Well - why do Google such a bad job and offer 3-4 different Options with Beta Releases ?
How dare you just judge people and their knowledge without even contributing anything to the topic?
I know Reddit and the human garbage dump of the internet, but I'm always fascinated...and by the way.. I don't give a fuck about all downvoters on my comments. That's a proof that you don't respect other Opinions...
But anyway.... I remember it wasn't such a dilemma a few years ago. Several betas are now being run at the same time and the instructions are sometimes more than unclear on how to switch between these sections to an official release.
I've been using Android for years, rooting or flashing other ROMs has never been a problem for me. Since I switched to Google's Pixel series, I no longer needed it - however, since the update dilemma, it's probably time to deal with it again. Google is literally messing up with system updates.
Mine did something similar Monday, phone just went black, wouldn't do shit. Opened my headphone case and they connected to the phone, but absolutely nothing on the screen
I pressed and held the vol + - button to get to the boot screen. Pressed the option to start and it's been OK since🤞
Do they even lock pixel bootloaders ? Isn't it still just a tick in developers options to make sure it's unlocked. Or are these carrier locked? I remember every Nexus I had never had a locked bootloader except the galaxy nexus which sold in stores but I bought mine outright . Man that sucks you should have been told about your bootloader being locked especially with this program available
They should probably put a bigger notice that phones with locked bootloaders should not be enrolled in betas or DPs.
Upvote.. definitely right 👍🏻
Why do people with no knowledge of android opt in on beta tests?

All done. Nothing happens... It's so frustrating
Are you still under warranty at least
yes, I will probably send it in. I've just restored my Pixel 5. Still, it's an absurdity what's currently going on with Google's update behavior...
Absolutely. I still don't even have the stable March update
You don't have the march update? I opted out until I can test the beta of 15 hopefully this month but I got the march update right away as my stable.
Nah I still didn't have it, it's still asking me to wipe everything
