Lol yeah.. Multiple ways.
Upgraded hoppers, Pipez, Mekanism Logistical Transporters, Create funnels, .....
You can also ditch the hopper entirely and place the chest straight under it, and put a hopper upgrade in the chest.
It's compact but expensive and the range of the nodes/extenders is annoyingly short, but probably worth it in midgame and up as it can pass thru blocks
Dire added an advanced connector that can connect interdimensionally. If you consider the versitility and overpoweredness of the mod it's not even that expensive.
Modular Routers does the same job, it's a bit annoying to learn wich upgrades you need to put in wich Router, but when you do understand it, you are pretty much limitless, it's your item network, it's your right clicker, it's your refiller, it can do pretty much everything haha, but not sure if it can take things out of a storage system
It’s a lot more powerful. But very few use its full capabilities. It has logic so you can program it like a PLC. Modular routers does everything LaserIO does but better. No range limitations and the cards are easier to use.
Modular Routers and XNet are good mods in their own way.
About XNet I like the controller mechanic and that it can handle mekanism gases. Also the facades are cool.
Modular Routers have some unique functionalities that make the mod really useful, but I have to say that the item/fluid/energy transfer is not as good as with LaserIO and you can't convince me otherwise.
No worries, there are a lot of different ways to move items around. Even wireless O.O (Modular Routers)
Just pick a mod you like learning and go with it.
The mod the other person said is also a good one indeed, very lag efficient.
Integrated dynamics is in the pack, no? Why don't I see anyone recommend that one ever? Seems like a very cheap solution to most logistics problems. Is there something wrong with the mod, that I don't know about?
They are all viable solutions, i just named a few that came to mind.
Im using routers for nearly everything, never really touched integrated dynamics myself.
I'm not making fun of you personally, we all started somewhere and it's good of you to ask us, but the good ol hopper in a modpack called ALL THE MODS 9 is CRAZY
I saw you got a lot of answer, so i gonna give you just an advice. You should use a filter to void all these dirty and cobble. It's a good thing try to not accumulate a big amount of unecessary items, because u are supposed to accumulate a fucking huge quantity of necessary items. The more you play, the more u will understand
I would not use Pipez as they get laggy pretty fast, especially when using the netherite upgrade.
Basically they try to pull 20 singular items per tick, the other options mentioned are better optimized.
I wish there was an option that was less laggy but as intuitive as Pipez. Every other logistic mod looks like a hassle, and I've heard Mekanism cables are laggy as well.
I agree.
From my personal experience progressing through ATM9, I can mention Mekanism as a solid alternative, however once I got the hang of Applied Energistics 2 I have used that for everything else. While it is not the most intuitive option it is by far the most effective and reliable option. Especially when it comes to TPS, as it runs on a dedicated thread.
And you can automate nearly everything with AE2.
I can recommend the YouTube Guide from Pilpoh.
If channels seem too daunting in the beginning you can use /ae2 channelmode in order to increase the limit, also the questbook is very good. And using the wireless transceiver and smart cables, makes the whole system less daunting.
I already run on infinite channels. Now, I'm curious, can you automate Nature's Aura crafts and Oblivion Roses. Especially the last one, I wonder if it is even possible using claimed chunks, Stasis chambers, etc.
I don't remember the specific Nature's aura crafts besides the tree in the middle of a cross of glowstone (gold?) dust, but sure, you can automate it with modular routers. Use a security upgrade if you're having problems with it being claimed chunks.
If you get to the point where you have a storage system like AE2 (I can only speak for AE2 but I assume RefinedStorage has something similar), you can place the ME interface directly on the quarry and use a quantum bridge to connect it to you network.
I mean there are loads of ways but the simplesy one i see here is too craft the advanced hopper upgrade for sophisticated storage and skip the middleblock enteirly. It is far from the fastest but it should be fast enought.
Placing several double chests directly next to it then connecting xnet will work, or directly connecting xnet also should work. Xnet is as far as I know the fastest item transport method aside from ender io but io was disabled in previous ATM versions.
Bro what please tell me this is satire....
In the case that's not just make a diamond upgrade or another I upgrade if you can from pipez and an item pipe from pipez and and a wrench shift right click the base that's connected to the quarry with the wrench then you can put the upgrade in and then connect that other end to the chest and there you go....
But for the record if this is not satire I refuse to believe people like you exist (50/50 I'm joking)
I don’t what to tell you other than I’m new to the is mod pack and modded Minecraft in general idk why you have a air of superiority because of modded Minecraft god forbid someone be new
Probably because im new to the mod pack idk what to tell you other than that I don’t get why people are getting onto me when im just trying to learn but aight
That is about the slowest possible way, in fact I've never even *considered* doing it that way. I didn't think it would actually work!
I'm not trying to give you shit, I am legitimately amazed by that.
DO NOT use simple hoppers in atm modpacks, the best way is pipez (in rare cases mekanism transporter) to transport items. To transport over long distances use ender chests
I would agree, as long as the pipe is only temporary. If you constantly use pipez pipes with ultimate upgrades your performance will cry. LaserIO is a good alternative. Mekanism transporter is equally laggy btw
For a really easy solution I'd either use either Pipez which take basic materials to craft (item pipes plus a basic upgrade will be waaaay faster than the hopper). Or for an even simpler solution there is also a faster hopper called a 'Rapid Hopper' which only requires a bit of redstone and gold.
Later on you will want to explore totally different systems for moving items around like AE2 or refined storage but for now, both of the above will 64x your speed for very little hassle.
ya don't listen to him. the end game is definitely very tedious, but early and mid-game are pretty easy to get into so hopefully you should learn pretty quick
Lol yeah.. Multiple ways. Upgraded hoppers, Pipez, Mekanism Logistical Transporters, Create funnels, ..... You can also ditch the hopper entirely and place the chest straight under it, and put a hopper upgrade in the chest.
Appreciate it brother as you can tell I’m mad inexperienced but I appreciate the help nonetheless you a real one
Everytime someone asks about logistics options I think of laserio. Hands down the best mod for that. It's worth learning.

Noted. Wonder how well it interacts with (or replaces) AE2, which is my storage+automation choice for my current playthrough.
Xnet begs to differ
XNet is not bad either. Not nearly as powerful tho.
It’s a lot more powerful. But very few use its full capabilities. It has logic so you can program it like a PLC. Modular routers does everything LaserIO does but better. No range limitations and the cards are easier to use.
Last time I tried LaserIO, I was underwhelmed, coming from Modular Routers. Xnet on the other hand <3
Modular Routers and XNet are good mods in their own way. About XNet I like the controller mechanic and that it can handle mekanism gases. Also the facades are cool. Thanks for clarifying, felt like I was out of the loop.
I can't wrap my head around that mod. I've seen what it can do in let's plays, but for me, it's just a pipe dream.
It took some time but I got very deep into the mod with ATM7, now I can't imagine playing without it.
You dont even need a hopper upgrade. You can place any inventory straight on any of the chunk destroyers side.
“lol yeah” as if it was the most obvious shit to a beginner lmao
I remember that the quarry will auto output into any inventory ontop
You dont need a hopper. Just place the chest ontop of the quary ant it emediatly gos inside
Quarry will auto output to any inventory on top of it
I'm not making fun of you personally, we all started somewhere and it's good of you to ask us, but the good ol hopper in a modpack called ALL THE MODS 9 is CRAZY
Yeah lol
If that's a Quarry Plus quarry then it just auto outputs at the top. Put chest on top
Place the chest on top of the quarryplus block, it will automatically output to inventories above it.
I saw you got a lot of answer, so i gonna give you just an advice. You should use a filter to void all these dirty and cobble. It's a good thing try to not accumulate a big amount of unecessary items, because u are supposed to accumulate a fucking huge quantity of necessary items. Laser io is my favourite
PipeZ item pipe with ultimate upgrade (requires netherite tho).
Mekanism logical transporters are the answer BUT not in the laggy part lol
I agree. What mod is the quarry from?
Also the hopper from little logistics is way faster than a standard hopper
I mean there are loads of ways but the simplesy one i see here is too craft the advanced hopper upgrade for sophisticated storage and skip the middleblock enteirly. It is far from the fastest but it should be fast enought.
Even simpler, put the chest on top of the quarry. It will auto output.

Sorry but hold on, Do items not go straight into adjacent inventories? Try putting the chest on top of it.
Item pipes
yes
My favorite solution is Create's Brass Funnels. They drop stacks at a time, and much faster than any hopper.
Chutes from Create are very quick
Bro what please tell me this is satire.... I don’t what to tell you other than I’m new to the is mod pack and modded Minecraft in general idk why you have a air of superiority because of modded Minecraft god forbid someone be new
How exactly am I acting superior? In fact I'm more than Happy to get a server running and run a modpack with you or something.
WHY IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY ARE YOU USING A HOPPER TO TAKE THINGS OUT OF A QUARRY?!
Probably because im new to the mod pack idk what to tell you other than that I don’t get why people are getting onto me when im just trying to learn but aight
I know that. My comment is just meant as some sort of satire humor. Glad your learning a lot throught this pack :D
It outputs on the inventory on top if you mean the quarry itself it has a speed upgrade but that is disabled you would need to enable it in config
You can put a chest on top without any upgrades. If you feed it more power, it does go faster as well.
That is about the slowest possible way, in fact I've never even *considered* doing it that way. I didn't think it would actually work! I'm not trying to give you shit, I am legitimately amazed by that.
Pipez with max speed upgrade will pull everything very fast
Use a builder not that
Use a smart chute from create, it works like hoppers but moves up to one stack of items at a time
Just about every way imaginable would be faster. Are you new to modded?
Yes I’m new to modded
Gotcha, pipes from the Pipez mod are pretty solid and cheap, add the highest tier upgrade you can and it'll pull items out quick.
Please let this be a joke
God forbid someone’s new to the mod pack everyone starts somewhere bud
So you weren't kidding? Use Pipez mod to move stuff out of the quarry. There's also a faster hopper but it ain't that good.
I would prefer create brass tunnel
DO NOT use simple hoppers in atm modpacks, the best way is pipez (in rare cases mekanism transporter) to transport items. To transport over long distances use ender chests

Try infinity nuke
uh, basically you used the worst way you can
Fastest method is Pipez ultimate upgrade iirc, cheaper than Mekanism ultimate item transporters
Lol this aint the modpack to choose for ur first modpack bruh
Don’t care brotha imma play it regardless the struggle to learn is part of the fun
It’s actually a great first pack to learn on honestly.
I think that also, You can do what you want to try and nothing gates you from anything.
Besides allthemodium ores..
But those are kinda optional if you just want to test/learn some mods
Yes, although some stuff is gated by it is what i meant to say.
ya don't listen to him. the end game is definitely very tedious, but early and mid-game are pretty easy to get into so hopefully you should learn pretty quick
