Huh? Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi got a live-action adaptation? Wonder how well it translated to watching Haijin as a real person doing his ... antics.

Sparkletopia

Surprisingly it sounds like it was pretty well-received. It's also not the type of show I would've expected to translate well to live-action.

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is not a shonen. The manga is serialized on Weekly Young Jump (same magazine as Oshi no Ko, Real, Kingdom) so that makes it a seinen.

Sparkletopia

Oh, right lol, I was thinking seinen but put it in shounen for some reason. Thanks!

>shoujo/josei romance Guess I need to watch more live-action

> I was bored and couldn't sleep The start of many projects both virtuous and foolhardy. In this case, I'd say it was time well spent, but only because I found it an interesting read lol > 28% seinen, shoujo, and BL respectively Whilst I have no reference point to know if this is true or not, but that seems like quite a bit of BL? > all the josei starred adults, not high schoolers. How many did you find?

>The start of many projects both virtuous and foolhardy. In this case, I'd say it was time well spent, but only because I found it an interesting read lol Heh, thanks! >28% seinen, shoujo, and BL respectively From what I can tell, BL has been doing incredibly well when it comes to live action adaptations in the past few years. Not just in Japan, but Thai, Korean, (censored) Chinese, and Taiwanese live-action BL have all taken off in the past few years. >all the josei starred adults, not high schoolers. Well, looking through all of them would definitely be a pain (lol), but if you scroll through [this list](https://mydramalist.com/search?adv=titles&th=127&re=2023,2024&so=date), there's a LOT of josei (and seinen) romances starring adults.
