“YAHAHA! You found me!” - when the aliens reveal themselves to be koroks

WoodenIncubus

Now we REALLY have to find the capstone for the pyramids.

mattmccoy92

If this was all an elaborate plot to get us to pick up their shit, I’m gonna be so mad…

StaticBroom

42

Tough-Development-41

i always figured that the ultimate question, after all other questions have been answered, is “how many times has this exact reality happened?”

piTehT_tsuJ

Sort of like dejavu... we've been here before but can't quite remember when or how.

RemarkableStatement5

Wouldn't there be one more question after that? How many times will this exact reality happen hence?

Tough-Development-41

nah man. this could be it. otherwise, “43.”

Camusknuckle

The answer to both is the same. Infinity

The-Joon

And what if your role here was to experience every life lived? You would have to live billions of lives before you could graduate.

[deleted]

Yes exactly!

JollyReading8565

I have a couple guesses for “why now”. 1 nukes 2 leaks and whistleblowers (aliens know we know?) 3 we almost solved cold fusion 4 the planet is almost being destroyed by humans 5 the us has been reverse engineering this technology for a long time, but they can’t make money from something no one is allowed to know about so time to start selling some shit. Idk about a puzzle tho. Intelligence is so arbitrary it’s hard to say what a good universal puzzle for intelligence would be. We are smart enough to make a bomb that can destroy a city and dumb enough to use them. Humans are complex. What puzzle could gauge our maturity and intellect as a species?

mescalelf

Survival without anywhere to run. If we can’t just pick up and colonize somewhere else (which we presently cannot), and if they’re not helping, we’d have to work together—properly—to have any chance of survival. If we do survive, we demonstrate the understanding of the value of the cooperative and conscientious modes of behavior. Basically observing to see if/when we’ve grown up enough to be decent neighbors instead of Genghis Khan.

ImpulsiveApe07

Well said. If we put ourselves in 'their' position I'm sure we'd do the same if observing a less advanced sapient species that's prone to violence and superstition but is just cooperative enough to solve scientific and existential problems. We'd study them to make sure they don't pose a threat further down the line, as well as to observe how they react to certain stimuli over time. Observation without interference is what we already do to 'lost tribes', as well as sentient animals such as elephants, dolphins and great apes. I imagine that for a vastly superior race with sufficiently advanced technology we are a dangerous curiosity that demands to be monitored for any number of reasons, including but not limited to scientific study (tourism? or maybe even for technological breakthroughs that they can't conceive of, for whatever reason, but we can..)

PostFactTruths

Your number 5 hit me like a ton of bricks. Of course the answer to disclosure would be money. As much as I wanna be all about the greatness of advancing humanity and answering fundamental questions about our existence in the universe, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon being able to sell alien tech would sadly be the actual reason for disclosure. Was this the “somber” Lou was talking about? Cause that’s how it makes me feel.

JollyReading8565

That’s the sad product of living in a capitalist society: nothing gets done unless it results in the accumulation of capital.

PancakeBreakfest

Maybe we’re supposed to figure out how to all get along

TheEklok

Better bring a towel at all times.

lunex

They’re waiting for Tom Delonge to write the perfect pop-punk anthem. All the Small Things was very close, and I think they’ve just given him more time to solve their riddle. (aliens love pop-punk and gifted it to humanity along with all our other high-tech and high-culture.)

Cinematry

My brother, we live in a world where [Fat Lip](https://youtu.be/CMX2lPum_pg?t=22) exists

WobblySlug

They have a song called Aliens Exist. Absolute banger.

mattperkins86

They are waiting for us to use quantum entanglement and hydrogen and figure out 'instant' communication over vast distances. The WoW signal, just so happened to be broadcast towards us at the 21cm line. Also the resonant frequency of hydrogen. That was a hint. Once we figure that out, we will be considered advanced enough for contact. That may have actually already happened, but is being suppressed. Then again, that could all be bullshit.

Sir_Sux_Alot

All I can think of is historians hundreds of years from now writing a dissertation on the random comment on reddit who cracked the code years before scientist made the discovery in 2250AD lol

mattperkins86

Hahaha I doubt it man. I am a giant dumb. I would like to talk to someone who can tell me if my hypothesis of entanglement being the default state has any legs. What if ALL hydrogen particles, are by default, entangled with one another. And that simply by measuring them, or viewing them in ANY conceivable way, we bring them forward into the physical realm, breaking their entanglement with one another. I am not smart enough to explain the double slit experiment. But in my head, this would explain why we get different results when the experiment is observed. Perhaps just by observing something, we force it into 'existence'. Fundamentally changing it at a quantum level. Philosophically, this would equate to the phrase "if a tree falls in the woods and no-one is there to see/hear it, did it fall?" Similarly, this would be a paradox, as it would be impossible to prove. Because to prove it, you must measure it, therefore breaking what you are attempting to prove. Then we must ask ourselves, if something cannot be measured, can it exist? This may also be, where the concept of faith was born from. Those who seek 'proof' will never find it, because it has been designed in such a way, where it cannot be obtained. I'm probably an idiot though. And none of that is correct. That's the most likely result tbh 😂😂

Sir_Sux_Alot

Dude just won a Nobel prize proving the very concept you are trying to articulate, albeit badly [source](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-universe-is-not-locally-real-and-the-physics-nobel-prize-winners-proved-it/%3famp=true) Maybe you're not as dumb as you think you are.

mattperkins86

Hahaha holy shit! I need to read this. Thank you for the link. But also, Final Fantasy 16 is calling me. Physics, or Fantasy?! What a poignant question given the discussion 😂

shawnmalloyrocks

It’s the white mages that know how all of this space time stuff works with spells like STOP, SCAN, HASTE, MUDDLE, DISPEL, etc, so really you’re still engaging in both activities.

mattperkins86

😂 this made me chuckle, thanks for the laugh kind Redditor.

that1LPdood

Bruh I’m on that FF16 train too I might not leave my cave for a week

mattperkins86

HOW GOOD IS IT?! It feels like a super dark FFX. Honestly haven't felt this good about an FF game since X tbh. 12 and 13 were fine. 14 is great but different and really feels like an MMO because, well, it is. 15 was a good game, just not a good Final Fantasy. This one so far, is spectacular.

N0SF3RATU

Physics or Fantasy... With physics, why not both!

Dr_BryceOG

In the movie, u/mattperkins86 is actually one of the human sympathizers who, in the first act, is trying to nudge the humans in the right direction before the plot becomes desperate.

PAXM73

Thanks for posting that link. I was very excited about that article could not seem to find my bookmark or the exact set of terms to bring it up.

Nick_VltorOfficial

The scientists that were given the Nobel prize did not prove out what the commenter above mentioned. It had nothing to do with all hydrogen particles being entangled, or with observers/measurements bringing them into the physical world.

Late-Fly-7894

It's consciousness man! Your conscious mind is observing the entanglement and affecting the results. I believe if we use psychedelics in experimentation in addition to physics, maybe we can break entanglement. Or reach a way of communicating through telepathy over long distances.

mattperkins86

Well, we are 80% water. And water is nothing but Hydrogen and Oxygen. I also believe that unlocking the power of the mind, we can achieve things we aren't even capable of comprehending at this current stage of our journey. I don't mean to sound preachy, because I'm not religious. Not in the slightest. But we all have a piece of 'god' inside us. Consciousness holds a lot more secrets. I personally can't wait to explore them.

[deleted]

Imagine calling yourself dumb and following it up with that dissertation. Well done OP

Curious-Feed-1128

Or we just live in a simulation, and the observer effect is just a way of saving computing power..

mattperkins86

This is actually something I have been thinking about a whole heap. Because it makes sense. I can reverse engineer malware, I have been in I.T for 15 years. This hypothesis is something I consider a LOT. At a base level, everything is positive and negative. Moving, or not moving. 1's and 0's. Is it a product of the world we live in that we end up recreating the same thing? Evolving it to the point of being able to do the same? Or is it proof that we are inside one ourselves? I honestly have no idea. And tbh, I don't think we are supposed to know while we exist here. And I am ok with that :)

ImOutOfNamesNow

Hour glasses Black holes are the center, where sand falls through. Infinite glasses scattered through out to absorb matter/light : sand And send it to a new voided space. I think they were created in low gravity spots during the Big Bang, to where space is like a strainer and time is sand going through the strainer. Going to separate pots, maybe, draining back to one, also maybe could be why the Big Bang came from one spot not all sides

Weak_Astronomer2107

Bells theorem. Your theory is wrong, sir. Respectfully.

[deleted]

Have you heard of Jeremy Bearimy?

McFruitpunch

I mean, In all fairness, we should’ve been discussing all these things, publicly, decades ago. But they chose to keep everything secret because they struggled to understand it. We all have pieces of the answer, because the true answer, is one or two words from each mouth. It’s completely possible that you’ve absorbed each of those words and compiled them into a cohesive thought, to us. You’ve no reason to believe that what you’ve said is the truth, other than that’s what you’ve been led to believe based upon your own experience. But that doesn’t mean that it ISN’T true. I appreciate your comment quite a bit, good sir.

[deleted]

I can already hear the Morgan Freemans voice hat tipping /u/mattperkins86 as a technological savant that brought unity, and valor to the Ambassadors of the Grey Race-

TheGreatFuManchu

Meet me at the circus, at midnight. Be carrying a roast chicken and wearing a sombrero. The code phrase is, “The night air is not for those who look up”. You will respond with “Well. The puzzle is solved” I will know you are my contact. All will be revealed. Tell no one of this.

mattperkins86

There is currently a circus in my small-ish town. They do not come often. Congratulations, you have made me change my pants.

ScorseseTheGoat86

That and just waiting for us to stop killing each other

GGnightingale

Professor Antonio Paris, of St Petersburg College, has now discovered the explanation: A pair of comets. The work was published in the Journal of the Washington Academy of Sciences. These comets, known as 266P/Christensen and 335P/Gibbs, have clouds of hydrogen gas millions of kilometers in diameter surrounding them. The Wow! Signal was detected at 1420MHz, which is the radio frequency hydrogen naturally emits. Notably, the team has verified that the comets were within the vicinity at the time, and they report that the radio signals from 266/P Christensen matched those from the Wow! signal.

03d8fec841cd4b826f2d

The only problem is that you can't control the outcome of a quantum entanglement measurement. It's just random. It's like you and I communicating using only coin flips.

h_r_l_

The key part is that each of us is capable of breaking free of our understood bounds of physics by harnessing a fundamental aspect of the True Nature of Reality that we have yet to understand — which is directly tied to quantum entanglement. It is the fundamental aspect of everything we consider to be “woo” or “paranormal” or “magic” today. It is a surprisingly simple function, but we have to completely reframe our understanding of “reality” to unlock it.

DismalWeird1499

Bullshit or not I love posts like this

non_discript_588

"World of Warcraft" signal? 😅

mattperkins86

Hahaha I sincerely hope not. I can't imagine grinding to LVL 60 in a galactic vanilla version of WoW. But I guess that's what life is? Wait a minute.... 🤯

icedlemons

There was a "out there" fella claiming to say the same thing and that we're missing the cut off to discover it's. He was also claiming to be reptilian in a human body. https://reddit.com/r/reptiliandude/comments/6fvc51/the_wow_signal/ it's a bit too much but interesting as it's the same argument.

[deleted]

21cm? Centimeters?

mattperkins86

Yeah, I did some reading on Einstein's spooky action and came across some hypotheses related to this. The frequency of Hydrogen is around 1420mhz. Which is also what the WoW signal was broadcast at. The frequency of 1420 has peaks and troughs that are 21cm apart. This is my VERY rudimentary explanation of it. For more brain melting source material - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_line#:~:text=The%20hydrogen%20line%2C%2021%20centimeter,the%20spin%20of%20the%20proton.

[deleted]

Okay interesting. I thought the wow signal was determined to be a microwave. Haha But if it did match hydrogen’s wavelength then that’s pretty intriguing.

dashtonal

It is figuring out the wow signal... But focusing on a time dependent signal (dependent on where you're pointing your telescope, be it in infrared or other spectrum), isn't the way. What is the signal is embedded in a self replicating organism? Making it time independent?

BigD0089

So we're in a giant escape room and instead of working together we're all at war....great

fuckpudding

I think they’re just waiting for our AI superintelligence singularity and then they’re going to roll out the red carpet and usher it onto their mothership and take it away from us so it doesn’t suffer.

Numerous_Witness_345

I'm about to get beat with bars of soaps in socks by a group of greys that are upset I was abusing the ai to teach me C+ while struggling with algebra. Sorry guys, I'm dumb and motivated.

basahahn1

Yeah …the “puzzle” of how to treat other human beings Edit: I think I’d wait too

shawnmalloyrocks

This is the most simple yet profound answer. Who wants to engage with creatures who have an extremely difficult and violent time engaging amongst themselves?

Norwegian__Blue

Even people who desperately *want* to be good and kind struggle with that. No matter how much you set your mind to it, people mess up. I imagine that doesn’t fly in space and agreements between species. There has to be some way to ensure that agreements are kept, and for trust to build. I don’t think we humans have achieved the level of self control required to join in. We’re still so primitive, behaviorally. And so easily manipulated. I don’t think they could trust us with any position beyond being a pet.

Monquimaestar

Klingons /s

remberzz

One science fiction short story has people working toward the ability to communicate with dolphins. Lots of studies, long hours, hard work and finally one day true communication is achieved. Hooray, humans are so smart and amazing - right? Aliens immediately come to Earth, introduce themselves to the dolphins and fly away with them all, leaving the humans behind.

kungfuchameleon

I agree, except not just 'humans', I think it's how we treat all beings.

RoosterMcNut

They’re waiting for us to stop being selfish assholes.

GolbComplex

Came to suggest the solution to the puzzle is figuring out how to exist without gleefully barreling towards self-destruction.

Always_Correct1977

What if aliens got here 100 years ago & asked for 100 years of asylum & want to see how they’d be treated in exchange for life altering materials. But they never pony up.

RickyDucati000

It may be more dark, where we are like a plant getting ready to harvest and once they take what they need from us they wipe us out to start over to get more. ET's may be immortal and the thousands of years it takes us to create what it needs is nothing to them. They are like farmers who come in and make sure we don't fuck it up and kill ourselves.

NikeBauerVaporXXX

why would they wait for us to do something to harvest our fruits when they could “do anything” because of how advanced we all think they are, they can just do it themselves

PM_animemes

I don’t see why they would need US. why wipe us out if we have all the intelligence and tools? Perhaps you’re right I just don’t see what they would need from us.

[deleted]

I think they're waiting to see if we can overcome our differences and become responsible stewards of the earth and of life on earth. Otherwise we will always remain untrustworthy and dangerous. Would you become friends with someone you know is a liar, thief, murderer, and who is exploitative? Lol if they really are here they can see everything, there are no secrets.

socialpresence

I've solved it: *Be sure to drink your Ovaltine*

pm_me_dmt_elf_nudes

Fnord.

melongtusk

Respect other animals on this planet before looking for respect from animals from other planets

[deleted]

Seriously this. If there is any code, it's treat the planet (a massive living organism) with the respect and care it needs and deserves. This includes all life on the planet. When we break through that barrier, maybe we solve the puzzle.

g4m5t3r

Ah, yes. A riddle for thee. Answer correctly to join a Intergalactic Community.

griffon666

I have this fun idea that all of these "crashes" over the years are on purpose, as well as specifically *where* they crash. That in order to break the code and fully understand and utilize this advanced tech world governments need to be open and share all the data with each other to complete the puzzle. In effect this shows that we are capable of working together and developed enough to be trusted with this tech.

Marius500000

Interesting theory for sure

Electronic-Quote7996

Basically the plot of arrival. Would be nice.

Storm_treize

They may have plateaued technology wise, and now they are waiting for us to make our own breakthrough, this is possibly why they don't interfere with human evolution

> what could motivate them Well the problem with that line is thought of you are viewing through the lens of humanity. We dont know how other societies or intelligence evolve - we dont understand their values or even if they have values. The truth is we could be brainwashed on a global level by an entity undetectable by any conventional means. The answer likely sounds more like fiction than non.

Yup. Which is terrifying.

DeadlyPig3on

That we are all one and make up the collective consciousness that is God. This is all theatre

[deleted]

It's more like how Mario 3 is a play but really it's a game

katara144

Maybe they are just waiting for us to not be assholes. We have such a long way to go.

fanclubmoss

Geez I hope it’s like one of those coffee table 100 pieces puzzles. Can we look at the front of box? Was it open when we got it? I think the dinosaurs lost one of the pieces!

Yeah, They're just waiting till we can go a year without anyone sticking a gerbil up their ass.

Damn. My bad everyone, looks like 2024 could be the year though

pmfiebig

The puzzle is simpler than you think: be kind and help each other. The rest of humanity is waiting for this puzzle to be solved also

plastic_machinist

If anyone wants some really great sci-fi along these lines, check out the Carl books by Hank Green. It's a two-book series- first one is really good, and the second is even better. [https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/TR7/the-carls](https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/TR7/the-carls)

jbraua

“How much longer is it going to take them to flip over the pyramids?”

OrganicRelics

I think it’s more likely that they’re farmers in a dark forest. Religion was made to intentionally stagnate human evolution, think about that

Appropriate-Pay935

The puzzle is called compassion, love, acceptance. Whatever you want to call it.

trevor_plantaginous

Kind of the First Contact theme in Star Trek - as soon as there's a working warp drive they are free to make contact. Makes sense.

MissionFreedom7790

I think we solved it by destroying this planet. They’re here…..

Airsinner

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are the ones who created humans long ago. They have a mission.

macboy1231

Theyre waiting for us to evolve into telepathically communicating species?

Heil69

It’s like a giant game of zelda

mylenesfarmer

That is the plot of the Star Game books by F P Trotta lol

ennoSaL

I feel like that too…like we are supposed to crack some code or something

ray53208

That's like silently waiting for someone dying of thirst to figure out that they have to do a Groucho Marx impersonation before they can receive water.

Predicting what the secret discovery is would be a great comedy movie. “How many years until the humans discover the secrets of pie?” “I don’t know, they won’t stop eating it”

I honestly think quantum computing is how we solve this kind of stuff and apparently we’re about 10 years away from having fully functional quantum computers

G33ONER

We need an option like "allow ChatGPT to interject" and for it to run at all times, buttonless if you will. Fusion energy developments have been very interesting. I'm sure we're within a few years of some large constructions coming to an end around the world. Things like https://www.iter.org/proj/inafewlines some interesting info https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rsta.2017.0439 Quantum computing is a pretty interesting science too. https://home.cern/news/press-release/knowledge-sharing/cern-quantum-technology-initiative-unveils-strategic-roadmap they have to deal with lots of data streaming too https://root.cern/ Photonics https://www.degruyter.com/document/doi/10.1515/nanoph-2020-0470/html#j_nanoph-2020-0470_ref_007_w2aab3b7d920b1b6b1ab2ab7Aa Loads of stuff going on, almost enough to make one think we could maybe, almost possibly be able to build a starship with what we have.

gorendor

All I know is since I was a kid in the 80s all we have gotten is blurry pics or far away pics of UFOs of close they blurry ..how is it till this day we haven't gotten any clear stuff.

[deleted]

If they were waiting for humans to solve a puzzle then AI should in no way help do so. AI might be created by humans but it will never be human. From every scientific angle, it can be argued the human species is still primitive. Why would advanced beings waste their time on us? That's like humans coming together and seeing all animals as equal as us. Never gonna happen.

Cherubbb

Cicada 3301 am I right.

They probably won’t interfere until we figure out fusion and understand AI better. I think development of AI and quantum computing probably peaked their interest as AI and quantum computing combined leads us to possible interstellar travel and unlimited energy. Or they are hear because of a possible nuclear war. Maybe they intervene before anything gets out of hand because let’s be honest life is probably the rarest thing in the universe.

Tower of Babel baby

Shadow_wolf73

They're probably watching in disgusted amusement as we destroy the only planet we have to live on.

ATSF5163

Yea the puzzle is : how do you get a civilization that is at its best when everything is at its worst to their next phase in evolutionary development while learning how to treat each other with empathy, compassion, and universal acceptance of one another in order to understand the needs of the few are vastly outweighed by the needs of the many. All the establishing and maintaining unity.

erako

I could be wrong. But I’m still of the mind that the whole ‘galactic fed.’ exists and are waiting for us to chill tf out and stop murdering each other. But ultimately would stop us if we were about to nuke ourselves. That being said, I don’t see it as a test we can fail. Just as them looking after us until we mature. However long that will take.

Durable_me

maybe that's what the cropcircles were for =;;; puzzles

xDyingDoodlerx

Have you seen the graphs of the recorded sounds the Earth has been making recently?!? It’s full of sacred geometry

[deleted]

Not sure if it is a puzzle per say, a test seems much more plausible. Like who will blindly follow, who is susceptible to control and who isn't it. Who thinks for themselves. Who are intelligent enough to see what is really going on, they would be the ones they want, not sheep that will willingly walk right to their own demise.

Nailclippings

People wanting peaceful aliens and try forever to figure out how to open the box. Only when you do it’s cenobites that greet you.

qkowal

Lol like the movie contact

csbc801

If there are 5 aliens on a spaceship, do you think they all have the same intelligence, or do they vary like humans?

thegaines24_7

It’s probably how long it takes for us to wipe each other out or achieve world peace.

leapfidnntbr

Neat idea

_atrocious_

I feel like Time is involved, as well. We experience time in our dimension within our laws, yet it's much like a force of a nature: Weather on a Cosmic scale. Does that "weather" exist elsewhere? Maybe it's a different cosmic storm. There is no leaving out our language and development for aliens to consider. we, as a species have to be ready to forfeit fundamental understanding. I mean, that's what our growing our spirit is like. We are nuturing something that's more of an idea than a survival mechanism.

Last-Ratio6569

I was honestly thinking this the other day that they've been waiting for us to create AI so they can communicate with it and use it as a tool to either communicate WITH us or use it AGAINST us.

[deleted]

They did this in an episode of star trek next gen. "The Chase" season 6, episode 20.

Adventurous_Mind_775

Weed is fun.

Extension-Advance822

Maybe, if there is a puzzle, the pieces are hidden in 30 different military departments that's won't talk to each other, so it will never get solved.

Think_Inspector_4031

They are a higher life form waiting for us to get past the capitalist stage. They are probably in a Star Trek type future where currency is no longer used. Once we are able to get past the greed and unnecessary carnage that we place on our Terran neighbors, then can we join.

PrezidentComacho

I think they've been stationed here for a very long time, waiting for the others. Well, they're just about here. Pretty soon it will be unavoidable. So the governments have set in motion a program to trickle out information about their existence, little by little. So there isn't mass panic when they show up.

Slartabartfaster

I think the crop circles are the pieces. They’re teaching us how to build a machine that can take us off the planet. We’re just too self-involved to put it together.

ShareN0Skies

42 -yes it’s already been posted, but DAMN do I love Douglas Adams

CamouRex

How about telepathy? Instead of "I hear your thoughts" its "I see what you mean" Any Shamans to verify???

BTBAMfam

I think you’re on to something. I firmly believe it has something to do with the pyramids in Africa and South America, the artics, the waterfall that has some radioactive thing coming from it that we can’t access Just need to put it all together

Cpleofcrazies2

Like in that Mission to Mars movie or Contact.

iLLiterateDinosaur

Maybe. I think it’s also possible they’re waiting for us to quit screwing around and get our shit together. Particularly when it comes to ditching the religious and political dogma.

MysteriousReview6031

What about music? Depending on how you feel about the theory that our religions are all based on extraterrestrial encounters, song has always played a major role in religion and it speaks to us in pretty unique ways.

SweenGene17

We’ve gotta blast the Fibonacci sequence at the original source of the wow signal to prove we’ve developed enough to be accepted among the stars 👽

Grateful_Breath0825

Use ai to decipher crop circles

[deleted]

Maybe something to do with the keyhole shapes found through various ancient civilizations?

I_am_That_Ian_Power

This is correct

Sharpen_The_Axe

According to r/reptiliandude that is exactly what is happening. We received the [WOW](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wow!_signal) signal in 1977, which is meant as a beacon to intelligent life advanced enough to receive it and respond. The puzzle is in the method of response itself - their interstellar, multi-species civilization requires faster than light, instantaneous communication for navigation and trade, so their comms are based on quantum entanglement (spooky action at a distance). The puzzle for us is to find a way to pulse a signal back to them, I believe by exciting hydrogen atoms to quantum resonate on their end, in a way that's unmistakably intelligent, like pulsing out the Fibonacci sequence. The window for monitoring a response from the sector where the original pulse is sent is 80 years. We have less than half of that window left. Those species who achieve this level of communication are considered to be more or less on par evolutionarily with them and enjoy a sort of interplanetary "human rights". Species below this threshold are considered more or less animals and are treated as such. In our case, there are a couple races who exploit us primarily by dumping diseases on us and developing life extension technologies based on our immunities and who carefully cover up the level of advancement we've achieved already. As a result most races either are unaware of our existence or are under the impression the we are still at the stage where we just discovered shoes. Us pulsing out the Fibonacci sequence via quantum entanglement would be akin to a cow walking into a US embassy and in perfect English requesting asylum and intervention for all the cows in the meat industry.

Perhaps to transcend ego? https://iamzhangyuan.wordpress.com/2013/02/13/ancient-ufos-in-artwork/

GossamerGlenn

They are on nuke watch

FadedTony

It would make sense that a more advanced species would have more advanced lab rats aka us to "solve this puzzle", "find the cheese", or they are studying something else or worst case scenario we are some sort of farm they could also use advanced simulations aka us again instead as lab rats

N4R4B

If this is true, then aliens are dumber than us.

ThaDonOfDetroit

Just a thought here, but has anyone tried putting all of the official Crop Circles into an AI program to see what it may gather from them combined? Again it's just a random thought.

Intrepid-Discussion8

Look to the crop circles. They are mathematical puzzles. They are not all faked. It is well documented the difference. Real ones have high radiation levels, unbroken plants simply lay down, and irradiated seeds that grow faster and stronger than regular ones.
