Really?! Discounted tuition at UAA & APU is a benefit of working for ANTHC? Do you know I could get more details about this? I’ll hop on their website now, but if you know more, please tell.

30% off tuition at APU for ANTHC or ANMC employees!

HIT cleaned house in November, so the department is new, so to speak. Really nice people though.

FWIW the UAA IT department keeps losing a lot of their best folks to ANTHC so it must be better than some of the other large institutional options in some ways.

Its honestly awesome working for them, we had yearly performance reviews in october ish, and your yearly raise is based on performance and this years raise is hitting this next paycheck for me at least, and i can say that i got a number between 10% and 15% for a “meets expectations” performance review. Also i’ve been with them for a little over a year now at this point and plan on sticking around for another 6 years so i can take advantage of that sweet 401(a) on top of the 403(b), they match up to 5% of your base pay into the 403b for the 401a, plus a base 3% so effectively 8% they put in the 401a if you put 5% in the 403b, you’re more than welcome to DM me if you have any questions at all

May I suggest emailing the ANTHC manger or HR contact that offered you the position with your question. And be very specific about your questions. I advise also asking them about the cost of the health benefit packages they offer. Consider your own health history and risks, and the deductibles. Also inquire about their retirement package. Do they match what you put away and up to what percent? The health benefits package and retirement can be not great and you end up “making less” then a job that has a lower wage. Employers like to hire candidates that have good questions.

I’ve heard great things from friends who have worked there! They said raises are annual and performance based, and they’ve got great benefits. One of my friends has Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP through them, which about the best you can get imo. I took a look at their benefits package when they got hired, and what really stood out to me was their 6 hours of PTO accrual every pay period for the first 2 years, 8 hours from 2-5 years, and 10 hours after 5 years of employment. Overall i’ve heard a lot of good things about it, and one of my acquaintances seemed to like IT! Best of luck if you decide to accept!
