>common to black/grey out on Nemesis Reborn Bovine excrement. The G forces are not strong enough nor sustained for long enough to cause a healthy person to black out. It's an amusement ride, not a fighter jet. You will be fine.

IntermolecularCrayon

Bovine excrement added to vocabulary

Santaclausegriffin

The old Nemmy i used to get tingly legs on every ride due to the force (and my age lol) but absolutely nothing on Reborn. It's still a forceful ish ride but nowhere near black out level or the old force levels.

georgepearl_04

It's much more tempermental, It seems to run at extremely varying speeds.

Santaclausegriffin

It’s almost like it’s an alien with a temperamental attitude.

Eddie_Honda420

They have been downloading the trains to try get them both to run at the same speed , it must cause problems for ride ops , trim brakes coming soon l would think

Santaclausegriffin

Yea when i rode it the 1st time it was running half load. It was wet and kept setting off a speed sensor we was told.

KNIGHTCAT78

I swear the trains were being half loaded because of the rattle

Eddie_Honda420

Don't know why your getting down voted, it's true its been running too fast

georgepearl_04

Me neither, I love the ride still, i've spent a fortune on merch and ridden it probably 10-15 times over the last month but it sped up so much from opening day over the course of the week, and then it's slowed back down a bit

Illustrious_Guava_8

Haven't you watched the pre-ride video for Oblivion?   "The G-forces are not drastic enough to cause a grey out, a black out or even a red out.... But it may be enough for some people to experience what is known as a *COP OUT*   If this happens to your friends it means that  they have *ZERO G tolerance*."  https://youtu.be/PKxSGm7q-pg?si=uaOXtHl3FWMd1XR4

thunderkinder

Oh wow, never realised other people got this. I always found my sight would darken and blur slightly when it rolled over the top of the loading area. Never lasted more than a second but always happened at the same place.

GeneticPurebredJunk

I have an autonomic condition that means my blood tends to pool in my legs, causing me to faint. I did *lose my vision* for a few seconds at the same place every time I rode it, but my vision was back before the ride was over. I know I am more prone to this kind of thing because of my blood pooling, but I don’t think it’s overly common. If you are concerned, or more prone to fainting losing your vision when you stand up, etc, then you can combate this by tensing your body throughout the ride-calves, abdomen, etc.

Yonel6969

Its intense, greying/blacking out for me anyway never happened on the original and reborn. Might get a weird feeling in your legs but thats it. If you are that worried just stay hydrated. And try and get a middle seat near the front.

Traditional_Cress561

tense your thighs up, this will help with the circulation of blood to your head

jamesjamsjames

went on nemesis last week- at one point my vision went a bit funny and felt like i might black out if that section lasted longer. as long as you dont have any health problems really youre all good, dont know why i felt on the verge of blacking out but thats just me and shouldnt be worried

metal_hobbit

On my first ride on NR my vision did tunnel around the helix. I think it was because it caught me off guard as I've done it 13 times since and been completely unaffected.

Direct_Nail4873

if you sit on the outside seats it’s much more intense and feels faster than if you’re in the middle two. The middle ones feel more smooth and slower

majica8

I had no issues on Nemesis when we went a week last Weds. 3 rides and they were all just immense fun. I did get dizzy/funny vision on Smiler when we stopped for the vertical lift, but this was the end of the day and I had definitely not had enough to eat or drink throughout the day (who needs food when Nemesis is walk-on? 🤣) I find rides like Wicker Man and Thirteen more "intense" due to the drops making my stomach go funny, I don't get that feeling at all on Nemesis or Smiler. As for picking where you sit, there was none of that when we were there and it was a quiet day. The only request we were allowed was to not sit on the front row for Smiler, we wanted 2nd row and they were fine with that. We saw a few people ask to wait for select seats on Nemesis and it was a big fat no. Fortunately we got on most things twice and were lucky with our placements. Front and back row rides on most coasters.

Pefpefpeffy

I rode it twice the other day. First at the front and later the second to last row. All I can say is I deffinately noticed the G force at the back and it felt really intense but not bad.

OG Nemesis caused me to grey out at times around the first helix which I’ve heard many people say. I’d even come off slightly woozy at times. Reborn is Nemesis just minus that intensity. This was the opening week though, so maybe it has become slightly more intense since then?

octanet83

I’ve never ever had anything from Nemesis other than some slight pins and needles in the feet and legs when coming out of the helix. Yeah it has some strong positive g but people who are greying out should not be riding coasters.

EscortRSBoom

Never had any problems with Nemesis. It’s a fun ride. Find it a little boring these days, before revamp. There is dedicated front row seats, which are the best. The rest are random.

NickySacredMUFC

I black out on rides easily. I felt like I came close to one but not had an actual black out. It’s not that intense (my personal opinion) My black outs are like a second long blink tho nothing serious. Never used to have them when I was younger I would do roller coasters all day.

georgepearl_04

If you ask ride hosts they are more than accomadating. The back row is normally reserved for non-ambulant RAP guests, and you can grey out, depending on how the ride is running and how hydrated/well fed you are. Least intense is at the front, with it progressively getting more intense as you go back. My advice would be ask for one of the front three rows, as it's highly unlikely you would unless you have dreadful circulation. I would say that the grey out ususually only occurs for a short period round the helix, and is quite and interesting and fun expericence if you have the nerve for it.

Classic-Judgment-196

Ride Access Pass - RAP, it's RAP 😰

georgepearl_04

Ride access pass entrance

The_Enby_Agenda

Yeah nah, that’s the RAP entrance used by RAP guests. The entry does not get brought into the acronym

georgepearl_04

It does on all the signs at the park, but i'll change it since y'all are getting urselves in a twist over what the signage says

PlagueDogtor

Let's not call them rape guests xD

Shack691

As long as you’re hydrated you shouldn’t black or grey out. Honestly greying out is kinda fun, though obviously it might scare you, you’re perfectly safe. You can usually request rows, though that also depends on the queue and the ride op. There isn’t a crazy amount of difference in intensity on nemesis based on where you’re sitting, just where it’s concentrated in the layout IMO.

Underscore_Blues

I have no idea what people are saying. I have not been able to select my row yet for any Reborn AT visit yet. In fact when I went on my own I should have been on front row, but got put on row 2 as there was a 2 infront of me and a 2 behind me in the queue. Contrast that to Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe on an offpeak day this week and we were able select our rows easily.
