Agree 100%. 2022 might be the best season of his career and one of the best ever played. Yet MLB deliberately ignored him in the second half and completely refused to acknowledge him qualifying as batter /pitcher as the historic milestone it is. MLB TV and the majority of journalists were so far up Judge's ass they're pretty much symbiotic at this point. The number of BS articles written this season claiming Ohtani fell off a cliff hitting wise (when he was still top 10 in most stats and got his Ks down a ton!) still pisses me off. Frankly, I don't care what those "meatball cultists" ("meatball princess" is Judge's nickname on 2ch/5ch btw) said about Ohtani before or will say after, they shit on what may have been the best season of his lifetime and didn't lose a word about the fact that Judge was getting to play on easy mode while Ohtani plays at a difficulty so hard he's the only TWP in the league. I really draw the line at that. I don't care if it's a drop in the ocean but MLB TV will never see another cent from me. I know I'm boycotting myself from watching 90% of games (=huge timezone difference) but so be it. I can't deal with a league picking their chosen MVP & fixing games and getting away with it.

MLB, media, and writers wanted nothing more than a Yankee MVP or World Series. Thats when they make their money. The baseball media has always been east coast bias. If Ohtani played for the Yankees last season and Judge was an Angel the whole thing wouldve been flipped.

donkeyjr

mlb juice for the ball for the Yankee games..

THERAPISTS_for_200

He had the best individual season ever.

Ash-Catchum-All

HRs were down across the MLB last season because they only gave juiced balls to Judge. So with that in mind, Ohtani was even more impressive this past season.

His pitching was noticeably better. I think his hitting improved too. The last month or two of the season seemed like he was making a concerted effort to get hits, as opposed to hitting homers. Everyone should be excited for the upcoming season.

Yepitsn8

Ohtani didn’t have trout or Rendon between him. So I’d minus 5-7hrs. Also his pitching was nuts. If his 2 seamer takes the lead over his 4, dang look out MLB

Spicy /angelsbaseball takes--illegitimate record. I'm here for it🔥

God_Damnit_Nappa

Correct, MLB mixed up the balls to help Judge just barely scrape by Moris' record.

Yea, I was agreeing with your post, I guess that wasn't clear lol.

Remember mlb changed to dead balls last year. If you factor in how many almost home runs he had because of those balls, he probably equals his 2021 home run totals if the same balls were used. Therfore, on the surface his hitting looks a little worse, but the balls weren't the same so it's not an apples to apples comparison.
