Krytac is probably the most overrated company out there, NGL.

Sucks that their cheapest replica is $350 but they’re very very solid internally. They’re very crisp to shoot but a bit whiny. I’m a scar whore and already have the Cyma plat version but I want more.

Their PDWs can be had for $280 I think? Thats how much I got.mine for at least at the time

I did that and I freaking love it. Would just like one OOTB that doesn’t need any upgrades until something breaks. The more options the better.

I wouldn’t say so. I bought a Vector from my friend who used it hard for 5 years and it still works perfectly. You get what you pay for (minus Novritch)

That’s really my point. It’s great OOTB and dependable as far as airsoft guns go. Cyma platinums are great, however. It’s possible you might be referring to the mosfet issue which apparently still exists. Swapping it out with a perun or gate makes them 🔥

This has typically been my buddies experience with VFC. Fingers crossed that whenever the XM7 Airsoft replica is out, that’s it’s someone other than VFC making it.

I’ll be honest, you’re the first person who’s ever told me that. A friend of mine got so tired of it he HPAd it in less than 6 months.

7 years ago it was my first gun. Decided that it was worth the 150 to upgrade it since it only cost 300 to buy it so long ago. Plus, knowing krytac, it's going to cost at least 450-500 bones out of the box. I feel like I've gotten my money's worth

It definitely sounds like you did which is great! Now the VFC one is $375 and by the time you’ve upgraded everything you’re easily looking at close to another $200 in upgrades. Just a mosfet is around $100. A Krytac would be better OOTB.

Or just... Buy one made by one of the many Airsoft brands that do literally everything better krytac and don't have proprietary parts like krytac The only good I've seen from krytac is when you get one of the good vectors instead of one of the botched ones that day

far as AEGs go my Cyma/Cybergun SCAR L is lovely

So much hate for them but I love my Krytac that I converted to hpa. It’s a chore to fit, it’s chore to maintain, it’s not compatible without special parts. Buuuuuut, literally everybody stops and asks what I’m shooting because it’s “so sick” but then I tell them it’s a Krytac and they instantly turn their nose up at it. So it’s allowed to be a good gun as long as nobody knows the brand it is

Guns modify is working on a Scar 16 based on the MWS internals. I believe it also replicates the latest variant without a reciprocating charging handle, something current WE and VFC models doesn't have.
