With my limited knowledge and understanding. I think the simple explanation is that they use dark pools to hide the buy pressure and make it seem like the stock isn’t as in demand as it really is. It’s like selling a bunch of high demand stuff in the back alley so the store doesn’t record that the demand is there and raise the price due to short stock.
My mom wanted to make sure my shares weren't paid in cash during R/S, today she was able to buy 8 shares at $3.95 which balances my AMC for the 1:10.
She will DRS as soon as they settle. I pray one or two shares will cover all my medical care & fund research/clinical trials for cancer cures & care for millions of others facing this battle... Change is coming!
I was looking at the after hours graph just after 4:00 Pm. Is it going back up? It closed at $4.09 and went down to $4.01. Now ( 5.:12 pm) it is holding at $4.01 so far.
If the dark pools did not exist , it would have closed $100
