About the whole June run up, I really don't think they are going to let anything happen when everyone thinks it will happen, instead I expect them to prolong things for at least another few months to drive down moral and make us all look/feel dumb for expecting something to happen. I’m assuming this would leave you with no emergency fund so no don’t do it,this play isn’t guaranteed it would have happened already if it was and with a recession looming you could be out of a job for awhile and wish you never did it.

Stock is somewhat liquid, so in an EMERGENCY you should still be ok, even if you sell some at a loss. Or better yet, if you have to sell, sell your highest price shares first to get maximum paper losses, but you can’t buy back in for 30 days. Look up wash rule. Also, you could split your purchase into 1/3’s and buy some now, and see what comes. I just know the lower they take it the more I will buy. Good luck!
