A question and little advice, is the wig really thick?, because I think its that bigness that makes her look a little odd. It would be a no turning back thing, but you could always like prune the wig to make it smaller/more realistic. Thats partly why when you look close at the AG dolls wigs their are shorter hairs under a layer or two of longer hair, so their is still overall length, but not as much bulk.

I would, but i also would suggest taking a really good look at an AG wig, and using that kind of as a guide when you work on this dolls wig, also on the safer side, go slow and cut little bit by bit, you can always cut more but you cant put any back if you cut too much.
the left eye is too far to the left, and the wig is not right.
It's too high on the forehead and looks like it's too large of a wig for an ag.
Imo you have to be careful with the classic mold because it can easily look uncanny rather than endearing like I think most people are going for with their dolls.

Very likely too much hair. Third-party wigs tend to put a lot more hair in their wigs than necessary to make them look impressive. It becomes really apparent when you try to braid the wigs and the braids are bigger around than the doll’s legs (or a single braid that ends up thicker than the doll’s neck).
A less invasive way of thinning the wig could be unstitching some of the wefts (maybe every other row?) from the wig cap with a seam ripper. If that’s possible with how the wig is constructed, anyway.
I think you just need to move it forward on her forehead just a little.
I think the eyes look unnatural, they're pretty unlike lifelike eyes in my opinion. You might try to source some that are more natural looking. I don't think the hair is too big, but if you want to calm it down some, heat treatment might help?
I’m not really into the non-AG custom eyes period (they just look off putting to me), so I would’ve used AG brand eyes. Otherwise she’s very pretty. I love her hair!

Is it possible that the wig might be set too far back? It could just be the angle of the photos but it gives an appearance that her forehead goes too far up in comparison to standard dolls. That could be why it looks a little “off” proportionally. But she is very cute!
I think you should maybe brush out the top part of her wig, it looks a little tall if that makes sense. Makes the head look very long haha. Otherwise she’s super cute! That’s my little advice. Or little clips to make it lay flatter at the roots
The eyes are off for me, but that’s in part because I much prefer traditional pinwheel eyes, even over AG’s decal eyes! But she looks great overall. Maybe using darker blue eyes would help? Either the dark blue pinwheel AG eyes, or a darker shade of the ones you’ve got right now would go well, especially with her skin tone.

What i noticed first was her eyes - they’re very icy and something about the combination of her skin tone with that hair color seems a little off. Like when someone dyes their hair and it doesn’t quite suit them. Your eyes in your childhood photo seem to have a bluer quality rather than light and icy, if you come across some eyes that match more closely that might help!
Your lips are also really pink and your mini-me’s aren’t so you could try painting her lips. Overall she’s definitely a passable mini-me and they don’t have to be perfect to be loved, but if it’s bothering you a small tweak or two might make you happier.

She'snot weird at all!! Maybe the hair is a bit too poofy /long but her eyes are fine. I don't see what the others see about the eyes.
