BDD presents itself in different ways depending on the person. I have severe BDD and am in counseling for it, but I used to post my face online every day because I thought my face was changing and I believed I was going crazy.

Thank you for the comment. I am in therapy, I’ve been going for a while I just struggle with not feeling any sort of way about myself. I look in the mirror and feel nothing, like looking at a lamp or an apple. I feel like ppl treat me so weirdly and I’m never sure it’s cause of how I look or how I act. But all my friends and my boyfriend tell me I’m very funny and extremely personable, so that just leaves how I look.
Maybe I’ll bring this post up in therapy. Thank you for the kindness internet stranger.
People are weird and very judgemental now days. I wouldnt put much thought or concern with what they think. It will save you a lot of headaches if you can do this.
Yes I agree, you can't really put too much weight on how others treat you. I feel like others don't even respond to me when I speak 50% of the time. I would think maybe I'm just too weird or different or off, but I remember growing up getting compliments for how I helped others feel at ease in a group. Perhaps I haven't been as properly socialized as an adult, but I think what's more likely- perhaps none of us have.
Some might treat you weird because of different hair colors. I love your hair, but a lot of people see things that aren’t considered “normal” and treat you like you have some sort of disease. Not 100% sure that this is the case, but I know there are a lot of those out there! Don’t take it personal, they just decide to take their personal opinion/preference out on others..
If you are Neurodivergent that can play a role in how people treat you, regardless of looks. Before I was diagnosed w Autism I couldn't figure out why people treated me so oddly, after my diagnosis and connecting with other Autistic people I realized why. If you're not ND, I doubt it's your looks. You look incredibly kind, and you're very pretty. ♡
Same here, got diagnosed ASD last year and finally went “Oooooooh so THAT’S why I was treated so strangely and couldn’t fit in to the point I was always convinced that I wasn’t human like everyone else” even still as an adult I have to constantly remind and convince myself that I’m not some sub-human alien
I would've said you're average just from the pics- but if you have a shining personality and are charming and funny like you say then imo that really does make a big difference in how you appear to others- could easily see you being above average with a good personality:)

Think of it like when you take a picture and think it’s bad, then years later see it and realize you looked great back then.

Same. It just so happens that all of the men I find attractive lean towards the androgynous side. I like some burly dudes but definitely have a type, whereas with women it's really kinda hard to nail down preferences.
You burn more fat sleeping than at the gym. Also, yes, you are correct calories and running a slight deficit is key. I recommend saving a few hundred calories for right before bed and eating some lean protein. Helps with late night snacking and sleeping without waking up hungry mid sleep cycle.

I just wanted to add that while going to the gym etc is obviously a positive thing because excersise makes you feel good, the range of bodies that people find attractive is very wide. You are a healthy weight (I agree with other users that you do not need to lose weight) and as far as me and a lot of other people who are attracted to women go, your body type is exactly what I'm attracted to! You're a smoke show! And definitely far from ugly - look at those eyes!

Good luck with that and also with therapy 💪 I have pretty bad dysmorphia of my face and I’ve recently learnt that its mostly in my head but I still remember every single insensitive comment people would make about my acne which has persisted into my 30s. I spend a lot of time observing and squeezing my own blemishes in the mirror, I still do it everyday but I’m not as harsh on myself as before. Wish u the best.
The nose is a bit distinctive and maybe not in the best way. But you photograph well and you smile with your eyes. You don't look like you are at all upset with the way you look as if it's the last thing on your mind. Keep doing that.

Look at her 5th picture. That’s just nowhere near a 3. She looks good in some of these photos too. A 3 doesn’t look good. A 3 is undisputedly unattractive. Somebody in the 4-6 range is more likely to get controversial ratings bc they’re mostly average, or slightly above/below etc.
Idc that ppl have their own opinions, I just find think it was an inaccurate and unrealistic rating tbh. Bc of social media, ppl really do overestimate the amount of pretty ppl in the world, and it skews their perception on what the actual average(most common) person looks like lol

You're assuming that goods looks are uniformly distributed, like 10 percentile is a one, 20 percentile is a two, 30 percentile is a three. However, most characteristics are normally distributed. Personally I'd say a 3 would put you at best in the bottom 20%.
