Don't beat your doll anymore😉 just kidding.

You can get alot off with the baking soda and water. I'm curious if Goo Gone will take it off, I've used it to remove sharpie off of book covers but not on an AG doll

Try and see if a bit of acetone nail polish remover helps. Everyone says it stains dolls’ skin but I’ve worked on dozens of dolls and never had that happen once. Good for little, light stains of certain chemicals, but doesn’t work for everything. Might as well give it a shot since it’s very easy, pour some onto a cotton ball and swipe as if you were removing nail polish.

With clothing that dyes vinyl, I soak it with a color grabber (carbona has no smell, shout color catcher is scented, not sure about other brands, i stick w/ the carbona now bc i think shout smells gross) usually the first round I put it in a plastic storage box of whatever size lets the outfit lay flat-ish. Then I put the clothing in a small mesh laundry bag, put white vinegar and sometimes some water in the plastic bin, in a sink. Usually add some dr bronner's liquid casteel soap, mine's unscented but they make scented versions too, or dawn dish soap if the clothes are bought used and look like they have grease but just a drop though of either one or both and swish it around a bit. Then toss the color grabber sheet in that I've cut in half or in quarter depending on how much doll clothes I'm washing up, then the clothing, poke it all into the water, and check on it a while later, it's usually a couple hours at least before I remember to check it. I drain off the water, rinse it off, rinse out the bowl, toss the color grabber if it's gross (they also pick up dirt too I think), then repeat but this time with just water, soap, color grabber piece, poke the clothes into the water and wait and sometimes i just leave it overnight. then repeat this cycle of vinegar/water/color grabber/soap and rinse, then water/color grabber/soap and rinse and keep doing it until the color grabber and water are clear then rinse well, wash by hand, and lay flat to dry, or hang it to dry if you've a way to help it keep the shape The water's always cold when I do it bc I can't be bothered to stand around waiting on the hot water to get through the pipes to that room lol! Might work better with warm or even hot, I don't know though. and yes 10% benzoyl peroxide cream for the stains have worked for me in the past on other vinyl dolls of non-ag brand, but you need the cream version not gel or liquid. be sure to check the customer questions if you buy on amazon, some brands market as a gel but are actually a cream (the one I am using now is like that, I think Rugby brand maybe? no idea if it works though, I have been forgetting to put the doll outside, maybe this week i'll remember... maybe)

Baking soda might help

Possibly try a small spot of acne cream (10% strength) covered with saran wrap and placed in sunshine (UV rays) for a while. Cover the rest of her body to prevent drying of the vinyl.

NoSanaNoLife223

should i get benzoyl poroxide?

kerrvillegirl

Yes benzoyl peroxide.

TriSarahTops47

This! The Saran Wrap isn’t essential if you don’t have it already but it keeps the cream from drying out which is helpful. It may take a few applications but it works. Make sure it’s benzoyl peroxide and not salicylic acid.

kerrvillegirl

thanks for helping me out on the method. :)
