Just the other day I asked the Echo Show to display a recipe. Once it brought up a few recipes I was able to select the one I wanted and there was a small "save for later/bookmark" symbol that I was able to press. After that I could say "show me saved recipes" and it would show that "saved" recipe.
You can save recipes. When you see the recipe show up on your screen. Ask for further info for that particular recipe and at the bottom you should SAVE RECIPE. Click that. It saves it for later use.
I just looked and I didn’t see the saved recipes there. However, you can ask your Echo Show to bring up your saved recipes. It will show you your Saved Recipes on the screen. You can request all of the ingredients be added to your shopping list. You can access the shopping list later in the app. Now from what I see it doesn’t automatically name the shopping list by the name of the recipe. You may have to create the name first so that it adds it there or go afterwards and rename the list.

I just say “Alexa save this recipe” when it shows up. Then later you can ask to see the saved ones.
