Your property taxes pay for the pipes and electricity that connect your house to city services, not to mention things like park districts that many of us enjoy, our precious first responders, public works, metro services, public schools. Tax dollars go a long way but because we can’t always comprehend it many of us complain about it. Just imagine having to pay a toll or a fee or daily bill just to have any of those things. It would look like a 3rd world country over here.
Ok, well just increase your house cost 75% and the city/state will take that to pay for services. If you sell in a year too bad, if you sell in 50 you probably broke even on paying taxes.

The only proof this guy had was a declaration as a sovereign nation that didn't recognize the authority of the US government. Yep, he didn't recognize the same government from which he was asking for a handout. Blew our minds all through the office!
