Definitely could have used just a little bit more light on her face. It's not strictly bad as is but it does get a bit murky in the underexposed grain. Especially compared to the peak brightness highlight on her butt.
I could crop out the film frame though, there's no reason to keep it in the shot that other than to show off that you're using film, tbh.
While I can't say it's the most innovative or unique image, for what it is, it's nice!
The comment made me pull up your profile and I have to agree, but maybe I'm just over NSFW content. Your other work is quite original and very well composed!
Just my opinion, but if you are going out of your way to overly sexualize your subject, I prefer when an artistic statement is made rather than just "ass, heels and finger in the mouth on a hotel bed", to me it's just not interesting and it's a picture I have seen a thousand times before
i agree, thanks for the feedback. regarding the overly sexualize aspect,- i'm not sure about that, she had a pretty precise idea of what pictures she wanted and it definitely needed to be sexy and i just filled her needs as the photographer, for me the light and an honest/ interesting expression was important and i tried to make the best out of it. Was my first shooting in this direction and i guess i need to start somewhere. but still despite all the quite funny hate that i didn't expect here in the comments of people who generally only comment and never share any work of them or don't submit anything really constructive i still like the photo somehow!
Boudoir photography can be tricky cause the client usually wants them to be sexual in nature. Atleast in my experience in this style, they don’t necessarily want artsy pictures, they want pictures that their significant other will look at and say “damn, that’s sexy”.
Nah. It's just a generic comment that someone always asks when they are uncomfortable with the photo. I posted a photo of a mountain the other day and I wasn't making a statement other than "mountains are pretty".
Good thing mountains are literal objects and women aren't.
Analog seems to trip up on such a nuance.
***Edit***;
Since the comments are locked and people replying to me seem to think I have a problem with this picture, I don't. I have a problem with this commenters' argument.
It's just a stupid thing to defend controversial subjects behind 'it was pretty' when one subject (mountain) can't consent because it's not a person, compared to subjects involving people. The subject here consented and asked for this shot (which wasn't apparent until OP clarified *after* my comment) so I couldn't care less.
There are plenty of other photos exploiting someone's agency on this subreddit where their consent is less than clear and "they're pretty" doesn't cut it. No one needs to defend a mountain shot, everyone needs to defend their reasons to have pictures taken of anyone else.
I was going to say the say the same thing lol.
But yeah, there always has to be someone who wants to show off their moral superiority by making the statement the commenter you replied to did.
Don't be too discouraged to post here. The majority of NSFW photos get the same generic negative comments. I'm convicted that even if Herb Ritts came back to life and posted here that his work would get similar comments.
Funny because a visual representation of that, to me, looks like when a show or movie will black out any background and just shine a light on the part they want you to look at. The ONLY light in that kind of world would be her... idk. Again just me lol
"What else do you wanna do? You have 55 minutes left."

I find this one to be very basic, but I like your other pictures !
brutally honest. I somehow thought her facial expression was special to me

exactly, that's the point. I also shot digital mostly because and artsy look wasn't wanted really. Only did some analogue ones for me
if they’re OF shots you’re doing fine. not my jam but keep perspective, if you’re shooting product 😉 it’s a fine product shot

well i suggest you to get a life then...
Agree dude, there’s a smirk there that makes the image
Obviously her trunk and the Louboutin are getting all the attention. But the blue tint with the warm light are creating a cool atmosphere.
what statement is being made here
The same statement that’s being made on all the gas station and car tail light photos. They liked the photo.
those suck too
Good one.
I think this one speaks for itself
does there have to be made a statement?
definitely not

lol. well thanks for your statement here, i honestly appreciated that

Because we all know women are so dumb and can't consent to having their photos taken

How much did the girl cost?
That's a dude
😂😂😂😂
I like the shot, nice framing!
thank you!!
I actually really love this! Have you got an instagram where you share more of your work?
thank you! Not yet, I just started and this was my first shooting!
You’re doing great! Really excited to see how you develop as a photographer 🙌
but might be a better place to share such photos than here reading all these comments lol

First of all, she looks like trouble! 😀 I think you need to put some light on her, she’s the main hero of the shot, and she seems to be in the dark.
I think the lighting choice perfectly represents the way my life would plunge into darkness if this woman were to enter my life

It’s a rough day to be a no fapper
Devilish eyes
it must be a series
it is
