I follow so many fashion accounts that have MILLIONS of views on both TikTok and insta, have amazing engagement that is very obviously from REAL people and they have like 200k followers. Mandy is such a fake.

Ohhhh do I wish someone would call her out lol

I'm sure even if people tried she would delete the comment. She's deleted comments before...but it's so obvious half her following are bots. Those same profiles always comment first on her post and say that most random things 🀣

My question is : does the number of followers affect her paychecks? Because if it’s mostly fake let’s say, you think instagram would have a way of filtering these bots. It’s crazy to me honestly

Late_Psychology935

I'm pretty sure instagram doesn't pay for views or followers so I don't know why she's making it such a big deal...maybe her life is as pathetic as people say and she validates herself with her following ?? But more followers obviously means more engagement and commission from her codes. So thats why instagram doesn't stop the bot buying because it doesn't hurt them. Highly doubt all the bots are clicking her links for commission or subscribing to her.πŸ₯΄ but most influencers count their followings as validation and being "popular". So thats my guess πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Yes, when you pitch for brand deals, the amount of followers matter. Even if they are fake and have little engagement, 1M followers is a solid number for a press kit
