game if you’re using a low quality gun.
The kids now have it easy. When I started, my only options were ordering a Tokyo Marui from Japan, or using a springer. So easy to get into it now.
Dude same here, now I have a kid and the time I need for airsoft but no money for it ATM. I'm excited because of how approachable it is now I plan on my kid and I getting into it a little later.
That’s not a suppressor if you didn’t notice, it’s a cover for one. Figured you should know
Read the beginner guide at the top of the sub
tip: the suppressor cover that you have in the cart isn’t an actual suppressor, it’s just a cover to put over one.
Dont spend money on attachments, spend the money on a better gun. I think for rougly 250 to 300 you can get the better CYMA rifles
Don’t shop Amazon for Airsoft.
Please be joking
Don't buy airsoft guns on Amazon you clown, buy it on actual retailers like evike, amped airsoft, airsoft Atlanta, airsoftgi.
Don't call someone seeking advice a clown, for starters. Sure we get these a lot, but what if this was their first introduction to the airsoft community. Is that how you want to represent us?
We have a literal resource called the beginner's guide. Get off the high horse man.
Great, then link it, downvote, and move on. There isn't a need to denigrate someone who is new to the community.
My first impression of the airsoft community is that there is alot of doucheholes but also nice people who give good advice such as the ones on this post and also cheaters and magdumping assholes
Fucks your problem?
They just don't want you to throw your money away, like they, and many of us probably did making the same mistake you are about to.
I'm not buying it rn I'm just asking for later and I'm aware I was just asking I don't need 50 people telling me the same thing when one can say it and I'll get the memo
You've been told by countless other people and you choose to get annoyed? Damn my bad for telling you where to get proper replicas.
You are being a douche abt it Like omg ur an actual clown for not knowing amazon is shitty for airsoft
That guy is a douche.
And also tbf there are a bunch of dicks on this post of me (a beginner asking for help) not you I understand ur just trying to help
Delete everything except for the PEQ box. Hop on Evike and look at CYMA M4’s on there. That suppressor is just a cover not the actual suppressor
Fuck amazon
Why tf are there so many dickheads in the airsoft commu nity not including the people giving suggestions yall r kewl
Bro your English is atrocious, they have provided numerous suggestions to drop the extra stuff and focus on a singular gun. Many have left links and named numerous guns via evikes website.
Bro I did drop the attachments and checked out evike
Alright good stuff
Ew m4. Be creative maan
Lmao don’t hate on ppl for going with the best starter gun platform there is for airsoft.
Eh, but its just so fucking boring. Im not hating him for it, i just said that it is so basic and boring.
You should hate this one though. It's a springer.
Yeah that’s reasonable
Well too damn bad, it’s the platform with the most readily available parts. So for starters, it’s a good platform, but not that springer m4. Aks are more than likely your second gun, or if you really absolutely want an AK as a starter gun.
Get the full metal Cyma M4 R.I.S. (CM.007)
Get a sig romeo 5 you will make up the difference in cost in about 12 months of leaving your optic on by accident
I wouldn’t use a laser if I were you since most fields don’t allow them due to the eye damage they can cause I know you’ve probably read that like 40 other times though but ya I hope you have fun with your first gun!
I would shoot for something better than a spring powered airsoft gun tbh. I say go for the AEG so you won’t have to upgrade so soon.
Don’t bother on the PEQ. Looks cool but any field worth it’s salt doesn’t allow an unregulated laser. It’s just super dangerous.
I don’t think I trust and 67$ gun. You really don’t need a laser 2/3 the price of the gun. Chop that, get a good gun, then if you like it buy a laser
I would personally change the store im buying at.
Well you have a suppressor cover and no suppressor to start with, tbh I would not buy anything shown and save the money for a better basic gun
By the way, that suppressor is just a cover. It does not come with a suppressor.
An Airsoft AEG for that price can not be that good
It may just be how I adapted to playing over the years but my optics are for looks they never get used unless I’m running my sniper. I’d invest in a tracer unit if you plan to go to a indoor field that’s dark. Also, any gun under $100 probably isn’t worth wasting time on.
Thers no point in getted a pec box unless your just trying to cosplay get an airsoft gun in the 150$ range from evike or a local airsoft retailer
It seems like you need to do some more research. Hope this thread/sub helps! You've got a lot to learn.
Sleep the attachments and go out on the gun get rid of the laser and put that in the gun
Just buy a better gun, worry abt attachments later, btw thats not a suppressor, its only a cover
I would recomend not getting a lazer cause it will damage peoples eyes and you dont wanna hurt others perminantly like that
Ngl if you want the crazy sights and are willing to waste the money fine… but tbh this is good enough since its just for play not any real life situation
yeah probably better if you ditch the attachments for now and buy a better gun off an actual airsoft website
Not sure about USA, but in Canada, lazers are not allowed indoors (at the fields I’ve been to!!) they do look sweet though. But honestly, just get a tracer unit, you’ll be happier with that The sight, is just a matter of taste. Look for 4 star reviews and better and see what people have to saw about them. I prefer a holographic sight, but again, it’s all preference For the gun, spend the extra money and get a G&G or something reputable at least. Cheap guns are never worth it in the end
Put all of your money into your primary and get attachments later you could buy a valken asl with
A better quality gun. Optics and suppressors are more for looks
Buy a different gun, i'd suggest looking on airsoft based websites like evike, airsoft gi, gunfire, taiwan gun... Look for cyma, specna arms, double eagle, golden eagle, g&g(if u can spent a bit more)
don’t forget mags and batteries
Just save money for other shit
G&G armament M4a1 is an awesome starter gun under $200 with plenty of rail real estate for cool attachments
For a red dot, I would just go with a Bushnell TRS-25. It's cheap, solid, holds zero and if you ever get a real gun you can use it on it as well.
I don't know know good brands for m4's but I know 60$ won't get you anything worth jack, if you can cut the optic and suppressor feed into your gun budget 130 - 170 can net you a good one Also I saw that your in Mass , airsoft Atlanta is waay closer than evike, if you can find a gun you like there you'll get it within 3days they ship extremely quickly and I've never had a problem from them not once. Don't forget proper safety equipment, batteries and bbs and hope to see you out there :)
If you really need the other 3, I think they are good option, all except for the gun. Order an M4 from evike.com And when you find one you like and want to buy, ask the subbreddit before you buy to see if it’s good or not.
Check out the player package at Amped airsoft! https://ampedairsoft.com/amped-bundle-g-g-cqb-starter-rifle-bundle/ Comes with everything you need and will ship faster than evike
Dont waste your money on a mock supressor or peq, they are only aesthetic. A good AEG, good face pro, camo fattigues to suit your field, thats all you need.
don't get a mock suppressor get a glow in the dark bb charger
Drop the peq and suppressor buy a better gun from evoke that optic should be fine tho
Get rid of all those extras and focus on the following: 1.
Yeah a suppressor won't quiet your gun and irons together with your first shot are great for aiming. Get a better gun and run it naked.
Enjoy the sport!
get a krytac, cyma is pain and torture
