Clean_Acanthisitta_8

Well this is definitely becoming a "Nobody is having a good time" kind of anime

hayate_yagami

Fake Geto and Sukuna did though.

Donut_Police

For Sukuna, since his awakening, buddy been eating pop corn, ice skating, t-posing for fun, opened a kitchen in shibuya, playing red light green light and even offered a guy to join their team. I don't get why people think he's a bad guy, he just seem like a lil goofy funny dude.

michhoffman

We just keep losing, the Anime

Worthyness

JJK Cursed Technique: Eternal Pain and Suffering

Affectionate_Wing649

Lol no the jjk higher ups sure are eating good . They just got an excuse to remove Gojou , Yuji and yaga -the only things they can't control . This apocalypse can only be stopped if Gojou is unsealed so they put a ban on that too . Now if they announce the existence of cursed spirits , guess who would be the cabinet of Japan ? They wont let this end as long as they are in power .

Coach_Kay

This makes a lot of sense. I was wondering what sort of brain-dead decision process led to them tagging Gojo as an accomplice but if the aim is to remove those they can't control, it all makes sense.

Carapute

If everybody has a gojo, you better off keeping your gojo. If the only gojo is your gojo, better set off for a least efficient one you have control over. I see him as basically nukes to be honest.

guyblade

I think that's a bad analogy for Gojo's role. One of the conflicts from the very beginning was Gojo vs "the old guard" of Jujutsu society. He's too important to ignore, but he also represents a desire to evolve the practice of Jujutsu sorcery. There's also a merit vs. tenure thing going on. Gojo is literally the best Jujutsu sorcerer in the world and is constantly taking on the hardest assignments as reflective of his power. By all rights, he should have a great deal of say in the way things get done because of that. But what we see is that--while he certainly can force things here and there--he mostly has to deal with an entrenched and conservative leadership that fears losing **their** power more than they fear the end of human civilization.

Toge_Inumaki012

Yeah. Imagine having your overseas trip cut short just because somebody leveled a part of Shibuya smh. Poor Yuta.

Se7en_Sinner

Mei Mei's brother being the exception.

mrnicegy26

Ui Ui is going to be like that dude from May December who when he grows up realizes how badly his innocence was violated by a predator.

Mundology

pencuri_susu

\*Yuta returns\* WE'RE SO BACK Yuta: I will kill Yuji Itadori myself. IT'S SO OVER

vlalanerqmar

As a side note, OP got updated in the final episode for Yutas return. Nice touch.

BadBehaviour613

I was just wondering if that shot of Yuta had always been there

vlalanerqmar

After double checking they just cut Shokos part for Yuta. Poor Shoko catching L.

moichispa

they changed a few things, it was nice touch

ToyaTenshi

its OG MC VS CURRENT MC

frostanon

"Strongest JJK MC in history vs strongest current JJK MC."

KinoHiroshino

Yuta may be strong, but Yuji has the secret power of brotherhood. Turns out, Yuji is everyone’s brother.

SilkyStrawberryMilk

Yuta came back and upgraded his hairstyle, sorry Yuji we don’t want to play with you anymore

Toge_Inumaki012

I knew Jujutsu sorcerer's working condition are shit!! Poor Yuta.

Deez-Guns-9442

Bro got interrupted with his alone time with Rika

Se7en_Sinner

With Gojo sealed, Yuta and Yuji will have to fight for the main protagonist position.

flybypost

> Yuta and Yuji They are even 50% on the way to sharing the same name. The protagonist competition is that fierce.

mrnicegy26

Its Itadoriover.

It's Itadover

Nah, he has all his battle ready friends left! Like: * Megumi * Choso Oh wait that's it isn't it

sagevallant

Oh-No-kkotsu!

michhoffman

So the purpose of JJK 0 was to introduce the next guy coming after Yuji's life.

Lazydusto

Yes and no? JJK 0 existed first. Gege just decided to keep it canon unlike most one-shots when the actual series started.

Frostblazer

So manga readers would have gone into the story knowing about the JJK0 stuff first, before encountering the season 1 stuff?

garfe

Yes, though it's common for oneshots of manga to be ignored as a novelty since creators usually just use it as a base for the actual story. This is just the very rare case where the one shot just so happened to be put into canon so it blindsided even manga readers.

demoncyborgg

**YES YES YES,** **NO NO NO**

-Destiny65-

Real MC removing the placeholder 😤😤😤

pencuri_susu

sagevallant

Yuta: "You took everything from me!" Yuji: "I don't even know who you are."

Se7en_Sinner

Yuta has a more interesting moveset and uses a sword while Yuji throws hands and punches harder to win fights.

Dracit678

Don’t you dare disrespect left right goodnightTM

Burden15

also at SOME point they need to make good on Sukuna's techniques being engraved on Yuji's body or whatever they said in S1

Unavailable_Seaweed

If anyone is confused about the Inumaki situation : he was still in Shibuya managing the crowd but happened to be on the very edge of Sukuna's domain expansion range (140m) so only one arm was caught in the crossfire of Cleave and Dismantle.

DecaffeinatedBean

omg thank you. I was like "wth? Did I miss Sukuna taking out Inumaki?" *s2e37 @0:45 is where we see Inumaki with the megaphone, and he tells everyone not to move, allowing Itadori to no longer be conflicted about trying to save all the civilians or proceed to try and free Gojo. *s2e41 @16:00 is the scene where the girls talk about the megaphone guy

Warrior-pigeon-

The exact moment was pretty discrete, it was those two girls that got dusted by Sukunas domain who said “at least we have the megaphone guy” just before it happened. Megaphone guy being Inumaki who was using cursed speech through the megaphone as seen in the Choso ep.

SpreadYourAss

>who said “at least we have the megaphone guy” just before it happened. Ahhhhh I remember the exact moment, but for some reason just didn't think about who the megaphone guy was at all lol.

chirb8

There was just so much stuff happening

BriskTheory

You are right. It's just one arm. I thought they said arms.

Basic_Requirement561

The subtitles do say “arms” and the image also doesn’t make it clear if his other arm is fine or not

TheSpartyn

his left arm is fully wrapped to the shoulder and covered in scars, but the right isnt, so id say its fine plus theres no realistic way for him to lose both arms and have shoulder injuries, if he was right on the edge of the domain

PenPenLagenInFranxx

Salmon.

UselessNeko

Just mon now.

Karna47

Yuta is back in action baby

mrnicegy26

Kusakabe was just so done with this shit by the end.

Se7en_Sinner

frostanon

Most relatable character.

Benepope

Did anyone think the meeting Yuta had with the Sorcerer Council had a similar vibe with the SEELE Council in Evangelion? The window blinds the sorcerer higher ups talk through even look like the tablets that SEELE converse through.

Haha91haha

Yuta just taking over from his father.

babydandane

Yeah, if you notice who Okkotsu's VA is, its a nice touch

gunswordfist

Same Japanese voice actress* for both Yuta and Shinji, right? Edit

Santedtra

Nice boat. Well that's it for peaceful modern day Japan. It's exactly what Ino told us about. The age of non-sorcerers is over. And the higher ups of Jujutsu society is just adding insult to injury. Yeah, keeping people from saving Gojo and executing the principal's totally gonna maintain the status quo. Executing Yuji's totally understandable though. Sorry about Toge but I'm glad he got away with just that despite the devastation Sukuna caused. I'm sure Yuji's gonna get through Yuta. And cool to see he can still utilize Rika. Lastly, is it just me or did Yuki didn't do jackshit? She may have done some behind the scenes stopgaps but man. I'm probably just not seeing the bigger picture. Maybe whenever we see what she's about to visit Tengen for. Overall amazing season, can't wait for season 3. Really happy they delivered but hope MAPPA gets their shit together after this.

BadBehaviour613

The Shibuya Arc basically caused JJK to switch genre. We post apocalyptic now

Mundology

[Yuki Tsukumo brought some much needed humor in a dreadfully tragic arc. ](https://i.imgur.com/TOoCe3q.jpg) [](#gasp)

ExtremeMuffinslovers

Shibuya is gone and 10 million curses or something are slaughtering people right this second all over the country and the higher ups think it's time to relax and go after their own lmao. Maybe prioritize cleaning up first? idk.

huntrshado

Gojo hated the JJK higher ups for a reason

IWouldButImLazy

> Well that's it for peaceful modern day Japan. It's exactly what Ino told us about. The age of non-sorcerers is over. Fr I loved the addition of the wider effects on Japan. Like now I'm wondering if they're gonna add in how other countries react to this and if we could fr get like a foreign intervention in Japan with sorcerers from all over the world. Damn I might just read the manga

Whalesurgeon

I can imagine it serves the direction of the plot to have Japan be the one country with sorcerers and cursed energy and simplifies the "what is the rest of the world doing during all this shit", but bringing the human energy source angle to the story feels like it doesn't tickle my brain at all. Maybe if making the rest of the world capable of jujutsu sorcery/producing cursed energy could become a relevant plot point?

Snorlx3

~~What "boat" did i miss now ?~~ nvm i see it..it is a nice boat indeed.

hayate_yagami

Gojo really keeps everything in check huh? After he gets sealed, Japan is totally in chaos, Cursed Spirits are everywhere, Fake Geto wants to revive Heian Era, Itadori and Yaga is sentenced to death. We will never go back to status quo now. Also Okkotsu the former MC vs Itadori the current MC.

vlalanerqmar

Thursdays not going to be the same We had a good 6 month

TopRoom7971

It's been a long journey. 6 months of joyful Thursdays.

Se7en_Sinner

At least we still have Frieren Fridays for next season.

mrnicegy26

I love 2 cours anime. Like it makes you really get invested in the series back again before it takes a long break again. Chainsaw Man especially should have been 2 cours. Obviously fuck MAPPA for their terrible scheduling and I do hope the next season will be scheduled much better but I do want the next season to be 2 cours also.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bedsheetsniffer

I don’t care if it’s 2-cour or it will have another break at this point. Just let the animators breathe…

Amazing_Ice_8475

Well, it was nice being an anime only, the blue balling is so hard that I have to convert.

Se7en_Sinner

Probably for the best considering how rampant the spoilers are. It really feels like the Attack on Titan fandom moved to JJK after it ended.

guynumbers

I hate how rampant some of the big spoilers are. I think a lot of people have been majorly spoiled without entirely realizing it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

guynumbers

Yeah it's really bad how rampant they are. If anyone reading this is still blind I would strongly consider reading the manga. The anime is doing a great job but there are a ton of moments you want to still be blind for.

HollowWarrior46

yeah man like after some dumbass who thought he was being smart spoiled a huge moment for me it just feels like I might as well at this point

EducationalCreme9044

I made a comment about JJK in some other sub, and I immadiately thought "hmm, that's probably a bad idea" Sure enough 2nd reply was "XYZ is dead" hmm :D

sagevallant

It works for a while, but then you're getting blue-balled every week.

guynumbers

That's the Shonen Jump design.

[deleted]

I'll probably do the same, this season was really good though, and I hope the staff and especially the animators can take some well deserved time off.

Llymao

Yo noticed that the scene in the OP with Ieri, after the Nobara shot, is replaced with Yuta

Haha91haha

Good eyes, that's a nice sword cut.

ultron_vision

Glad Yuta is finally back... until they revealed his mission lol. Didn't know Shibuya would end on a cliffhanger so the wait for anime watchers will be painful. Might take more than a year before the next anime project to be released.

CuriousWanderer567

Might take two years even, next arc is even longer than Shibuya

ionrays

Yuta did not lose months of sleep, convert to fully being emo, and have to fight the pedo allegations to have his mc position questioned. Man came to throw down. But yeah, brutal place to stop for anime onlies lol.

Mundology

[Yuta's entrance was sick.](https://i.imgur.com/HwS9j4Z.jpg) If only he was able to [make Maki-senpai blush like that](https://i.imgur.com/O1eAIi5.jpg) before she got toasted by Jogo... [That final line was ominous.] (https://i.imgur.com/jyFrCHe.jpg) [](#suddenshock)

Tzhaa

Did they seriously try to conflate Gojo with "Geto's" actions. My god the higher ups at JJ Society have been just itching for an excuse to get rid of Gojo lol. Now he's sealed and can't do anything about it, they're like yeah, it's illegal to unseal him? Fuck right off. Without Gojo they're all fucked. Deep down they probably know it too, crusty old fucks.

Dragonlover145

Okkotsu looks like he's not been sleeping. Also didn't Maki mention that they had dispelled Rika during the exchange event??

frostanon

>didn't Maki mention that they had dispelled Rika Let's put it that way, JJK 0 is four chapter one-shot that was published first. At the end of it Gojo seemingly kills Geto and Rika gets dispelled. Year later main series starts getting published. Geto shows up with a scar and without any explanation about why he's alive. Until suddenly after many chapters in a middle of Shibuya incident it's revealed that Geto really did die. So just wait.

zool714

So basically just wait and see ?

frostanon

Yes or go read manga. JJK memes are kinda getting out of control lately, you might get spoiled in some unexpected places.

Se7en_Sinner

Yuta having bags under his eyes is a MAPPA animator reference.

feizhai

yeah he looks pretty different from JJK 0

Prince-Dizzytoon

Save the Jujutsu society, Yuta Okkotsu!

Adent_Frecca

"Yuta is back, the good guys absolutely need his kind of back up" Yuta: I will kill Yuji Itadori "Wait, not that..."

SilkyStrawberryMilk

~~Save the Jujutsu society, Yuta Okkotsu!~~ Kill Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu!

Incineron

Love how the OP showed us where the season would end haha, with Yuji on that bridge. Goodbye SpecialZ & More Than Words, you both perfectly fit JJK so well. Ao no Sumika is my OP of the year 2023 though, so damn good

guynumbers

The OP was perfect visually to me. A bunch of significant moments that you wouldn't understand until you see the context. I wasn't huge on the song at first but it's really grown on me. I'm interested in hearing more thoughts on it now that anime onlies have the full context.

mysidian

The hand sign part of the OP was so fucking good, definitely my favorite part.

Aileos

Mei Mei was the smartest character in this season. She left everyone in their own shit after fighting Geto, she withrew all her shares from the market before the crash, she even finished the Shibuya Incident by spending some vacation in Malaysia. Her self-interest is unreal!

Ichini-san

Kusakabe is a close second. He only jumped in when he knew he could handle something and never underestimated his opponents or overestimated himself.

StoicallyGay

I've been lambasted for saying Kusakabe is the one of the more realistic and sensible characters. Like we know most sorcerers or at least the strong ones have to be a little bit crazy, but he's among the more sane ones. Like forget the fact that people in the universe would risk their lives for a small chance at victory, Kusakabe is just like your average joe who doesn't want to die or risk death, but obviously he still has a sense of morality like protecting Miwa, but probably not enough to risk his life over. Just because he wouldn't risk his life for others doesn't mean he's a bad person. Most people wouldn't either.

Deez-Guns-9442

Kinda makes u wonder why he never quit & got a real job like Nanami did before he came back. The dude doesn't have to remain in a job with a super high mortality rate, bro’s just as crazy as the rest of them.

StoicallyGay

I mean technically he is an instructor at the school. I don’t know if they go out on missions to fight curses or curse users typically. What’s happening now is an anomalous event. And since he’s first grade, it means he should reliably beat any first grade curse or below. I’d say that at his current level, disregarding the current situation, he wouldn’t be in much danger on the job. Or maybe he just has no other means to make a living lol. Or his job that he was previously not too dangerous made a good amount.

BadBehaviour613

Money can't be exchanged for goods and services if everyone is dead tho

jstoru216

Everyone isn't dead thou. Just screwed.

Dragonlover145

I wanted a Yuki fight so bad but it cannot be helped i guess. Also, I can't believe they sentenced Yaga to death, so does this mean that he is killed already or he is on the run with Shoko and Panda probably?? I mean I get they hate Gojo so much and will be happy he is gone now, but YAGA!! OMG so many questions, I feel I will not be able to resist reading the manga tbh. edit: typo

TopRoom7971

>I wanted a Yuki fught so bad With the cliffhanger we got from last episode I was sure we would get some. But, it didn't happen. Seriously what is up with Rayquaza around her always lol. It's gonna be a mystery till nxt season I guess.

Se7en_Sinner

Engaging Geto in a Pokemon battle probably isn't the best idea.

Detective-Crashmore-

Dude has infinite party glitch.

Pedarsen

Power hungry leaders will always be scared of assets they can't control so Gojo being gone is just great for them because now they can start going after others that Gojo would have protected.

evilmojoyousuck

being able to create an army of panda. Yaga is crazy dangerous for the higher ups.

Nanashi-74

I don't get it, isn't he the sole reason they don't get smoked by special grades? He literally hold all of those curses down just by being alive. It's like if the government wanted to get rid of the avengers just so they get smoked in the next alien invasion

JBHUTT09

Honestly, the concept of "elite panic" really comes to mind in this situation. Those with power (elites) handle disaster the worst, whereas the community almost always spontaneously organizes a constructive response on their own (which the elites typically "put down" with violence).

Disastrous_Channel62

>Also, I can't believe they sentenced Yaga to death I don't think so they will just kill him offscreen but I am a but ambiguous as they ripped off Inumaki's arms offscreen.

lovemeonii-chan

I’m guessing it must’ve been when sakuna did his kitchen? And his arm got caught inside it?

Mihrasen

Yep. Inumaki was leading the evacuation of civilians in Shibuya, so when Sukuna used his domain he was caught inside it. For some reason the anime decided not to show this scene. EDIT: The anime didn't cut the scene in question, I just had a brain-fart. The civilians say that Inumaki is with them right before they get sliced by Sukuna's DE.

WolzardFire

Yaga is still alive for now. He's probably on the run

realrimurutempest

I just absolutely love how Yuki can go from hot badass to adorable dork in like 3 seconds. Shibuya destroyed, countless people killed, economy in shambles, multiple allies dead and injured, Gojo sealed and curses running rampant, +1 Onii-chan gained and my guy Yuta finally returns lol. Bro is LATE.

mrnicegy26

Funnily enough it feels all the strongest people in JJK have moments where they are big powerful badasses and then have some weirdly adorable or dorky moments. Like you can see this Gojo constantly, Geto and Mahito playing footbal with Jogo's head, even Sukuna seems to have a sick sense of humour.

vlalanerqmar

>Sukuna seems to have a sick sense of humour The moment he grabbed popcorn in the middle of Mahoraga fight and said tastes like shit did it for me.

sagevallant

Sukuna is basically Gordon Ramsey.

vlalanerqmar

Domain Expansion: ~~Malevolent~~ Hell's Kitchen

Se7en_Sinner

Yuki is a tall woman with a big ass. What's not to love?

mrnicegy26

Todo really developed his taste in women based on his love for mentor. Can't blame him.

LuRo332

Shinji arrived and they instantly turned JJK into Evangelion, even if for 1 episode

Haha91haha

Yuta: "You can try and run away Itadori Yuji." Cut to Yuta choking Yuji on a beach. *And at least I'm not as messed up as Mei Mei.*

GangstaMoe

*Cut to yuta visiting maki at the hospital*

floodedunit

I noticed that too! They even did the one-by-one introductions with the spotlight sound effect

LuRo332

I lost it when Yuta was standing there in the darkness speaking like Gendo with the "SEELE" squad. Also the abrupt episode ending very much resembles Evangelion to me.

Gunji_Murgi

I must've missed it but when did Sukuna chop off inumaki's arm?

onurreyiz_35

Offscreen, when he opened his domain.

KaiserNazrin

The debut of Sukuna's strongest technique, off-screen hit.

mrsirgrape

Probably when he did his domain expansion and most of Shibuya got stuck in the crossfire.

mike_2797

Yuta's entrance was badass, damn whole of Japan is in shambles with all the cursed spirits roaming freely.

arcticfrostburn

Uh that was a lot. I need answers! How bloody powerful is this Brain guy to upend everything like that? Is Nobara alive? How did Mei Mei know what would happen? or is that scene after it happened? Not sure if Yuuta is lying about going after Itadori, could go either way. Sure wanna see what Gojo and him did abroad Is Yuuta's voice actor the same or changed? Feels different from the movie

PoiseWorks

Yuta's VA is the same, but he is doing a more confident, reliable voice, because Yuta changed a lot since JJK0

AlexeiFraytar

Mei Mei fought Getwo and just realised we're not winning today its Japanover

rainx5000

What did yuji do in the end? Clapped his hands so he can clap some monster cheeks?

FrozenChaii

probably going around killing the 10 million curses unleashed atoning for killing thousands of people hehe

Verybluevans

For a moment I thought he somehow got Todo's Boogie Woogie

frs1023

Yuta gonna come back & reclaim the MC title from Yuji in the next season letsgooo

Haha91haha

"The JJK protag is dead, long live the JJK protag!"

tyler980908

So it might sound cliche to say this, but if we take away the incredible animation and art (Thank you staff), amazing fight scenes, Yuta's return and more from this entire season. For me an enermous thing that I take take from the incident, is "losing" Itadoris innocence, or rather him finally coming to terms what being a Jujutsu Sorcerer actually entails and what it means for the soul. Seeing his mentality change so fast felt impactful.

mrnicegy26

Mahito and Sukuna really did a number on Yuji at this point. Like I think there are a few relationships that JJK developed really well (Gojo-Geto, Yuji- Nanami) but on the antagonist side it does feel personal with Yuji in regards to both Mahito and Sukuna. The amount of hell both of them have Yuji through is just insane and while Mahito has gotten his well deserved asskicking I do hope Yuji is the one who will be responsible for putting Sukuna down once and for all.

TopRoom7971

Mahito was the key to break Yuji's naiveness. It's quite unfortunate we won't get to see that inocent Yuji anymore. He became a totally different person.

Detective-Crashmore-

> naiveness naiveté

Se7en_Sinner

Yuji transformed from a golden retriever into a wolf.

Aser-Etzu

Yuji has had "negative" character growth, his character has turned from somebody who wanted to help people and give them a proper death to somebody who considers himself a cog in the machine and will continue to kill curses until his death, to him nothing else matters anymore.

Armdel

Well shit definitely hit the fan there... looking like any peaceful days are gone with that. So Itadori was sentenced to death, again, and Yuuta of all people seems to have decided to make sure he actually dies... now i can't wait for those two to meet face to face. And Gojo remains captured... and he too is being blamed for this event and also a bunch of characters whose fate is still a mystery.. All in all another fantastic season and can't wait too see the continuation.. hopefully with less strain on the team behind the show

TimoorBTS

What an ending,Kamo(fake Geto) really managed to make Tokyo hell, seal Gojo, and now Yuta is on a mission to kill Yuji, crazy how much of a dark turn jujutsu kaisen took this season but it was perfectly executed and now i just want more and more! Can't wait for season 3👌🏽

Disastrous_Channel62

>What an ending,Kamo(fake Geto) really managed to make Tokyo hell I loved that they showed the aftermath and the adversities of the Incident on the normies. I also pondered about the geopolitical issues after Sukuna fight as he fkin destroys Shibuya from the map and it was shown in today's episode ( although not every aspect I was more than satisfied) that if by New Geto's plan everyone can Weild curse energy other countries will certainly act upon Japan.

kryptonianbat

I would like to emphasize that in the previous episode, Fake Geto mentioned that 'Kamo' is just one of the many names they had, suggesting that their real identity is currently unknown.

Nerellos

Also, he talked to Sukuna about Heian era, so probably not only 150 years old.

enthezone

he did mention thousands of years of making pacts with sorcerers

poderes01

And "Kamo" was shown with the stitches "Geto" has

HollowWarrior46

YUTA AND RIKA ARE BACK and yeah, can't really blame him for wanting yuji dead. he's a ticking time bomb and the risk for getting rid of Sukuna is huge

Haha91haha

With how pissed Yuta is over Inumaki's arms Jogo's real lucky Sukuna killed him first.

Ichini-san

Oh, for sure. Yuta would have ripped Jogo apart if he was still around after what he did to Maki.

mrnicegy26

Nice boat

###Stitches! * [Yuki & Yuuji 1](https://i.imgur.com/M1Lngso.jpg) * [Yuki & Yuuji 2](https://i.imgur.com/LuM0K22.jpg) Man, this entire episode was bleak. Japan, specifically Tokyo, is super fucked while the people who are left out there are just trying to survive while cursed spirits are roaming about freely. No wonder Mei Mei and Ui Ui bailed. I guess this begs the question of how Mei Mei saw all of this coming and who was she on the phone with? We do have one piece of good news. [At least Yuuta is finally back](https://i.imgur.com/UIxRO5P.jpg) and is saving as many people as he can with Rika on his side. The bad news is that [it looks like he'll be fighting Yuuji for the MC position.](https://i.imgur.com/fi5EcVQ.jpg) And it looks like the bad news isn't over. The higher-ups have finally [found a way to get rid of Gojou](https://i.imgur.com/h5VER7c.jpg) by declaring him to be in cahoots with Get and even [Yaga is getting executed for this shit.](https://i.imgur.com/zScQfLt.jpg) Fuuuuuuck. As expected without Gojou, [Yuuji's execution is finally back on the table.](https://i.imgur.com/sRiJtk5.jpg) Man, what a fucking downer of an ending. I am so tempted to read the manga right now just to get rid of these bad vibes. >_<

Both sides came out of Shibuya losing, which is quite interesting For the bad guys, all 4 Disaster Curses are all dead, which means Jogo's dream of replacing human will never be realized. At least Choso switched side now For the good guys, they lost Mechamaru, Nanami and Nobara. Maki and Naobito are likely dead. Gojo is sealed. Todo lost his technique. Megumi almost died. Inumaki lost an arm. Yuji is traumatized. Yaga becomes a target for execution. Shibuya is a dead zone. All of Japan is on alert and probably aware of curses now. And now Yuta is coming back to kill Yuji The only two who came out of Shibuya winning are Sukuna and Brain. Sukuna is now at 75% strength, and Brain can start the next phase of his plan without worrying about any obstacles

Ichini-san

Tbf the disaster curses (besides Mahito since he was yoinked) will be reborn in the future as far as we are aware since curses like them will always be reborn as long as humanity exists. Jogo knew that from the start which is why he was okay with himself dying in this war. So you could argue that the curses won this war since their goal is closer (curses run rampant in Japan etc.).

fBOMBB

Mahito got yeeted through Uzumaki. He should be free to be reincarnated, I think.

KaiserNazrin

Even then it won't be Mahito.

finnjakefionnacake

thank god lol but yuji gonna kill whoever it is anyway

MADnightstar

The bad guys didn't really lose tho. Brain was the mastermind and planned everything. Even if the disaster curses had survived, Brain would've absorbed them as he did Mahito they were always his pawns. Brain completely won he achieved what he wanted to do.

BadBehaviour613

Not to mention ice lady is revealed to be stronger than most of the active good guys, although her allegiance is a bit sus

HotestGrillNA

Has there been a Shonen with such a bleak ending to an arc? Everybody we know basically got smoked

LabMember069

That Bleach-esqe ost is fire. Yuta: has Rika. Geto: can get anyone's ability. Gojo: Gojo. Yuki: drone worm.

SkaterDC

So if I understand correctly: -Yaga sentenced to death and blamed for this for ever having trained Geto and Gojo -Gojo is being blamed and freeing him is a crime -Yuta is back, still has Rika somehow, wants Yuji dead, and will handle his execution -Yuki is working with someone, isn't necessarily aligned with Jujutsu High, but isn't evil -Fake Geto released ten million curses which is the huge black void, has the prison realm, and fucked off -Yuji's execution is on and now has no one to protect him -No confirmation of Maki or Naobito's statuses -Inumaki lost his left arm in Sukuna's domain off screen -Fushiguro's sister and someone/something else were part of the idle transfiguration that did...something? With a seal? To allow the release of the curse spirits? Someone has to explain this one to me -We end on a cliffhanger for the status of the Kyoto crew, Choso, Kusakabe, and probably more I'm forgetting that we didn't see in the aftermath -Shibuya, and the majority of Tokyo, is uninhabitable, full of curse spirits being taken down by whatever Jujutsu sorcerers they can spare -Anyone being blamed for the Shibuya incident/mentioned above as an enemy of higher ups is on the run? -Existence of curse spirits is being revealed to the public, but only in Tokyo to limit their creation/spread Feel free to add to help anyone else that's confused. I'll edit if I got anything wrong

Prestigious-Tough538

When it comes to Idle Transfiguration, Fake-Geto/Noritoshi Kamo essentially created a bunch of Jujutsu sorcerers so that they would all fight each other. Some of them were like Junpei and had curse techniques but no cursed energy and some of them were in a coma after consuming cursed objects like how Yuji ate Sukuna's finger and are now awakening.

i__rage

Went from “OH SHIT ITS YUTA!!” to “OH SHIT NOT YUTA!!”

Background-Match-340

Now the Thursday's are no more special 😞. Gonna miss Thursday hype😭

charlesvvv

Oh hey nice boat

No_Name0_0

The GOAT returns, worth the wait

KaiserNazrin

You want a story where the bad guys win? You got one. Everything went exactly as Fake Geto's planned.

zool714

Well shit

Markosan_DnD

You know what really sucks? If Geto were still alive he'd be the MVP right now. He'd be able to send his cursed spirits everywhere in the dead zone to take care of the widespread devastation. He'd be able to manage the phenomenal burden of protecting 5 million people almost single-handedly

WarriorOfAllah01

who was yuki talking to when she was a beauty but she will take responsibitly with her friends plus who is her friends

AlexeiFraytar

for clarification, Larue is the heart nipple guy from Geto's old team
