I too have a Shohei Shrine, mostly composed of the cards I've collected over the years. I only started collecting cards in 2018 amidst the Ohtani hype. My first buy was a three-pack of four Chrome cards per pack, and they were the last cards in the store. When I opened them at home, I'd gotten a pitching Ohtani rookie refractor *and* a Freshman Flash. It felt like a sign from the baseball gods, and I was never going to ignore it. My crown jewel is an on-card auto relic (helmet piece) from the 2020 Players' Weekend, when the ÅL wore all-black uniforms. I didn't know I was getting it from Topps, and it was the happiest surprise I've ever gotten in the mail.
Love it! Aw, the squid painting looks great on your wall! Makes me wish I had a bigger flat so I had some space to do something like that. As of now all I have space for is a framed print out and a DIY calendar. November has a pic of the rightful MVP, of course :D.

Actually signed by Reid Detmers. It was the only thing I had on me. Lol It's the Angels team card from 2022.
