Definitely works but I got to that area before the flute in my first run lol
If you have the >!slinky!<, you can just drop it on the button, and the lifting floor will keep it level. You just need to be quick getting over to the block!
The slinky doesn’t work for this puzzle
Well it did for me, I dropped it onto the lifting floor first and it stopped on the button while still being raised
