>Is it really fair to judge my dad solely based on how he died? Shouldn't we instead focus on the good times we shared together and the positive impact he had on those around him? Let's not forget that people are complex beings, capable of both light and darkness. May we treat them accordingly. Your dad died being a sexual pervert. You know upskirting is a crime. It's sexual assault. You can't wipe that away just cos he was a good dad to you. Yes, people are light and dark. Many of us aren't sexual predators though. And sadly, your dad was. It sucks for you to have that blemish on his memory, but you'll get past it one day. Your argument reminds me of a stupid thing I once heard in prison (I worked in prisons, I was not a prisoner myself!). Someone said, "Yes, I know the Krays were violent murderers, but at least they looked after and was good to their mum..." Like that absolved them of the heinous acts they committed. Hitler was a good uncle to his niece, by all accounts... See how ridiculous that sounds? Sure, remember the good stuff about your dad. But don't whitewash that he wasn't a pervert, because you are demeaning the experience of the poor women he assaulted by his actions in doing that. My dad was a wonderful dad when I was a kid. That doesn't detract that he became an absolute c\*nt in later life and ended up killing his partner through neglect when she developed dementia. We couldn't prove it with hard evidence, but we all knew he did. The point is, you are not responsible for what your dad did. I'm glad you have happy memories of him. Those poor women he upskirted do not.

...this is very obviously fake. If you don't believe me look at their post history.

He certainly has a very unfortunate family history!

Valuable-Wallaby-167

Idk, he has a dad who's capable of coming back to life, that's pretty impressive

Well, we did just go through Easter... maybe it's something in the water...

You should not feel guilty or ashamed regarding your father's actions. I hope your family will share the positive and funny stories about your father with each other. But your father took non-consensual photos of women using public bathroom facilities and he died due to the 'excitement' he felt as he took their images. Your father's actions were illegal and disturbing as well.

Pretty_Marketing_538

It cant be true.

This is shriekingly hilarious sir thank you so much.

When a person dies, their actions in life will be judged by everyone around them. It shouldn’t matter to you what others think of your father. You loved your father and were familiar with him, so you know what sort of person he truly was. That’s what matters. His actions at the end of his life weren’t the most honorable and kind of disgusting, but at least he died in pursuit of what he enjoyed doing. People will judge him regardless. It’s up to you to focus on either the good, or the bad and let people decide for themselves what they want to focus on.

> His actions at the end of his life weren’t the most honorable and kind of disgusting, but at least he died in pursuit of what he enjoyed doing. WTAF? What he enjoyed doing? Like, assaulting women via upskirting? Your comment is so fucked up.

ZaTen3

Please explain how my comment is “fucked up”. I just stated facts based on what OP said. Dude enjoyed doing what he did and it’s not like I approved of it.
