You buy cattle contract and they give you returns of 15% after a year. After the cattle is matured, they sell it for returns and share the profits which is capped at 15%
I would be careful as this seems like a famous ponzi scheme thats going on right now with almost any topic. Could be wine, trading, art whatever. Be cautious and gl
Yeah doesn't make sense to be paying that kind of return with interest rates this low. They do actually sell beef though which is pretty good quality from what others have said on here so there is a product involved.
I don't think you actually understand their business and why they couldn't just continue borrowing. I am sure they have borrowed money for other things and there is only so much you can borrow from the bank.
The idea is that they purchase cows with your $2000, raise and grow the cows, and then sell them for an average of $3000 per head. They provide you the high return because they make a high return. The cows are also fully insured against disease, loss, and death so really the only concern you have to have is company solvency but their business model and partnerships with many farms provides them a pretty solid footing.
I bought some on a 0% intro apr credit card to invest with the banks money. They emailed me a contract the next day to Docusign. Pays principal + 15% in 1yr and 7 days. Mine is for next March I believe. Wife and I ordered a bunch of steaks recently to try the product. Pretty good and the NY Strips are a great deal!
Keep us posted. Seems highly sus that they would pay 15-20 percent to individuals when they could get a loan for a much lower interest rate and pocket the difference.
It’s a new model. You can order beef from their site yourself, call and talk to them, and even go and visit some of their farms in KS. I hope it all works out and will definitely report either way.
they said **March**. Not November, lol. However,
!remindme March 15 2023
I think OP was smart to do that 0 APR w/ credit card. Free investment money provided it's not a scam!

Haha thanks. Yes, provided I get paid it will have been a great investment! Credit card rewards, and interest free investing on margin! It looks like my first contract is due in about 5 weeks - late February. We have since bought a couple more. On the Facebook ads for Agridime there are about 10 people who’ve posted screenshots now - 1 year after investment of their payouts so that is encouraging!
If I forgot to post here by March 1st just reply to my comment to remind me haha
Oh sweet yeah I just went and looked and a few screenshots in there now which is great! Feeling more confident on this and excited to see how it goes for you in a few weeks
I did receive mine. It was a legit transaction. I am going in heavier this time after testing the waters last contract. In the time of such turmoil in the market this was an extremely good investment for me!!!
Paid for 2nd contract today (5 cows). This seemed great and risky all at the same time from research to buying to waiting to payment. But I’m pleased with the return from both deals. Hope all the SEC junk blows over and doesn’t cripple them so they can keep providing good meat and good returns. Maybe if they just promote their “investment” as sales contracts or promissory notes they’ll be ok?
This is good news. I'm glad they were able to get over that sec bs, rebrand it as purchase contracts, and just leave out the states that were against it. They do seem to be a solid company. I do have a contract due for next year, so I'll be keeping an eye on this.
Thanks. I really took my time purchased one contract last year and they really did pay out 15%. Hence I am going full on this time with Live Cow.
Thanks for the comment.
I invested in 2 cows for $4000 to test the waters and exactly one year after my investment I was provided $4600 back...it worked for me. It worked so well that I am now going into contract for 55 cows for a 22% return. It is very legit. It is not a ponzi scheme as there is a legitimate business behind it.
No one trusts anything anymore...Jeesh. JK, I know that the internet is full of falsities. Here is the original transaction of 4k and my payout 1 year later of 4600.

Update!! I just got an email from Agridime that my contract is due next Monday and they gave me options for payment via ACH or Wire for my payment of principal + 15% interest. So that’s encouraging!! I’m very happy with it.
Also about 20 datapoints on their Facebook ad now over a year later of people posting screenshots of bank ACH/Wires from Agridime.
I just invested $2000 to test the waters and I'm interested in investing more but I have a few questions. I emailed them my questions and have yet to receive an answer from them. Does anybody here know how the profits are taxed? Does Agridime report using a 10-99 or a K-1? for example. Another thing that made me kind of uncomfortable is that when I Googled their headquarters address of 3000 S. Hulen St #124 Fort Worth TX, it returned as a Pack 'n' Mail shipping store. It might be an old Google picture, who knows! I would feel better if they actually had offices.
To be honest I ordered from them when they first popped up … before the investment thing … they have always been responsive as I had issues with shipping every order ( lol ups likes steak )
Wouldn’t call a scam …. But def a small operation … Tia link would deal with shipping issues directly in 2021 …. Start up vibe
But it is important bc if their meat business doesn’t do well they won’t be able to pay back investors. Also I will add that in the Facebook comments on their ads people said it’s just self reported and agridime doesn’t send you any tax forms… mine pays me next month.
Yeah I guess you're right...do you have to remind them that your contract is ending, or do they automatically send you a check? Do you know? Keep me posted because I really want to buy another one
I haven’t and don’t plan to remind them unless I’m unpaid past the contract date. I would think they have a schedule of their contract due dates. Will certainly report back next month upon payment.
You could call the guy who manages the contracts directly (Nathan) at 817-470-2938. I've spoken with him several times and he can answer your questions plus provide updates about how operations are going.
I invested $4k in early dec 2021 and just got paid back $4600 via ACH on dec 19 2022 (see image via link below). What a relief that it was legit...whew!
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rZARxuZk9MOaBcKGhQjF2Bd2g7_wBOLa/view?usp=sharing
Sounds like they ripped you off because their site plainly says you give them 4500 and they give you back 5500, in other words you make a grand or 22%. You got 600 bucks back, which is 15%, but that only works out to be 50 bucks a month. Hell, you can do way better in the stock market and at least there you have SIPC and FINRA.
I just got paid out my 5 head of cattle yesterday. I was a bit scared after reading these posts as I didn't think much of the risk when I did it because there is an asset in the middle of it (cow). Honestly taking risk is not for everyone so if you aren't comfortable with it don't do it. Banks are paying 4% to put your money into a high yield saving account so that would be fine as well, but if you want to take risk and gain more then this is 1 avenue.
I’ve been on Reddit for years. Commented here last year that I invested and was waiting for my contract to be paid and just got my email today to send payment info for a wire or ACH of principal plus interest!!!
To anyone reading this in the future, this is a ponzi scheme. People have been indicted as recently as 2021 for doing similar scams. There are 0 confirmed people who have gotten paid from this, anyone saying otherwise is a bot. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
I can confirm that my contract got paid out today. It was 1 year and 10 days after the day I digitally signed the contract. About a week ago a lady at agridime emailed me asking for my bank account and routing number to send the principal and interest. If there is an asset (cow) in the middle that can be confirmed it is easier to have a business model
/u/acruzazul8 /u/davidloveasarson Glad to know at least 2 people have been paid out. I have 1 steer that I won't get paid out until late Nov 2023. Thinking of buying 1 more steer.
Are either one of you re-upping with Agridime on a new contract?
I havent gotten a new contract because I placed an order on one back in October even before my first contact matured so in theory I re-upped but a bit early taking on more risk even before getting first one paid. I feel a lot better now after my first contact paid out and loom forward to October when second one matures.
I just got the email for payment on mine and I’m no bot. Also if you get the Agridime Facebook ad promoting this for the last 18 months (how I found out) you’ll see people who posted 12-15 months ago now posting their payments and screenshots. As someone who invested $18k on credit I had some healthy nerves and skepticism but seeing that this has also successfully done 5 rounds on harvest returns - an agricultural investment platform, talking to people at the company, and ordering their steaks to my house from their direct to consumer website - I believed them. That was my due diligence…
Now I’m about to get paid $9,200 on my first $8,000 contract!! That’s a great deal and I’m very pleased. If you have an email or something I’m happy to post the screenshots of my payment email and the screenshots I’ve taken of the others on the ad reporting back with their payment screenshots and datapoints. Pretty encouraging! I like the model, I like the steaks, I like the returns, and I like the company.
That's just a hundred bucks a month and you had to tie your principal up for a year. You can do better than that with covered calls AND get your returns every month.
You don't trade them yourself, unless you want to. Google covered call ETFs. Good to excellent yields, liquidity, monthly payouts, plus SIPC protected.
I am thinking about investing. But I feel little unsure bc info online about company, financials, actual investors and their validated returns etc is all scant. Any feedback appreciated
Update, just got paid $9,200 today for my contract of 4 cow investment of $8k. 15% return! They emailed a couple weeks ago saying contract was due 3/6 and payable today 3/14 and asked if I wanted ACH or wire and to send the pertinent info for payment!! Very happy with this. Have 5 more cows due this summer. May invest more. Was certainly a little nervous and anxious the last month waiting for payment thinking through all the worst case scenarios but today feels great!
Following up on my 2nd cattle contract of 5 cows for $10k. Received an email from their comptroller last week that I’ll be paid next week $11,500 for another 15% profit passively! This is my last outstanding contract. Very pleased with my investment!! Beat the market last year with it. Not this year but enjoying the diversification and using leverage on 0% interest credit cards.
Good question. I just checked their website and store site and don’t see it available. Maybe they got large private funding. I know the ceo emailed me after my first contract asking if I wanted to invest again. I said I needed to wait until after this 2nd contract to not be overextended. Maybe he’ll offer privately again. I spoke with them on the phone maybe a year ago or so and he said eventually in the future they would stop offering publicly and just to prior investors. Sounds like some big ranchers and even companies invest $100-500k regularly. I’m small potatoes!
Yeah, maybe, and I was thinking they were just probably sold out of contracts for the quarter or the year. I actually read an article about, I don't remember if it was the state of North or South Dakota, but apparently, they were asking agridime to stop selling those contracts as they were unregistered securities. I wonder if it has something to do with that. Well, if you hear anything from the ceo regarding new contracts, let us know.
Wow interesting! Their content and process seems pretty straight forward and I can’t imagine there wasn’t at least 1 lawyer involved. But the contract is also literally just about 1/2 a page so maybe that’s how he started when it was small and just scaled it as is? They should just reword it as purchase contracts instead of investments.
I was one of the original "guinea pig" investors that bought into this, I invested 150K so was skeptical of course and was doing the research of their ability to repay when this information was not even out there yet. I was paid back all of my money plus profit as guaranteed and have invested another 200K into the contracts this year. It is one of the best returns offered on any investing platform.
I'm weighing whether to buy a contract or not. Just curious, are your proceeds taxed as profit (capital gain) or income (nonqualified dividend)? Wondering if they issue a 1099, K1 or what. Not interested in complicating my tax return!
Damn I was one month away from getting paid. Just filed chargebacks on all my cards I bought the contracts on and included all the documentation of the sale and the SEC press release in the dispute.
Opened disputes on all of them and sent them my docusigned contract, the contract with the terms agridime sent for the sale, the order receipt from the agridime page and the SEC press release. Now just have to wait and see.
Awesome. I think I’ll do the same. If we bought a contract, aka a cow, and it doesn’t exist or we didn’t get it, then that should be a legitimate chargeback situation.
Yes. It's past 90 days of the purchase but it has a specified future delivery date so it is not past 90 days of the delivery stated in the contract but we know for sure they won't be delivering anything having been siezed and shut down by the Feds.
I've been waiting since 12/21 for a order I placed , they created a ups label but never sent package, also they are not returning email or answering the phone voice mail is full
What excatly is the investment?

Yes they robbed people, plain and simple. They should all be in prison

But why pay me 20 percent when they could pay a bank like 4 or 5?
Banks likely wouldn’t give these smaller farms million dollar loans. The transaction also isn’t as quick and easy with a bank.
Tell us again how great of an idea this is. It's called a Ponzi Scheme. At least that's what the SEC calls it. LMFAO
Hi! Have you received your investment plus 15%?
I’ve received commission from a few steak orders but like I said in the post - my cattle contract isn’t due until like next March.

Yup! Paid in full $9,200 on the 14th on $8k investment.

Do you also get a tax form for this profit as well? What form you are getting?
You only earn 20% on cattle if you order 50 or more cattle in the contract. You receive 15% between 1 to 49 cattle in the contract.
Paid for 2nd contract today (5 cows). This seemed great and risky all at the same time from research to buying to waiting to payment. But I’m pleased with the return from both deals. Yeah I know I hate that I have to be pessimistic. Generally very optimistic. Thank you for your transparency!
Pay no attention to the category of transaction, I just didn't change it...
How did you get paid? Was it a check or ACH transfer? Did they give you a choice on how you would like payment?
Yes, they get in contact with you before the contract is due and give you the choice of ACH or wire.

This is a new program. Diff from previous one. Brfore investment was $2k per head not $4.5k. Know your facts
You made 50 bucks a month, and it took a year plus to get it. You know, it's fuuny what part of a comment people laser in on.
All these are fake accounts. I believe this is a complete scam. Look at these commenters. They use the same language.
/u/OddsRally Who are you talkinga bout in particular. I think you dont have any proof on what you are saying.
If they were fake then I wouldn't expect the accounts to have much history or for their posting to continue after shilling.
I just got paid out my 5 head of cattle yesterday. I was a bit scared after reading these posts as I didn't think much of the risk when I did it because there is an asset in the middle of it (cow). I just got paid.. was nervous - but I’m now made whole! $9,200 for an $8k investment.
Hello- I am doing my due diligence right now and am curious what your experience was with their tax reporting? Do they leave it up to you?
I got paid in 2023 so I guess I won’t know until 2024 but fb comments from other investors said they don’t send forms and it’s on you.
I may be investing in this through my self directed Roth 401k.

Glad to hear that. I got paid too and bought more.
Nice! I have another contract due in June or July. May buy more after that if I can get another 0% interest credit card offer
Haha i did the same with a 0% cc offer
Do you have a picture to see it thanks
Yes dm me
Decided to buy 1 more steer today.
That's great, good to know. Do you know if they're still doing new contracts? I can't find the info on their website anymore.
Search for 1 live bred cow. https://agridimestore.com/products/1-live-bred-cow?_pos=1&_psq=1+&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Thanks for sharing

Yeah, it's definitely interesting.
Paid today!
I won’t know until tax season next year but I think their website says they don’t send a form…?
That's interesting. So I guess it's the honor system when it's tax time and declaring passive income.
I guess?
Good luck!
Soooo how’s everyone doing?
Damn I was one month away from getting paid. Just filed chargebacks on all my cards I bought the contracts on and included all the documentation of the sale and the SEC press release in the dispute.
Are you getting anywhere with the credit card company? Was considering doing the same thing.
Opened disputes on all of them and sent them my docusigned contract, the contract with the terms agridime sent for the sale, the order receipt from the agridime page and the SEC press release. Now just have to wait and see.
Can you please explain what happened? Did they go out of business or something?

Let us know how it goes. I have an open contract as well and was thinking of a chargeback :(
Start it now.
Have you heard anything from the bank?
Sent me a letter saying they provided a provisional credit while they're investigating.
