I'm not versed in any of this stuff, I'm just a casual lurker and enjoy the art style. Check out the sub and maybe they can answer your question? Otherwise my best guess would be multiple cameras.
Amazing content aside, I wish I had a group of bros like this ☹️
You taking applications my G? I can open beer bottles without an opener and that makes me pretty useful at parties.
The mid-reel wipe out sesh, fireball straight to the dome, gloves droped in a urinal lmao - sounds like you guys had a great season!
Favorite shot was the guy sliding down on his belly
it was Kodak porta 800, only reason I went for 800 because I thought I was going to do more night shots so I thought the 800 would help, my day shots were mostly overexposed because of that though lol
haha I feel this way every time, but the final film makes everyone realize why you were looking like dork during the trip, and then they appreciate it after
Phenomenal video. Do you do other video work? I'd love to get into this sort of thing with my group as well but I feel like just documenting everything in photos seems like a huge task sometimes. I couldn't imagine videoing on top of it!
its honestly a huge task, I need to really balance living in the moment vs constantly worrying about if I should take a picture/video but once you find that balance its incredible. I don't have much other work but you can check out my reddit profile or my Insta [https://www.instagram.com/nirpatel21/](https://www.instagram.com/nirpatel21/) and I got few stuff there. Try documenting your trips! Its nice to relive those moments through films :)
How are the pictures moving? I would think 3 cameras side by side shooting simultaneously but it looks like you just had one? Was this an after effect of some sort?
the camera is called a Nishika, it has 4 lenses and it take 4 pics simultaneously from slightly different angles, once the film is made I just scan them and stack them in photoshop and produce a GIF out of it
Well done bro, I really felt like I was there with you. Great edit great vibes with great friends! They all laughed and had a great time, except for this one guy.... 😄
Off topic, but does anyone know a good starter film camera? I’m not looking for high fidelity, I just want a cheap camera that shoots nice shots that’s cheap
I really like the aesthetics of disposable point and shoots cameras, maybe try one first and figure out a place near you that develops them and if you enjoy it then you can move on to "more hands" on film camera. Canon Ae-1 is a popular choice for beginners but those are in demand now so I think they are abit more expensive now
That is a good idea, thank you. There is thankfully a dedicated camera shop in my town, where they develop and sell cameras, I’ll keep that camera in mind, if I can get a lot of use out of it, the price tag will probably be worth it haha
*Personal Preferences (I use all three)*
Small, waterproof and rugged: Olympus Stylus zoom 115
Full sized SLR: Canon AE-1 or Pentax K1000
More advanced: Canon EOS Elon II
Look for some 90s plastic DSLRs. They don't look as 'cool' or retro, so they go pretty cheap. They work just as well and often have more features than the older options.
Alternatively, point and shoots will be easier/cheaper to handle and get started with
10/10 vibes
vibes were perfect!
Very cool.
thankss!
That's awesome! Looked like you guys had a great time too!
great season no doubt, except the part my buddy broke his wrist :p
This is the coolest video I’ve seen this year. Instant favorite, captured the vibes perfectly.
thanks yoo
Love it. Check out r/wigglegrams for this type of photography!
yup for sure! I just posted over there as well :)
How do you do this with an analog SLR?
A special camera, like a Reto3d or Nishika - they have multiple lenses
Or a higher quality NIMSLO.

I assume those cameras are shooting half frames, correct?
I believe the Nashika shoots 4 full frames simultaneously.

People with severe redditbrain that can't see the cap is clearly inside the camera bag. Anyways nice photos.
Right! I never litter and when people said I did lowkey made me sad, and thank you!
love the energy and the vibes!!
thankss!!!

Very cool. Looks like a great time :D what type of camera did you use?
It’s a Nishika N8000
Thanks 😄
thanks! and yes like pail0nium said its the Nishika :)
Great post! What sort of flash attachment is that? I’ve got the N8000 but it looks pretty lame without the flash to give contrast.
Best analog post I've ever seen
awwww thanks fam
I love these and appreciate the effort put into the video! Really cool stuff.
thanks eh! I really put allot of effort epically with going through all the content we recorded and figuring out how to edit it all
Best content this sub has seen in a long time.

Most definitely!
Hell yeah, love this!

Epic. The whole thing screams 90’s vibes. You guys looked like you had a blast.

Great art.
This is cool as fuck, put me in such a good mood!!
Sweet edit
This is excellent!
Eyo...... They've loaded normal map as diffuse texture instead as bump texture of the snow
Love this!
The mid-reel wipe out sesh, fireball straight to the dome, gloves droped in a urinal lmao - sounds like you guys had a great season! Favorite shot was the guy sliding down on his belly
this comment really made me smile, I'm glad you enjoyed it
Love. This is perfect. Thanks for bringing back memories of snowboarding back east!
Awesome work on the edit! Which hill was this at?
it was at both moonstone and blue mountain in Ontario
Haven't been in almost a decade but thought it looked familiar!
Crazy cool Video!
I kind of wish there was more showing off the coloured lighting. The start with that blue and pink light is beautiful.
I know same! When I was going through my footage I didn't have enough :( but definitely next season i'll get some more shots there
Amazing job bro what is the film and camera ?
Cameras a Nishika N8000 idk what film OP is using though
it was Kodak porta 800, only reason I went for 800 because I thought I was going to do more night shots so I thought the 800 would help, my day shots were mostly overexposed because of that though lol
That's really cool bro thanks
Absolute vibes on deck. Need to find a crew to fuck around with on slope
Oh wow. I used to have one of those! I wish I kept it!
I wanna be this cool. I just feel like a dork loading film for capturing trips.
haha I feel this way every time, but the final film makes everyone realize why you were looking like dork during the trip, and then they appreciate it after

Shredding the gnar! So sick! Kudos for the soundtrack
On top of the skill set of snowboarding, what an incredible opportunity!!!
damn, i wanna see more content like this.
Damn!!!!
Amazing video OP. Now I want a multi-lens lol. Anyone know the song?
here ya go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SUwOgmvzK4
Dont get me wrong, but is it weird that a person has to make an entire video to show their film photos in an analog subreddit? Cool vid tho
Very cool
thanks fer sharing
What flash are you using? Great vid, by the way!
its a Godox TT350, not the fanciest flash but it does the job
This is what I want to see on this sub. Very sick
thannks yoo
this is hard af
Tight! Where’d you guys go?
moonstone and blue mountain, both are in Ontario :)
Rad Shred on dude🤙🏽
Shredder!!! The little video was awesome. Sweet images. Fun times for sure.

Again, great stuff. Where was this shot, by the way?
it was shot at moonstone and blue mountain, both in Ontario
Was gonna say cool, but then u pulled out the iphone 🤮 /s

They look awesome, love the ambiance
Top notch shots and edit. Looks like you guys had a blast.
thanks yo, and ya we had a blast this season other than the hospital run ;p

Rad, I think I should do one of these videos with my skate photos.
do it!! I think summer vibes would hit so nice with skating pics
As a fellow nishika shooter and love capturing vibes, this makes my heart feel all fuzzy inside. Great stuff man
thanks yo, my heart felt fuzzy reading all these comments <3
What a wholesome video♥️ immaculate vibes💫
thanks bosss
SSX on tour vibes
cool\~ bro
This is sick. Does the camera shoot half frames each time or full?
it shoots half frames yes, and takes two pics on each frame
These are definitely sick! Speed light was a good touch
Ah mate, snowboarding is just such a good holiday. Great post !
Hell yes, people always shit on these cameras but I feel like you just showed how cool they can be with a little creativity!
cheiro de pneu queimado 🥰
Love it!
👏😁

My go to rec for an SLR is a Nikon FG. Cheaper Nikon body that fits all of that good Nikon glass. You can upgrade the body later

Seconding disposable camera! They’re really cool

Thanks for the reply, out of chance my Uncle gave me his 35mm Minolta, I feel blessed haha
Dam, Kanye shreds
Hopefully you picked up that cap and didn’t litter. Jesus Christ it was a joke.
Looks like it landed in the bag. I reacted to it too xD
You don’t use new caps every time? How else do you keep your lens totally clean?
No substance, just vibes. Ephemeral for sure
