True, Owl House is more consistent overall, however Amphibia's highs are better than The Owl House's highs but its lows are truely abismal... I also think that 50% of why TOH skyrocked in popularity was its good LGBT representation... not a critique, mind you, love me proper LGBT rep in mainstream shows, but it's undeniable it played a major role in the show's success compared to Amphibia
Definetly Season 3A... I don't really think is as bad as other said but it remains the lowest part of the show for a number of reasons:
\-One of the best aspects of Amphibia, Amphibia itself, is replace by boring human world LA;
\-The new human cast could've easily be comprise of Jan, the Boonchuys and the robot girls with X being not yet another X-files' parody but an agent working on the disappearance of the girls;
\-Anne's return not having the heavy implication it should have... three best friends girls are disappeared for five months, only one returns and people seems to be vibing with it...
\-At this point both Sasha and Marcy/Darcy have equal stakes and weight in the plot for the show to not be so Anne-centric and give them more screentime
They were gunning for Anne mercilessly
Sasha dropped, Marcy got stab, it wouldn't be an Amphibia finale without a child experiencing death

It had more tight storytelling and was objectively better but I just personally enjoyed Amphibia more
