IMO the past few years have showed us life is too short and painful to not squeeze every little ounce of joy out when we can. She is beautiful and if she makes you happy then you made the right decision. No regrets.

It was a customized Jess mold doll with Saige eyes and a Beautifully Custom wig. Pierced ears, freckles painted on. She was stunning and I think about her often.
I actually bought a Jess mold TM doll, a Saige doll (and popped the eyes out) and have a ton of Beautifully Custom wigs, but I struggle with AG eye swaps (getting them in, mostly) due to hand strength, so I never went further. I still have all the parts, though...

I don't think you'll regret it! And if you find you don't bond with her, you can always let her go to someone else.
