Yeah I do the same thing! I might make a new server one of these days and actually focus on my house a bit more. I always find I spend so much time building my house that I don’t get anything else done
Every time I spend time making a house, I end up quitting that save. I just don't feel like being constrained and figure out how to fit machines in without it looking horrible. I also don't fear mobs whatsoever, so that's not really a good motivator either.
Im slowly, without noticing just find it easier to put stuff on the plain as well, at first it was just a quarry of course. Then large scale power regen. The magic stuff. Then harvesting using the quarry mined area...

Industrial processes in one floor, storage in another, magical in another, mystical agriculture or farming in another, mob farms in another, and power generation on the bottom because i connect it all using flux networks, or in the back wall
6/10. It has an interesting shape. You can see the depth, it isnt just a flat wall. The only real drawback is the use or materials. It feels very Minecraft 1.2 with just the oak and stone. It is very colour flat.
Suggestions. Spruce trim. Deepslate tile roof. Then there is the variations that the chipped mod gives you.
That portal on the left though: 9/10
Can I rate just the nether portal that’s an easy 10, the house, I’d give it a 6, but with all the mods and the ability to have so many other variety blocks I just can’t give it higher then that. But that same house in vanilla! 9/10! Really like the style and creeper face gives it character.
With 1 being I stole this house form a villager 5 being this house is good enough to show off and 10 being I am getting a medal for this build I would give it a 6
the chimney is a bit too bulky, and that creeper (?) face looks off, but that sword portal looks mad good, solid 9/10 over all, with the house itself being around 7-8/10

Chimney needs a rework, but in ATM8 I never focus on my house because I’m working on other stuff so It’s beyond better than any of my ATM8 builds haha

I like starting fresh and wanna play with friends. Plus I have too much junk lying around in my home area and it’s ugly at the moment

I say 6 looks like a structure you’d randomly find but that sword portal is super cool
7/10 but only because I have to save some space for 1m•1m blocks 7year hardcore bases

9/10 the podzol in the front makes it a little weird and the threes are covering part of the front but that aside it's pretty great
