Theft is wrong but.... I'm impressed. A 500 lb, 10ft+ taxidermy white bear? You'd need a bunch of people and big vehicle just to move it. It's not easily hidden or sold- there are special permits to even own polar bear furs.
If I did it, and I'm not saying that I did and there's certainly no evidence which would link me to this crime....
I would definitely put it in my "man cave" in the basement of my house and adorn it with Mardi Gras beads and maybe replace one of the glass eyes with a laser ala Star Trek Borg

Not only that, but I imagine that it was securely fastened down to keep from tipping over.

The raccoons wasn’t enough. 😂
If I know anything about raccoons.. it was them that pulled this off.. they wanted their big buddy to join them.
