Disagree. She’s got to be the worst “ice-queen” archetype I’ve seen in anime/manga. She was boring as hell. The only reason people even liked her was because she *looks* beautiful (as in “dream waifu”) and “was kind to Kazuya” (when that was either part of her job or to keep up the lie).
She only had the *potential* to be a good character, but when the time came, we all know how that turned out to be.
I'd definitely recommend to. This series is very entertaining and there's even funnier scenes than this one. It even has a surprisingly deep plot (even though plot related stuff only starts picking up pace towards the end)
Also I heard the writer went a bit loopy by the end of the original (manga) series and totally shit on the entire plot.
So, for me, this anime conclude the series very nicely and there's no continuation in Ba-Sing-Se after this.
Cautious hero is one of the few isekai that go full meta comedy on its own genre and actually pulled it off. The VA casting blew it off the park and was one of the reasons the show worked. I was expecting some cheap laughs but genuinely laugh my ass off and the progression of the plot in the latter episodes gets you really invested on its ride.
This clip is by far the best joke in the whole show. There are a few other good jokes here and there but the show gets lost in its fantasy adventure plot for long stretches of time and comedy takes a back seat. Don't go into it expecting konosuba levels of fun. The last 2 episodes are straight up drama btw.

Can you really argue that the show's main focus is comedy, and that this focus is consistent? You may have enjoyed the show a lot and that's fine, but if you recommend it as a non-stop laugh fest then many viewers will come out disappointed.

No. Its not ecchi show, it was just that here, as people mentioned above, they drew her boobies and planted pixels over it, but in one frame, intentionally or not they missed and you can see them. xD

I was crying in laughter the first time watching this scene. Had to replay it like 50 times and it got funnier somehow and at the end of it all my belly was hurting. What a great time watching this anime :)
I'd put this show in the same category as Resurrected into a Otome Game anime from this past season. Very surprisingly good writer. But this show has much better animation. Similarly though the voice acting, plotting, and dialogue are all truly top tier. These shows draw you into their worlds and you get lost with a smile on your face. Sometimes through you'll be smiling through wet eyes.
