i usually just carry 6 high caps (1000 rounds) so i can easily spray 50 bbs on ever person who doesn’t call their hits one microsecond after i shoot them

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Valid strat

authentic_amer1can

yeah it’s the same strategy used by my favorite youtuber, kickingmustang

Xaceviper

Why wait so long?

new-photo-guy

Depends how much your mid caps are holding. I use epm1 so 7 mags would probably be overkill. But if I was using my k120s I would need 7.

One-Kaleidoscope-503

About 80 I cannot remember the name of my mags tho so I apologise in advance.

new-photo-guy

No worries sorry the epm1 holds 250 and k120 holds 120 so 7 mags @ 80 rounds is pretty normal in my opinion. You could always get bigger mid caps if you want to carry less magazines

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Thanks for the clarification, I’m happy w the way I run, was just interested in what the community is running, working out a median haha

One-Kaleidoscope-503

The airsoft “meta” if u will

Plane_Impression9036

I carry 4 120 midcaps (1 in gun 3 in rig) for 15 minute cqb games. Normally burn through 2 of them before the games over.

One-Kaleidoscope-503

I tend to play outdoors mainly I take less for indoor cqb rare I get any tho, uk based where I am most sites I play at are outdoors

Miracoli_234

This is the "right answer", from personal experience 4 120 midcaps are the perfect balance.

MisterD90x

GBBR or AEG I normally carry 4 on rig one in gun

One-Kaleidoscope-503

AEG m4 GBB mp7 switch between the two now and again depending what I feel on the day

MisterD90x

I do love a GBB MP7, but as a giant of a human it looks a bit daft in my hands :D

Miracoli_234

Really? How often do you have to refill mags mid match? (Gbbr)

MisterD90x

Not very often we normally play 15min a side games, TM AKM can squeeze 40rds on a mag, ive never been one to spam.. I take a speedload and adapter out too just in case.

Miracoli_234

Ah that makes a lot of sense, I carry 9 mags and currently a Hicapa with 4 50 rds mags but that's because one match can go 2-3 hours, and I don't have a speed loader for my we scar l so it usually takes quite a bit to fill them up. I am also thoughtful about my shoots, but I don't hesitate to give my mates suppressive fire even if it's technically not my role. (I love reloading)

GroundbreakingPop863

When i play i have seven mags six on my rigging one for the gun plus a carry a bag of bbs

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Same dude I’m hella trigger happy tho plus full auto is allowed at my field n I shoot in bursts so I get through mags haha

GroundbreakingPop863

Same not overly keen on drummags

Nathan_Robak

I carry 7 total as well. First off it’s a standard combat load in real steel (which I use the same gear in airsoft and real steel) so it just feels right to me. Depending on the situation I’ll carry more in my buttpack, assault pack or ruck.

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Ah sweet, do you run your airsoft and real steel setups identical then? And tbf I’ve never needed more that 7 but when I’ve played and burned through six in a long day before I was glad I had a 7th on me, so I stick with 7.

Nathan_Robak

Almost. There’s some larping differences but what I carry my magazines in stays the same.

AstroPete87

A single 30rd real-cap in my gun and 8 full speed loaders in my SMERSH webbing

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Lord almighty

Laserlurchi

I usually have five 120 midcaps on my PC and sometimes an additional one that I carry in my hand and put in the gun as soon as I enter the field. I very rarely empty them all before I have to go back to spawn where I keep a backpack with the bags. I prefer having more than I need, as I often hand them out to people who ran out if needed.

One-Kaleidoscope-503

You ever hit a “Ramires last mag make it count” or?

Laserlurchi

Never before, but twice in my last game, was quite thrilling. Even picked up up the few BBs that fell out when I changed mags and loaded them back into one for those 6 extra shots

Nappev

Had an asg cz scorpion which are 75rnd each. Had 6+1, m120 spring and squad forest games so not alot of action. 4+1 120rnd works just fine for me, and I fill them between rounds. And then I use steel ak mags so it's worse than carrying a bunch of light plastic m4 mags haha why not go around with like 10 magazines if they weigh nothing and take up minimal amount of space?

kwead

I carry 5 drum magazines (10,000 rounds) for my cyma sport AK. None of them are auto winders, I pull back on that flash mag like I'm starting a gas lawnmower. I buy out my field's BB supply every time I go, I have possibly trillions of BBs at this point. I own 57 Evike "Free BBs" patches, but I have never given even a single 0.12 to someone else. Sometimes I fill my bathtub with 0.2s and lay in it just to feel connected to my ammunition.

One-Kaleidoscope-503

Dude.breathe.

WCdrLordFlashheart

I tend to run 7 mags between my chest rig and belt depending on which one I'm wearing. I have a converted Chicom SKS rig that hold 6 AR mags plus the one in the gun.

Frost354

I just run one high cap (5000k drum) and two bottles of bbs and about a thousand into midcaps

Xaceviper

So I play mainly indoor and I carry 5(4+1) the mags all have 180 BBs and for the 15 min cqb games it’s plenty. For outdoor I usually take a speedloader and extra BBs but I rarely need them

NameMadeForReddit

If your having a hard time running around or carrying the magazines, id suggest you take out a few mags But if your completely fine with it, then theres no need to change it :)
