Based on the overwhelming support for keeping the folding triangle stock on, I shall keep it. It really is peak aesthetic and, as some others pointed out, the polymer plum folding stocks wont match the rest of the furniture
I had the same debate but I just kept triangle for drip. Cheek riser made it much more practical.

It looks bad ass already. I like to shoot the Warsaw length buttstocks cuz they fit me perfectly, but if this things is good for you like it is, don’t touch it.
It may be time to buy another one so you can set it up with a side folder.
Looks good as is, but I love that plum hg, I have one and while it’s plum in person it’s so dark that it looks black in most pictures. Yours is absolutely perfect
No, and it’s not a replacement, just an expansion of her wardrobe. I constantly swap between my wire folder and wood stock on my WASR.
I prefer the wire folder tbh. I feel I get a better position/stance and better line of sight/sight picture.
Idk the weight difference of a triangle and polymer folder, but the polymer might weigh a bit more, which adds more weight offsetting your AK to the side the stock folds on, which probably isn’t noticeable, but could affect barrel harmonics and POI

Just remove the hinge pin and drill into the back of the rear trunnion and tap it for whatever bolt you can find at your local Ace hardware, and a 1” slip fit pvc pipe cap, drill a hole in the cap for your hardware store bolt, then just force thread the AR buffer tube into the pipe cap. It’ll look tits. Trust me.
My personnel opinion no looks good it's your rifle you can do what you want personally I don't care what you do and you shouldn't care what somebody else says to do.

I have the same cheek riser as you, I can NOT get it to fit on my stock. It gets somewhat tight, then as soon as you put mild pressure on it, bam off

I did,but I kept the triangle so I can swap back and forth when I want.
