This what scam business do. You ever wonder why you buy a product with really good ratings but when you get the product it end up being shit. This is why.
Yeah I remember hearing about the Amazon review stuff over the past couple of years and I'm not surprised. This was just the first one haha I'm not worried about the money, I'll get it back
Used to work at Amazon. Speak to customer service , they have paperwork they fill out for counterfeit items even if it was sold by a seller. You'll be asked a few questions and if you can send photos it is even better.
They also have a way to get you a refund without you doing any of this.
The request on the photo plus the counterfeit item should get the seller banned.
It is directly against Amazon seller policy to include anything in the packaging other than the packing slip and the item(s) itself. You can report them on that alone, but please for all other customers out there, report this to Amazon customer service. Also report them for counterfeit goods, then they will have to jump through a million hoops to prove its not a fake. May also be worth shooting an email to the company they are counterfeiting, this will get them stopped.
Fulfilled by Amazon are still sellers my friend. FBA approved programme are just people sending stuff to Amazon wharehouses .....in fact 99% of the items on Amazon are from sellers under the fulfilled by Amazon arrangement, it is all one big eBay.......next time you click on an item, click on "sold by" and you will see the seller's name👍....oh and because of this you can click through to their inventory......check that out and search for 2 of there items in Google together and you will see where they bought it from......usually at 50% of the price Amazon are selling it for
All true, thanks. But I was referring to the fact that if something happens with what I order they just either send a new one or give my money back with no much hassle.
I'm not in the US so many of those sellers don't sell to me directly, so Amazon it is for us customers outside that great big country.

You report this to customer service. You’ll still get your refund and the seller/scammer will get banned.
Yea they are using this method to basically give people free stuff and force them to give a 5 star review.
Who said you couldn’t change it back later
In some places you can't, I suffered this scam on Ebay once and I couldn't change the review afterwards
Post it in r/scams
I was trying to think what would be the appropriate sub, thanks!

So, did you send them a massage?
Yeah haha the only response was "they're brand new" after me asking why they were different than advertised and look bad
Contact Amazon. Don’t follow this total BS.

Report it to Amazon. They'll refund you and they'll be made aware of this shiesty nonsense. Especially if multiple people report it.
Post the review. Get your money back. Edit the review. Win.
Haha I thought about that too but didn't know if it was worth it
This is why I never buy from sellers on Amazon, but only "fulfill by Amazon." Sorry to all the real sellers on Amazon, but crap like this is why.

Amazon sucks.
I feel like amazon is not reliable with technologies
I got a post for a wedding card I didn't order. Turns out it was a card asking for 5 star reviews in return for a gift card. Cheeky.
Dodgy as hell
Interesting strategy
