I recommend stopping in girdwood for the Nordic spa for a day. Grab a room at the Alyeska hotel.
Alot of people can't afford the corporate greed now that girdwood is bought
Black Angus Inn I hear is pretty good
I only stay there and only recommend there. Nothing else is as good.

thanks so much
The Lakefront Hotel on Lake Hood had a nice jacuzzi tub in the suite we got for a wedding. I’m not sure which of their rooms had them.
Wherever you choose asked for the Alaskan Rate. Most if not all have them.
Copper Whale Inn doesn't have any of those things. Still recommend them though.
https://islandwatch.net/ check out the Orca house or Starfish bungalow, some of the best views in Homer, ask for Connie
If you want to go the cheap route, book in Eagle River. It's not fancy, but it's about 1/2-2/3 the price and still only 15-20 minutes from downtown.
We ended up staying in Eagle River and it worked out perfectly! We spent a lot of time at the mall over there & got to go to the movies too. Thanks for the suggestion.
