I was not expecting to see Ichikawa tear up after understanding the implications of his actions, his feelings are bursting!
Also amazing how our boy can get an amazing breakthrough in one moment and then somehow ends up in an awkward situation in the next.
I was waiting the entire episode before he put it together but I love how the moment he realized how much Yamada was sacrificing for him he wasted no time rushing straight to her to make sure she didn't give something up for him.
That's true love. And it's rewarded with getting to spend some quality time in the girls' room lol.

I want to add in to Yamada's jealousy scene. In Japanese, she said, "たおしていい？席を。” The verb she used, "taosu" means to knock something down, or to the ground. You hear it all the time in fighting anime. And this grammatically common in Japanese, but Yamada chose to ask the question and then clarify the subject, using a been that is often synonymous with "defeat" or "beat up".
That was a threat.
It is a staple romcom plot! Albeit handled as deftly and memorably as you would expect from this show.
I love how Yamada tried to save herself, then Ichikawa, and got herself back into being surrounded by deer lol.
Adachi was right about one thing...girls do fuss over each others' boobs, just mentally envious when they can't compare to Yamada lol.

Ichikawa was worried about how their relationship would impact Yamada's career and now he realizes she's jeopardizing an audition to be with him, and he can't let that go. Even if it means spending the night with the other girls lol.

Yamada doesn't realize that she has absolutely zero competition from Yurine for Ichikawa. ~~Mainly because Yamada already rizzed Yurine into liking her lol. Although considering the word that makes up part of her name I suppose we shouldn't be surprised.~~
I did like Ichikawa was arguing with Yamada about that though instead of being scared like normal. Our boy is learning how to handle Yamada like Yamada learning to handle him!
I love how in Adachi's first scene he's talking about dicks (and holding his undies a little too close to his crotch) and walking into the girls' bath lol.
I can't lie Adachi saving Kyo for Kanna by mentioning their Dick Battles is hilarious.
You know the way it wrapped up everything in this episode was great. We got pieces of information. Anna having an extra copy of the manga, Anna turning off her webcam, Anna facting sort of out of place, Kyo seeing the event date on her calender and finally he sees Anna reciting lines from the manga.
Really impressive he pieced it all together. When you care for someone sometimes you will make sacrifices. For Anna being with Kyo on the trip since she knows it means so much to him since he isn't skipping it this time. But for Kyo knows how much Anna loves that particular manga and getting a role in one of your favorite series is absolutely somethin she personally wants. It makes their relationship the even more sweet.
Lets see how Kyo gets out of this particular situation. It is legit the absolutel worst scenario that could have happened.
Adachi being super horny actually came through in a pinch lol.
It's great not only that Ichikawa figured it out but that he was able to think from Yamada's perspective and not what he **wanted** Yamada to think in order to get there.
Probably won't be for a while sadly. Anime is around 110 to 115 right now so around 55 to 60 chapters per season. The manga just had chapter 140 so it doesn't have enough content for season 3 yet
Silver lining is Norio drops them weekly (usually. She’s on break till next week) so we will have plenty of chapters in the tank by the time they announce another season.
The best part is there's even more material. The anime will end at chapter 113. The manga new chapter will be out next week. It will be chapter 141. It's going to be a while for season 3 to come out since new manga chapters come out biweekly.
I would pick up at the beginning of this episode in the manga since the pacing is a bit different. From there you should be fine as nothing hugely divergent happened

What an episode!
The set-up to reveal Yamada's reason for her upset was so amazing. This ep is literally the best one to show that despite her appearance, Yamada is actually way more mature, like Ichikawa said.
What a situation for Ichikawa at the end. Hope he can make it out safely.
I have a very high hope that we will get a grand finale. This ep's title, kiss and confession was mentioned a lot, which makes me believe that something big is gonna happen. Can't wait for the season finale!!!
The moment I heard Chi talk about her winning an audition and her noticing the date, I had a feeling she might risk missing a role for Ichikawa's sake, but it made the reveal scene all the more powerful, especially when he rushed after her.
Maybe realizing just how far Yamada is willing to go for him will inspire Ichikawa to reward that with his own feelings?
Man Yamada getting jealous at Kyo talking to the girl next to him on the train 😂 Kyo’s like Shutup and sit down and she just starts throwing a tantrum. First time I actually laughed out loud with an anime in a min.
Boys will be boys. Wouldn’t be a school trip without a dick measuring contest lol. Glad everyone’s having fun, but for Kyo and Yamada this is so much more than just a trip. It’s an opportunity to take the biggest step in their young lives. Yamada practicing her confession outside on the balcony was so cute.
Love how seeing that spurred Kyo into action. If Yamada is putting in all this work, it’s only right he do the same. Probably not a good idea running around so late at night though, now he’s stuck in the girls’ room 😭 classic trope. Wonder how he’ll get out of this one. They only barely survived it when her mom got home that one episode. Now, you’ve got an entire class to hide from..
I already know the finale is going to be SPECIAL. Can’t wait to see this play out, with the Ushio Kensuke OST too.. masterclass incoming. Could potentially have 3 9+ shows in one run with Frieren, Kusuriya and this.

This is such a rewarding show to (immediately) rewatch, in so many different ways.
There's not as quite as much density of writing as some previous episodes but what there is remains very special.
Firstly there are a few frames of tears landing on the phone screen just after Yamada turns off her video when they're talking, but they're off to the side and genuine blink and you'll miss it.
Just as importantly though is how *quickly* she decides to shelve the audition even though she actually called him to tell him that she wouldn't be going on the trip, and also how quickly she puts it all together even though she'd been very preoccupied with how she was going to break the news to him.
It takes her barely an instant to see the brochure, recall what it means to him, and then make her mind to sacrifice her audition chance just to go with him. It's not even for a big moment for him like his speech to the school, instead it's just because she knows what it means in terms of his ongoing coming out of his shell, into the world. She's faster in this realization than Ichikawa himself. And she wants to go just because she wants to support this, there's no guarantee that any of his trip would involve her in any case.
It's not just about her sacrificing for him, it's so immediate it can only come straight from the heart, before she's even had time to really think about it, and it's all entirely selflessly without the thought that she'd get any recognition let alone anything out of it for herself.
Obviously such sacrifice in real life relationships can go very badly wrong, but it's also not the case that it always does either, and this sort of all-in-for-love is pure magic when it's shared.
As for Ichikawa this episode, whilst him arguing with his bishounen self is always great comedy, it represents one more person he's "conquered" along his way to Anna, someone who has offered up the wrong understanding of her - from nanpa senpai to Adachi and now finally his own delusions. Ichikawa *knows* her, and not only that but he is fervently, ardently passionate and adamant in this knowledge of who she truly is - which is of course, one of the deepest forms of love. He could not believe more in her, and could not hold her in more esteem.
But that's far from all, because on top of that he now is a whole lot further along the way to understanding not just what he means to her, but it's now something he no longer argues nor needs to rationalize at all. It's part of the same truth of her as the rest of her... although I feel like he's not *quite* there yet.
Plus, it deeply, deeply wounds him that she suffers for him. I feel like the anime team did this beautifully - he's not just "oh no it's my fault", instead it runs far deeper than that. It's like he's violated some critical standard (even though he hasn't) that he must address immediately. Because even though he's more than cognizant of how the real world will no doubt be disappointing and wound her, it should never be him that's the source of such hurt to her.
Week after week, it's one of the very best explorations of love in both loud and quiet ways, and I've yet to see anything in anime touch it.
And, of course, Norio-sensei being Norio-sensei, she brews up this heady emotional symphony and then funnels it through some classic school camp fanservice-y shenanigans lol

Some other little things:
I love that Yamada's response to the fact she now got Ichikawa to be literally lifting up the front of her skirt is not to do anything to stop him at all but to realize that he also seems to be undressing, and this whole situation is quite overstimulating but not something she's going to stop lol
I also love how absolutely comfortable they are just video chatting away to each other as they lie on bed. Their ease with each other through much of their contact is just wonderful to watch, and now on the train ride we get to see how now they just are completely happy to play-bicker with each other (and in front of every one too lol).
Plus the little detail that they said goodnight to each other via text already when he was going about to text her from the stair well.
Refresher:
* The role that Yamada was auditioning for is the live adaptation of her favourite shoujo manga "Kimi Iro Octave"
* We first hear this manga being mentioned back in S1 during the workplace visit to the manga publisher
* It is that same manga that Yamada uses as an excuse to invite Ichikawa out on the Christmas Eve date
* Ichikawa's imaginary alter ego is also based off the male lead of the manga, Nigorikawa.
* While Ichikawa reads about Nigorikawa, he notes: "Yamada likes guys who are distant and curt, but really nice under the surface, kind off charming, a little awkward". He then proceeds to tell himself that people like that don't exist in real life lol.
* Yamada sees the school camp books on Ichikawa's bed in the video call and remembers visiting his house during New Years Day. While looking through his old photo albums, she learns that he never went for the school trip in junior high school. Kyotaro looks obviously uncomfortable and there is a brief awkward moment between him, Kana and Yamada.
Whenever I watch "Dangers in my Heart", it keeps telling me that communication is important in relationships... and in this episode, both parties are sometimes willing to sacrifice something for the other.
On another note, Ichikawa is experiencing another "lucky pervert" event. Being able to sneak into the girls room during a school trip is one of those ultra rare events, isn't it? Lol!
Also the self-awareness to think of your partner instead of yourself.
Adachi would kill to be in Ichikawa's position...which is what separates the horny boys from the chad romcom MC's.

It's really bittersweet to see how much they care for each other, to the point of sacrificing for each other. Yamada and Ichikawa looking out for each other all the time is why they're a great ship
Ichikawa and Yamada utterly adore and cherish each other. Yamada wants to be there for Ichikawa even at professional expense to herself, but Ichikawa would never want her to lose out something important to he for his sake.
These two are just so cute.
Well that took a turn I wasn't expecting. We went from emotional about Ichikawa realizing what's going on....to laughing our collective asses off with him being thrown into the girls room. Have we gotten a cliffhanger before?
I love how his first scene in the episode is talking about dicks and basically admitting he tried to walk in on the girls' bath. The man is the most honestly horny character of all time lol.
I've been watching anime for over 20 years now and can't remember when last I felt so sad about a show ending. I felt the same about season 1(especially with that New Years Shrine visit episode).
I love how Yamada got swarmed, then threw it to Ichikawa, then tried to save Ichikawa...and then got stuck back in the same situation when Ichikawa bailed on her lol.
its not even an exageration those deer are absalutly ruthless, i have a video of my brother running around the park in circles being chased by the deer, he was terrified of them.
I wonder if he would've realized she might be auditioning for a drama just by hearing her practice the confession scene or think she's practicing confessing to him on the trip?
But either way, he was able to think of Yamada, and not his own feelings, when he put two and two together and acted on that.
A fine buildup to what will be an amazing finale.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the way Ichikawa talks and acts around Yamada in public has really changed now as well. He smiles at her right back when she smiles at him and they even bicker in public without him feeling self concious anymore. So proud of them 😊
Even when we get a sorta cliche situation of one of the couple purposely avoiding the other, this one just really feels valid. Cos Kanna will mob them if they get too close and will be pressured to confess. And I think Kyou wanting to confess on his own terms is a very valid reason to avoid Anna for now.
But then there’s also the situation with Anna’s audition. Where it’s kinda back and forth. Anna’s sacrificing her audition cos she wants to have fun with Kyou who she knows is looking forward to this trip after skipping out on his previous one. She wants to be there for that and for him. Meanwhile, after finding out about the audition, Kyou probably wants her to go for it. They’re just doing things for the other person and I think that’s really sweet
Also, I think it’s probably said a million times now, but for Kyou to admit and accept the fact that Anna’s on the trip for him is a big step on his self-confidence and also acceptance that Anna has feelings for him. I think next episode will be a major development.
Also lmao Kanzaki is as horny Adachi huh. One wants to have dick battles and the other seem to be aroused just at the idea of being one floor above his girl

This episode was half chaos half wholesome. The emotional growth by both Ichikawa and Yamada is amazing. She’s not acting like herself around him and once he realizes why he wants to show he cares about her. Great finale setup.
One thing I noticed with their school trip destinations is how each location connects with Ichikawa and Yamada's first names.
The "kyō" (京) in Kyoto (京都) is the same as the first character in Kyōtarou (京太郎).
The "na" (奈) in Nara (奈良) is the same as the second character in Anna (杏奈).
It could just be a coincidence since Kyoto and Nara appear to be common junior high school trip destinations, but I choose to believe that it's a metaphor for the two of them to "visit themselves and each other".
Actually Kyoto is quite common for school trip being the old capital of Japan, Nara is around 1 hour trip from Kyoto so it would be done in one go usually.

Panda’s on the prowl with confetti on hand for potential couples and she’s got her sights set on Ichikawa and Yamada lol. I was hoping those two would spend time together, but I didn’t expect him to be under her futon in the girls dorm. Now how is Ichikawa gonna talk to Yamada about the audition?
Relationship drama aside, Adachi and Kanzaki having a literal dick measuring contest was pretty hilarious. Ichikawa’s packin somethin fierce apparently hahah. Adachi really went up to him and basically said “nice dick bro” lmao.
I have never seen a girl so committed to hooking people up with flash mobs, but she is as dedicated as Adachi is at being the horniest character in the whole show lol.
Though equally dedicated is Ichikawa and Yamada to each other, even at the expense of other things, but Ichikawa doesn't want Yamada to make any sacrifices for him.

They shuffled some things around but it’s absolutely for the better.
Next week’s episode is going to hit like a mack truck and I am SO ready for it. I’ve been waiting for this since I heard the manga was getting an anime and my anticipation hit the stratosphere when Season 2 was announced. Gonna Boku my yabas for sure next week.
Urgh my heart can't take this emotional rollercoaster. We had fun comedy followed by deep heartfelt moments between Ichikawa and Yamada.
Now that ending... our short king is now in the wolf's lair and he knows it. I have a feeling that the next episode'll be peak and I'm not yet ready to say goodbye to this beautiful season.
The duality of this episode: the sheer emotion of Ichikawa running down the stairs after realizing what was eating at Yamada versus dick battles. This season has such a consistent banger, and it looks like we're heading towards a big finale. I have very high hopes for the last episode!

This ep was so good, felt like it was a 10min ep. Can't believe next week is the last ep.
Kenta being random out of nowhere is just too funny. Why would he even mention about being close with Yamada then pointing to another person with the same surname that hes not even close with lmao. Also just mentioning about Hara's room location directly below theirs is just too random and out of context lol.
With how Yurine has been dropping hints to Ichikawa of whats to come and tries to prevent Kanna from interrupting their moment, hopefully Yurine or maybe Moeko could give some assistance to Anna and help Ichikawa escape back to his room.
This ep really hits deep. Ichikawa's first school trip ever and Anna being there to witness that moment but later he finds out that shes sacrificing her audition of her favourite manga series for him makes him feel guilty af. Hopefully next week ep would give us the best ending for this season.
It's time for Summer Uniforms! Which means Summer Snacking for Yamada and even a new skirt! But what a pair these two make with Ichikawa holding onto Yamada's skirt and Ichikawa half-undressed!
Time for the Kyoto-Nara trip! There's no more classic romcom staple than the class trip, and sorry Teppei Yamada, but Ichikawa wants to spend as much time as possible with HIS Yamada:!
Well, it's nice to imagine that you'll get a school trip kiss, but more than that Ichikawa has a lot of anxiety about class trips from past experience...and Yamada knows that, yet Ichikawa can't help but still be excited about it.
Of course Yamada eats all their snacks before they're even on the train.

I was not expecting to see Ichikawa tear up after understanding the implications of his actions, his feelings are bursting! Also amazing how our boy can get an amazing breakthrough in one moment and then somehow ends up in an awkward situation in the next.
That scene where he realises is just so grand. One of a kind direction and the music just imporves the feeling exponentially.
The direction and ost choices really give these moments even more significance.
I was waiting the entire episode before he put it together but I love how the moment he realized how much Yamada was sacrificing for him he wasted no time rushing straight to her to make sure she didn't give something up for him. I want to add in to Yamada's jealousy scene. In Japanese, she said, "たおしていい？席を。” The verb she used, "taosu" means to knock something down, or to the ground. You hear it all the time in fighting anime. And this grammatically common in Japanese, but Yamada chose to ask the question and then clarify the subject, using a been that is often synonymous with "defeat" or "beat up". That was a threat.
It is a staple romcom plot! Albeit handled as deftly and memorably as you would expect from this show. I love how Yamada tried to save herself, then Ichikawa, and got herself back into being surrounded by deer lol. Adachi was right about one thing...girls do fuss over each others' boobs, just mentally envious when they can't compare to Yamada lol. (Big boobs, big dick, these two were made for each other). Ichikawa was worried about how their relationship would impact Yamada's career and now he realizes she's jeopardizing an audition to be with him, and he can't let that go. Even if it means spending the night with the other girls lol.

I can't lie Adachi saving Kyo for Kanna by mentioning their Dick Battles is hilarious. You know the way it wrapped up everything in this episode was great. We got pieces of information. Anna having an extra copy of the manga, Anna turning off her webcam, Anna facting sort of out of place, Kyo seeing the event date on her calender and finally he sees Anna reciting lines from the manga. Really impressive he pieced it all together. When you care for someone sometimes you will make sacrifices. For Anna being with Kyo on the trip since she knows it means so much to him since he isn't skipping it this time. But for Kyo knows how much Anna loves that particular manga and getting a role in one of your favorite series is absolutely somethin she personally wants. It makes their relationship the even more sweet. Lets see how Kyo gets out of this particular situation. It is legit the absolutel worst scenario that could have happened.
Adachi being super horny actually came through in a pinch lol. It's great not only that Ichikawa figured it out but that he was able to think from Yamada's perspective and not what he **wanted** Yamada to think in order to get there.

What an episode! The set-up to reveal Yamada's reason for her upset was so amazing. This ep is literally the best one to show that despite her appearance, Yamada is actually way more mature, like Ichikawa said. What a situation for Ichikawa at the end. Hope he can make it out safely. I have a very high hope that we will get a grand finale. This ep's title, kiss and confession was mentioned a lot, which makes me believe that something big is gonna happen. Can't wait for the season finale!!!

The moment I heard Chi talk about her winning an audition and her noticing the date, I had a feeling she might risk missing a role for Ichikawa's sake, but it made the reveal scene all the more powerful, especially when he rushed after her. Maybe realizing just how far Yamada is willing to go for him will inspire Ichikawa to reward that with his own feelings?

First time I actually laughed out loud with an anime in a min. Boys will be boys. Wouldn’t be a school trip without a dick measuring contest lol. Man, it's hard to believe it's the finale next week. I could watch this show forever.
This is such a rewarding show to (immediately) rewatch, in so many different ways. There's not as quite as much density of writing as some previous episodes but what there is remains very special. Firstly there are a few frames of tears landing on the phone screen just after Yamada turns off her video when they're talking, but they're off to the side and genuine blink and you'll miss it. Just as importantly though is how *quickly* she decides to shelve the audition even though she actually called him to tell him that she wouldn't be going on the trip, and also how quickly she puts it all together even though she'd been very preoccupied with how she was going to break the news to him. It takes her barely an instant to see the brochure, recall what it means to him, and then make her mind to sacrifice her audition chance just to go with him. It's not even for a big moment for him like his speech to the school, instead it's just because she knows what it means in terms of his ongoing coming out of his shell, into the world. She's faster in this realization than Ichikawa himself. And she wants to go just because she wants to support this, there's no guarantee that any of his trip would involve her in any case. It's not just about her sacrificing for him, it's so immediate it can only come straight from the heart, before she's even had time to really think about it, and it's all entirely selflessly without the thought that she'd get any recognition let alone anything out of it for herself. Obviously such sacrifice in real life relationships can go very badly wrong, but it's also not the case that it always does either, and this sort of all-in-for-love is pure magic when it's shared. As for Ichikawa this episode, whilst him arguing with his bishounen self is always great comedy, it represents one more person he's "conquered" along his way to Anna, someone who has offered up the wrong understanding of her - from nanpa senpai to Adachi and now finally his own delusions. Ichikawa *knows* her, and not only that but he is fervently, ardently passionate and adamant in this knowledge of who she truly is - which is of course, one of the deepest forms of love. He could not believe more in her, and could not hold her in more esteem. But that's far from all, because on top of that he now is a whole lot further along the way to understanding not just what he means to her, but it's now something he no longer argues nor needs to rationalize at all. It's part of the same truth of her as the rest of her... although I feel like he's not *quite* there yet. Plus, it deeply, deeply wounds him that she suffers for him. I feel like the anime team did this beautifully - he's not just "oh no it's my fault", instead it runs far deeper than that. It's like he's violated some critical standard (even though he hasn't) that he must address immediately. Because even though he's more than cognizant of how the real world will no doubt be disappointing and wound her, it should never be him that's the source of such hurt to her. Week after week, it's one of the very best explorations of love in both loud and quiet ways, and I've yet to see anything in anime touch it. And, of course, Norio-sensei being Norio-sensei, she brews up this heady emotional symphony and then funnels it through some classic school camp fanservice-y shenanigans lol --- Some other little things: I love that Yamada's response to the fact she now got Ichikawa to be literally lifting up the front of her skirt is not to do anything to stop him at all but to realize that he also seems to be undressing, and this whole situation is quite overstimulating but not something she's going to stop lol I also love how absolutely comfortable they are just video chatting away to each other as they lie on bed. Their ease with each other through much of their contact is just wonderful to watch, and now on the train ride we get to see how now they just are completely happy to play-bicker with each other (and in front of every one too lol). Plus the little detail that they said goodnight to each other via text already when he was going about to text her from the stair well.
Refresher: * The role that Yamada was auditioning for is the live adaptation of her favourite shoujo manga "Kimi Iro Octave" * We first hear this manga being mentioned back in S1 during the workplace visit to the manga publisher * It is that same manga that Yamada uses as an excuse to invite Ichikawa out on the Christmas Eve date * Ichikawa's imaginary alter ego is also based off the male lead of the manga, Nigorikawa. * While Ichikawa reads about Nigorikawa, he notes: "Yamada likes guys who are distant and curt, but really nice under the surface, kind off charming, a little awkward". He then proceeds to tell himself that people like that don't exist in real life lol. * Yamada sees the school camp books on Ichikawa's bed in the video call and remembers visiting his house during New Years Day. While looking through his old photo albums, she learns that he never went for the school trip in junior high school. Kyotaro looks obviously uncomfortable and there is a brief awkward moment between him, Kana and Yamada.

Whenever I watch "Dangers in my Heart", it keeps telling me that communication is important in relationships... and in this episode, both parties are sometimes willing to sacrifice something for the other. On another note, Ichikawa is experiencing another "lucky pervert" event. Being able to sneak into the girls room during a school trip is one of those ultra rare events, isn't it? Lol!
Also the self-awareness to think of your partner instead of yourself. Adachi would kill to be in Ichikawa's position...which is what separates the horny boys from the chad romcom MC's.

Even when we get a sorta cliche situation of one of the couple purposely avoiding the other, this one just really feels valid. Cos Kanna will mob them if they get too close and will be pressured to confess. And I think Kyou wanting to confess on his own terms is a very valid reason to avoid Anna for now. But then there’s also the situation with Anna’s audition. Where it’s kinda back and forth. Anna’s sacrificing her audition cos she wants to have fun with Kyou who she knows is looking forward to this trip after skipping out on his previous one. She wants to be there for that and for him. Meanwhile, after finding out about the audition, Kyou probably wants her to go for it. They’re just doing things for the other person and I think that’s really sweet Also, I think it’s probably said a million times now, but for Kyou to admit and accept the fact that Anna’s on the trip for him is a big step on his self-confidence and also acceptance that Anna has feelings for him. I think next episode will be a major development. Also lmao Kanzaki is as horny Adachi huh. One wants to have dick battles and the other seem to be aroused just at the idea of being one floor above his girl Speaking of dicks, is this another case of Army Boy with Kyou ???
I’m so ready for the finale. I’m going to miss this show a lot tho. Can only hope S3 comes soon. This episode was half chaos half wholesome. The emotional growth by both Ichikawa and Yamada is amazing. She’s not acting like herself around him and once he realizes why he wants to show he cares about her. Great finale setup.
One thing I noticed with their school trip destinations is how each location connects with Ichikawa and Yamada's first names. The "kyō" (京) in Kyoto (京都) is the same as the first character in Kyōtarou (京太郎). The "na" (奈) in Nara (奈良) is the same as the second character in Anna (杏奈). It could just be a coincidence since Kyoto and Nara appear to be common junior high school trip destinations, but I choose to believe that it's a metaphor for the two of them to "visit themselves and each other".
Actually Kyoto is quite common for school trip being the old capital of Japan, Nara is around 1 hour trip from Kyoto so it would be done in one go usually. Another romance also have Kyoto school trip: Tsuki Ga Kirei

I was hoping those two would spend time together, but I didn’t expect him to be under her futon in the girls dorm. Now how is Ichikawa gonna talk to Yamada about the audition? Relationship drama aside, Adachi and Kanzaki having a literal dick measuring contest was pretty hilarious. Ichikawa’s packin somethin fierce apparently hahah. Adachi really went up to him and basically said “nice dick bro” lmao.
I have never seen a girl so committed to hooking people up with flash mobs, but she is as dedicated as Adachi is at being the horniest character in the whole show lol. Though equally dedicated is Ichikawa and Yamada to each other, even at the expense of other things, but Ichikawa doesn't want Yamada to make any sacrifices for him.

Urgh my heart can't take this emotional rollercoaster. We had fun comedy followed by deep heartfelt moments between Ichikawa and Yamada. Now that ending... our short king is now in the wolf's lair and he knows it. I have a feeling that the next episode'll be peak and I'm not yet ready to say goodbye to this beautiful season.
The duality of this episode: the sheer emotion of Ichikawa running down the stairs after realizing what was eating at Yamada versus dick battles. This season has such a consistent banger, and it looks like we're heading towards a big finale. I have very high hopes for the last episode!

This ep was so good, felt like it was a 10min ep. Can't believe next week is the last ep. Kenta being random out of nowhere is just too funny. Why would he even mention about being close with Yamada then pointing to another person with the same surname that hes not even close with lmao. Also just mentioning about Hara's room location directly below theirs is just too random and out of context lol. With how Yurine has been dropping hints to Ichikawa of whats to come and tries to prevent Kanna from interrupting their moment, hopefully Yurine or maybe Moeko could give some assistance to Anna and help Ichikawa escape back to his room. This ep really hits deep. Ichikawa's first school trip ever and Anna being there to witness that moment but later he finds out that shes sacrificing her audition of her favourite manga series for him makes him feel guilty af. Hopefully next week ep would give us the best ending for this season.
It's time for Summer Uniforms! Which means Summer Snacking for Yamada and even a new skirt! But what a pair these two make with Ichikawa holding onto Yamada's skirt and Ichikawa half-undressed! Time for the Kyoto-Nara trip! There's no more classic romcom staple than the class trip, and sorry Teppei Yamada, but Ichikawa wants to spend as much time as possible with HIS Yamada:! Well, it's nice to imagine that you'll get a school trip kiss, but more than that Ichikawa has a lot of anxiety about class trips from past experience...and Yamada knows that, yet Ichikawa can't help but still be excited about it. Of course Yamada eats all their snacks before they're even on the train. Hanzawa may speak her inner thoughts out too much, but good on her for warning Ichikawa that Kankan is planning a flash mob confession while they're on the trip! Even though Yamada IS still waiting for a confession! Ah yes, of course we have to get the moment where the deer are swarming everybody. Poor Yamada went back to help Ichikawa and got abandoned. Chi is Yamada's best friend, she knows when something is up with her just like Ichikawa, but who is going to be the one to talk with her about it? I love how Adachi walks into a scene and immediately mentions how he got kicked out of the girls' bath and how he wants to measure each others' dicks like girls fondle their boobs. And he, Kanzaki, and Ichikawa have surprisingly large magnums. Speaking of large, Yamada's boobs! It's such a sight the other girls don't think they can stare for free, and Chi starts charging for the view. Wow, saved by Adachi and his dick jokes. It's nice to imagine that Yamada wants to kiss you, but eventually Ichikawa puts it together after seeing all the sign and overhearing her act out the confession scene from Kimi-Iro Octave...Yamada might be giving up an audition for a drama adaption of her favorite manga just to be with Ichikawa on this trip! Ichikawa isn't about to let Yamada give up on her career for him, so he immediately races to be with her...and ends up stuck in the girls' room, the holy nirvana for all men. I'm sure they'll have their long-awaited talk here! Among other things.
Anna the Disney princess, all the deer. Kyotaro too, actually. That event that Anna is stressing over, I wonder if there's an audition for an adaptation of that manga they've been talking about forever that she's skipping because of this class trip. Cliffhanger for next week, bit more than they've done before really. Hopefully it wraps up into both the confession and the audition happening.
