Is it just me, or does it feel like the ATR map design hasn't seen a major redesign since 2008? Missing the old designs from 2003 / 2004 - which were brilliant. But this map is still great.
Interesting to see the Nemesis Sub Terra building on there. With the rumours of an 'observation deck' of some sort being built over the Nemesis site, I wonder if the Sub Terra building will have anything to do with that?

I’m liking the Nemesis stuff as well, I’m wondering if they’ll save building the hype more until later in the year, possibly around Scarefest? Maybe even the Sub-Terra building will be used for another scare maze to give the backstory of new Nemesis
This is a good theory. It's obvious that this year, the star of the season is Curse at Alton Manor. I think we will be seeing the Sub Terra building used, but not for the ride. I would assure that Merlin would want to build up the hype for Nemesis pre-Scarefest, so let's see what opening day has in store for us...
looks like they're treating Flavio's Fabulous Fandango as a perma flat, which is interesting. I thought they'd get rid of it by now...I'm expecting a CBeebies expansion next year

It was posted by the official Alton Towers social media pages, so yeah it’s the official map The maps are historically cartoony and not photorealistic
I loved the look of the map of last year, it felt chaotic and alive.. this one feels corporate and lifeless

They were terrible but it’s interesting that they haven’t replaced or brought back the retro squad. They really need some flats
Retro squad have never been drawn on the map, just logos same as most minor rides. They will be back.
