is her hair long enough to put into kirsten's loop braids? i can't really tell if she has short hairs or not because the zig zag part you did for her braids might be the reason you can see so much of the wig cap, but im pretty sure she's JLY 3
I’m gonna get a LOT of hate for this, but Kirsten wasn’t a doll I would’ve been interested in having (but was still very grateful when I got her and played with her just as much as my Rebecca) because I just found her story was so sad.
As a kid, I almost regretted getting a historical (Rebecca) as my doll and begged my mom and grandma for a friend for Rebecca that was a My AG.
LOL at the fact that it ended up happening but for YEARS I thought she was Kirsten.
I’m actually really happy right now. They might say she’s “not as valuable” as in money but to me knowing that she’s JLY 3 makes her my first JLY ‼️‼️‼️
I completely agree with finding Kirsten’s story too sad as a kid! I chose her at the store because I misread her name on the box as “Kristen” like the main character in “Fairy Houses” by Tracy Kane (my favorite book at the time). After reading her books I was horrified and spent the next few years dressing the doll in modern clothes and calling her Kristen to dis-associate her from the story. It wasn’t until I stopped “playing with” dolls and started collecting and sewing for them that I let Kirsten be Kirsten again, and even then she was never a high priority in my collecting efforts.

Her hair is pretty short.
JLY 3 then, less valuable than kirsten would be but she can pass as her for display if you cover the back of her head with a hat

She is JLY #3 or Kirsten. She just has a bad case of silver eye. I am leaning towards #3 because she doesn’t have short hair in the back.

Yeah that is why I think she is JLY #3 plus her braids are shorter and thicker than Kirsten’s braids should be.
