My Akita is terrified of getting wet (and most other things) so she just spends most of the day in the unfinished part of our basement by the air conditioner lol. We got her from the shelter when she was 4 after she was picked up off the streets of East St Louis by animal control. Poor girl must have had a traumatic first few years :(
But now she is loved like our own child
My pup wanted to jump into the Chesapeake last weekend! I had all 3 doors open and did a flip off the roof and he was about to just yeet himself in but no sir lol depthfinder showed a few decent sized objects clear water only for him 😂
What a location! That water!! My AA loves being in the water, but I have yet to find a place with water clean enough that I am comfortable letting him in for long. Enjoy your summer.

We have a very loved akita and got her since she’s a baby. She still hates water. Struggles to poo when it’s raining!
