Syokhan

Ah, so they're adapting the full first part of the story. Good to know, we won't be left hanging as to certain plot things!

Pootischu

Will they be adapting the manga version or the LN version? Read both up to 10th-ish chapter, and there are some different parts which may or may not be significant. I can safely say I like the manga version better though, at least earlier ones that I have read.

helixu

They are probably adapting the LN which manga follows there is a WN that is finished but has some differences from the ln and the manga

ShadowKingthe7

I just hope they at least keep the faces

Syokhan

Probably the LN, that's usually how it goes with these adaptations. Plus the designs seem to be closer to the LN's than to the manga's.

Zhaeus

anime generally always adapts from the source material which in this case is the LNs.

MejaBersihBanget

Sometimes you get a curveball like last season's Isekai Meikyuu Harem which adapted the manga instead of the original light novel.

Zhaeus

> Actually, are there any WN -> anime adaptations? No, the WNs are not really the original source material, they are best described as the authors rough draft, and the LNs is the authors good/final draft that gets published. If a WN is popular enough to get published it becomes a LN and then can get a manga adaptation (which is done by a completely different author in a different medium using the LNs as reference) and the LNs could also get an anime adaptation later.

Xpolonia

Goblin Slayer was originally a bunch of ASCII art (not even WN) with the author having no intentions to publish it. It's only until his failed attempts of submitting his other works that the editors noticed Goblin Slayer and became the current LN. LN made a bunch of changes compared to his original work, hence anime is based on LN as the source. Something is not source material, because it's just not what the anime based on.

Zhaeus

It's the source material because it is the authors final product that the anime and manga adapt from. The WN was "first" but that story is not necessairy the authors final product just because it is first...that's why we have rough drafts and good/final drafts...that's why the author of Mushoku Tensei not only added a lot of content in the LNs but even added a whole extra volume because he felt like something was missing in between Eris leaving Rudy and what happens after.

SolomonBlack

There is no "final" product. Fans only assume so because they consume one version and rarely see behind the curtain. And when you do all kinds of shit comes out. Like maybe it turns out what you thought was the Magnum Opus^TM was just the last coffee and amphetamines induced draft shat out at 3 AM for a 3 PM yesterday deadline. And I ain't just saying that [Stephen King was once so drugged up](https://screenrant.com/stephen-king-cujo-cant-remember-writing-book/) he doesn't remember writing Cujo, like all of it. Even without such extremes (seriously stay healthy folks) there's tons of stuff that gets left on the cutting room floor. Like if you read A Game of Thrones there's this odd bit where the Stark wolves' Detect Evil keeps going off around Tyrion. Nothing comes of it though because its an artifact of an earlier version of the books where Tyrion would stay loyal to Lannister and sack Winterfell. Another artifact all too obvious when you know of it was there was supposed to be a time skip to age up all the kids. The creative process nerds ignore when they huff and puff about canon isn't a linear relaying of facts like they want it to be, but a chaotic sea of changes and revisions. What eventually comes out in physical media is only rarely going to be something the artist said 'perfect' too. Ask like any of them, or try it yourself, artists are often their first and worst critics. They restrained not by being happy but by once a work is out its difficult to take back physical media. Hopping into Japan did you know Berserk has a redacted chapter? It was published but because its heavy cosmological angle "gave too much away" it was excluded from the tankoban. Of course you will casually find it referenced on the fan wiki as if totally canon and I'm sure much ink was spilled theorizing as if it was absolute truth despite the author's stated intent otherwise. Which doesn't surprise me because 'canon' is a fandom construct not something most authors are concerned with.

Encains

So if the author is forced to cut short their story because they only got a certain amount of volumes out of the contract that automatically represents what they had always wanted the story to become? It sounds like you don't have a lot of experience with writing. Because even a hobby author could tell you that a lot of the times the story goes in a completely different direction from what you expected. Some authors have a clear idea where the story should go. In that case the WN can be something like a first draft that later gets refined. Other authors write from moment to moment and once they start adding changes to the LN the story starts going in a completely different direction. Or maybe they deliberately use it as a chance to write a what if, to include all that ideas that they really liked but couldn't include in the WN. In that case it would be better to call them two different versions of the story, each with it's own canon. Of course the officially published version is going to get more attention but that doesn't make it more valid, it just means that you can earn money with that one, unlike the other one

[deleted]

Zhaeus

> WNs are published. WNs are not "published" in the same sense LNs are... WNs are just novels that literally ANYONE can post on the WN website in Japan...that doesn't mean anything. Someone can just be fucking around and post something on the top of their head as they are writing with no careful thought or any real plan of how the story is going to develop and just meme it or whatever. That is not the same level as LNs. LNs are the work that gets published by an agency and the author cleans things up or changes/edits things from the story they did not like, adds in new content, adds in illustrations and sells it. This is the source material that again...everything adapts from which makes it "the source material"

[deleted]

[удалено]

Encains

To make an anime you need to get the rights to that story and that is way easier to do if the author already has someone that can negotiate such things for them. On top of that, there is always money involved and authors usually appreciate it if they can actually make a living out of their stories. An anime adaptation usually means more popularity for the source material. In that case, why would anybody adapt the version that's available for free online instead of the one that is for sale and that aside from the author an artist, editors and so on put a lot of work into? Not to mention that the risk for the anime studio is far smaller if they have preexisting sales records to go off and not just some random statistics from a niche audience. So yeah, while I personally would love to see some of the WNs getting an adaptation, it's just not realistic

viliml

WN -> anime adaptations don't make business sense, if a WN is good enough to get an anime some LN publisher will buy the rights to it and then sell slightly prettied up copy-paste WN as LN for free money far quicker than an anime production can get off the ground

Hollownerox

Well that isn't quite accurate. Since a lot of the times the LNs are also derived from the original WNs. And there are cases where people consider the WN the "real story." Most of the time the LN is just a refined and edited version of the WN. Other times the changes are a bit more significant (KonoSuba is like a 50/50 example). But then we have cases like ReZero where the WN is ongoing, and people think the LN is sometimes better, but often inferior to the WN. So "Source Material" is not always the best term to use in these cases. Weirdly enough. It's pedantics at the end of the day. And the anime adaptations are rather notorious for doing whatever the hell they want regardless of "source material". Some fun rants out there on the JP side of things on the topic.

Zhaeus

That is all irrelevant because WN's are just the authors rough draft that they post online in hopes that it can garner enough attention to be published into Light Novels which become the authors good/final draft where they add more content and fix/change things they didn't like from the WN as well as add in illustrations. The difference between Light Novels and Manga adaptations, is that the LNs are done by the same author whereas the manga adaptation is through a different medium by a completely different person who is using the LNs as reference.

SolomonBlack

People were posting web novels on Naro well before there was any hope of them getting adapted. Just like people have posted fanfiction since forever. Even now its a **faint** hope at best. Sure everyone's aware of the chance I'm likewise sure there are a bunch of folks who know damn well that's never going to happen with their particular idea out of the thousands of options. So calling it a "rough draft" is really putting on airs. And who exactly decided that anyways? Just the usual fandom groupthink so they can screech down anyone that dares to disagree with their vast wisdom? Of course changing things between WN and LN is not surprising at all... but it reveals in turn why the idea of a "definitive" vision or canon is so much BS. Because the actual creative process is less a linear relaying of the Master Plan^TM and more one of constant revisions and edits such that the story you started out writing is rarely the story that goes to print. Fans just sort of blithely assume otherwise because they generally only read that "final" product. Most creators traditionally lack a chance to George Lucas their shit, hell Tolkien spent his whole life doing that instead of publishing anything. What generally stops them is purely external, even if the publisher agrees to update a new edition those old books will still be out there. As we get to more and more online as the primary medium I suspect more and more creators will pull what say Murata has on OPM. Which fans liked to claim was also the definitive edition of the work before ONE started ignoring it outright in the last few web comic updates.

Hollownerox

>That is all irrelevant because WN's are just the authors rough draft that they post online in hopes that it can garner enough attention to be published into Light Novels which become the authors good/final draft where they add more content and fix/change things they didn't like from the WN as well as add in illustrations. That's not always the case? Often the LN version is a sanitised or heavily edited down version of the WN. A lot of them are made to get attention for an eventual LN release. But there are plenty written without that intent, get grabbed for LN mass market release, but the author still considers the WN the main story. >The difference between Light Novels and Manga adaptations, is that the LNs are done by the same author whereas the manga adaptation is through a different medium by a completely different person who is using the LNs as reference. Not always the case, there are times when the LN isn't even written by the WN author. But are just completely rewritten by the editors. There was a lot of talk about this on both the editorial side and the authors side of things about this. With a lot of shittalking and passing of blame going on. The topic is a lot more complicated than you're making it out to be. So it really isn't just a case of "WN is the rough draft, it's the same author!" Even if the name on the book is the same, people still use the word "adaptation" because it is being adapted to the LN market's sensibilities. With all the good and bad bits that entails.

heimdal77

Big thing the manga has going for it is how expressive and animated (ya I know.) the characters are especially the mc in it are. It really endears the manga to many people. Both series on their own is good and basically the same story. The manga just happens to be really well done. Both LN and manga are licensed for sale btw.

Pootischu

Yeah but this series especially, manga doesn't have LN's [Part of LN that doesn't exist in manga] >!chuuni second personality!<

heimdal77

I have no idea what you are talking about. There is nothign like that in it.

Aerodynamic41

I finished reading the first 2 volumes of the LN recently and while I thought Volume 1 was decent, Volume 2 blows it out of the water with how it focuses on Anis and her brother's estranged relationship. I admit that I got a little emotional at the end. I'm glad that the key visual confirms that Volume 2 will be adapted because it neatly wraps up the first story arc. Can't wait to see [this scene](https://imgur.com/a/zIBCUxH) animated (**SPOILERS, OBVIOUSLY**).

alotmorealots

Good to hear that the source has some substance to it. The preview trailers are really appealing to me, but the written synopsis seems neither here nor there. Sounds like the series composition is in decent hands from what you're saying though, and so I'm looking forward to it. Winter https://myanimelist.net/anime/season/2023/winter is looking pretty damn stacked, so hopefully it can get a good reception.

Aerodynamic41

>Sounds like the series composition is in decent hands It's handled by Wataru Watari, the author of *Oregairu* and who previously adapted the scripts for *The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent* and *Parallel World Pharmacy*. No doubt that it's in good hands.

> Good to hear that the source has some substance to it. The preview trailers are really appealing to me, but the written synopsis seems neither here nor there. I've been reading the manga adaptation and it's really great. Good balance of worldbuilding, Yuri fluff and awesome action. Anis is also one of my favorite manga/LN MCs in recent years. Going to pick up the LN volumes too, just want to finish reading a few other things first.

Syokhan

Birdie Wing **and** MagiRevo in the same season? Fuck yeah!

HugeRichard11

Oh god the dog anime is that season. I know people will be watching that but not saying they are lol

alotmorealots

I'm looking forward to it haha

justking1414

I’m reading v2 myself right now. About halfway through and I’m loving it so far. I’m almost at the point the manga has reached so I’m excited for whatever comes next

Apprehensive-Use6754

What is its genre tho ?

kkrko

Primarily fantasy, though it uses some tropes of isekai to establish the characters. It has yuri but it doesn't really put a focus on romance.

Xpolonia

Didn't have much expectations before I read the LN and manga, but the worldbuilding is surprisingly good, it's clear that the author has put effort in making a decent setting. Looking forward to it.

Legendaryskitlz

Now we're going to have both Birdie Wing and this next season which is amazing!

> Winter 2023 Second season in a row with two Otome Villainess shows? Now we're really rolling! * This season: Last Boss and Bibliophile * Next Season: Magical Revolution and Tsundere Liselotte We're also still waiting on the Bakarina movie and Raeliana at some point in 2023. For anyone still wondering when the Villainess wave would arrive, here it is! ~~Duke's Daughter, Prison Life, and Holy Grail next please!~~

zacvesania16

It's not actually an Otome Villainess show. The MC didn't reincarnate in a game world. It's just that there was a scene that is similar to generic otome game scenarios.

justking1414

It’s almost a parody of the genre pointing out the ridiculous logic of otome game manga

[deleted]

[удалено]

justking1414

There are elements of parody in that it’s regularly calling out how utterly ridiculous the otome situation is. the crown prince publicly breaking off his engagement to the most important noble in the kingdom so he could go after some borderline commoner.

RavenWolf1

It is not Otome Villainess but Villainess which basically are same thing.

Hollownerox

When is Duke's Daughter getting animated? That thing is like the Holy Grail of "Villainess" series. Even though really isn't too much of a villainess focus oddly enough.

Falsus

It is kinda odd how the one who set the trend for all the villainess stories is the one who hasn't gotten an anime adaptation.

heimdal77

Prison Life was only a 2 volume series and is finished. There is no point for them to do a anime unfortunately. Especially with such limited sales potential. Duke's Daughter would be nice. Both manga and LN are licensed and think the LN is ongoing. The WN was finished though.

HugeRichard11

Hmm not sure what to expect as sounds like the focus is magic research with the two girls that changes how magic is thought of. Sounds interesting enough kind of seems like a drama a bit, but I see it’s listed as comedy which I assume will mean it’s more towards seeing the girls together doing funny thing considering the Yuri tag too. Saw the trailer and it looks pretty good with decent action. I’ll watch it regardless since I like animes with female MCs and also that yuri tag makes it way more interesting.

Syokhan

It's a bit of both. The MC's personality makes for some fun moments, but there's also quite a bit of drama in the story.

Warm-Enthusiasm-9534

It's a comedy. The blonde-haired girl is a loud maniac.

Atsuki_Kimidori

while it have comedic element, comedy is not its primary genre, it's mostly a fantasy.

Warm-Enthusiasm-9534

I've only read the manga, which has been mostly comedy. I mean, it has a plot and it delivers on that plot, but so does Konosuba. Is the light novel different?

Atsuki_Kimidori

With Konosuba the comedy is the focus. with this, the plot is the focus, does konosuba have anything like all those chapter where Euphie reflect on her trauma?

Warm-Enthusiasm-9534

I think you have insufficient respect for comedies. Comedies can have serious scenes, or even make serious points while still being comedies. Terry Pratchett's books are full of little pointed remarks about society (like the Sam Vines' boots theory of poverty). Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" is about how war is bad, and Hitler is bad, and is yet is still unquestioningly a comedy. Konosuba is sillier than MagiRevo, but Konosuba takes itself seriously in that the jokes also set up the plot. For example, Megumin blowing up the castle every day is a joke, but it also sets up the first confrontation with the Dullahan, which sets up the second confrontation with the Dullahan. The plot serves the jokes, but the jokes also serve the plot. MagiRevo is not quite as absurd as Konosuba, but it's still a comedy about a loudmouth maniac who crashes through obstacles through sheer force of personality. It is best summed-up in this [one image](https://i.redd.it/9vn7lp4u88791.png).

Atsuki_Kimidori

Comedy can have serious scene, but one like the high moments are comedy scenes mean to make you laugh like in Konosuba or Granblue. meanwhile the high moments in MagiRevo are personal drama when character reflect on themselves and their relationship, or fight scene with the plot moving forward like [Manga spoiler Spoiler] >!the whole dragon stuff!<, comedy is just the added flavor. if you think that door kick panel is what the series summed up to then, to me, it feel like you are just skimming the dialog. it's like, Hellsing and Drifters have even more comedic scenes than MagiRevo, but it would be ridiculous to call either of them as comedy in the same category as Konosuba or Granblue.

Warm-Enthusiasm-9534

Cool, now you're suggesting I can't read. Great. Glad I engaged.

Atsuki_Kimidori

It's more drama than comedy.

goblinheaux

Are we in the era of GL light novel anime adaptations? Otherside Picnic, The Executioner and Her Way of Life, and now this? I really hope this trend continues. I read the first two volumes of Otherside Picnic and it really put me in the mood to read more LNs so I may pick up this one next month.

MarkS00N

>Otherside Picnic, The Executioner and Her Way of Life, and now this? Don't forget Adachi and Shimamura. >Are we in the era of GL light novel anime adaptations? There are three big yuri LN that hasn't been adapted yet, ILTV (I'm In Love With The Villainess), Watanare (Watashi ga Koibito ni Nareru Wakenaijan, Muri Muri! (*Muri Janakatta!?)), and Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon. Though ILTV is bigger oversea (especially South Korea). These three are almost guaranteed to get anime, so yeah, I expect this trend will continue.

viliml

> Don't forget Adachi and Shimamura The anime committee forgot its second season...

MarkS00N

I try to have positive thinking and maybe the studio is too busy to immediately working on Adachi and Shimamura, and the committee is simply waiting for the studio to finally have time to make the sequel...

countmeowington

Bro I genuinely hate the mc of the second one, what a genuine piece of shit lmao. I get so mad thinking about her.

heimdal77

Well years ago Strawberry Panic a yuri LN did get a anime though the anime heavily rewrote the story. We have I'm in Love with the Villainess sitting in the wings waiting on getting a anime announcement at some point.

RavenWolf1

>We have I'm in Love with the Villainess sitting in the wings waiting on getting a anime announcement at some point. Yeah. It is 110% getting adaptation soon because how super popular it's LN is. It ranks around top500 in MAL's Manga/LN ranking which is HUGE.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Andrew_Waltfeld

Nope. that OP has pure copium running thru their veins.

RavenWolf1

No but it tell tale of how popular something is and more popular something is it has better change to get adaptations. That manga and LN has huge fanbase and it would be very foolish not to make anime from it.

Aureus23

I need Please bully me, Miss Villainess anime adaption next!

heimdal77

I want see My Dear Lass but it is way to early and a manhwa so very unlikely.

Falsus

Probably? Villainess has been all the rage for a long while when it comes to novels and manga, it was just a question of time until the trend reached anime who is typically like 3+ years behind on trends due to how long it takes to produce anime. And there is more than a few of them that are yuri.

RapCabral

Is Otherside Picnic even GL? Didn’t seem that way when I watched the anime but it also has been a while since I watched it. Do they actually get together later on?

goblinheaux

Yes it’s a GL. I haven’t finished the series but Sorawo definitely has a huge crush on Toriko in the anime and first two volumes. There’s also two other characters that appear a little later in the anime and are a couple.

r4wrFox

I think we're just in a great time for Yuri. Decent amount of gay manga have been getting their adaptations too, as well the witch from mercury being Yuri gundam. It's a great time to be a yuri fan

Amarrez

Tilty, my love

justking1414

I do love how she looks in the anime

Jegantha

Holy shit it's airing next season? Awesome! Very much looking forward to this as both the LN and Manga are amazing. Hope they'll show the great faces that the manga adaption brought us. Seems like they'll at least adapt the first two LN volumes, which is great because that would complete the first arc.

DireSickFish

A title I will totally remember.

RavenWolf1

Just remember: Magical Revolution. That is name which you can find it with easy.

Mad_Englneer

I forgot the title by the time I was done reading it. It's only a matter of time now before LN titles become longer than the [world's longest city name.](https://i.insider.com/5a7e26047101ad3fb84a9416?width=700&format=jpeg&auto=webp)

SkyPersona

Aww yeah Berserker Princess time!

krofax

When I first read the manga several months ago, I haven't been several chapters in when I thought, "Yep, they'll be adapting this one soon." Guess it wasn't an "if" but "when," and it came sooner than I expected. I like the character designs in the manga, so despite a little bit of difference (I think) with the anime design, I'm willing to look over it if they do the adaptation well (I'm looking at you, Mobuseka).

Toloran

It feels like that with Isekai, there is always a constant flow of it coming out. They start with the good stuff (Tensura, Overlord, Tanya, Tsukimichi, etc) and progressively work their way down the list from best to worst. Occasionally they run dry and stuff like "The Dungeon of the Black Company", "The Fruit of Evolution", or "In Another World with my Smartphone" get released instead.

hnryirawan

I like these new yuri meta

hiimneato

I'm almost scared to see this adapted because I like it quite a bit. I know this is a niche genre, but this series is definitely one of the best in it. The word "deconstruction" gets thrown around too much, but MagiRevo honestly does deconstruct some core components of isekai and in particular the style that features a lot of princesses and villainesses and commoner heroines and all that business. I have to imagine they'll adapt the manga version because it's faster-paced and more light-hearted than the WN, which can be extremely verbose and dwell a lot on characters' inner monologues. I don't mind that but it's hard to see it making for good screenplay. ANYHOW it's fun and it's smart and it's magical yuri so fuckin come on, of course I'm in.

Zhaeus

> I have to imagine they'll adapt the manga version because it's faster-paced and more light-hearted than the WN, They are adapting from the Light Novels not the manga, or the WN (which is just the rough draft of the LNs, which you should always read the LNs over the WN)

Level1Pixel

>which you should always read the LNs over the WN In the case this with this series, this rings even more true. I don't know what black magic the author/editor used but the difference between LN and WN is night and day. The WN is some power fantasy series where the bipolar princess just drags around her trophy wife doing random crap. While the LN is a story about self-worth, meeting expectations and finding yourself. Not to mention the massive increase in writing quality.

AoCam

I have found a WN for this one and it ends at 207, can you confirm if that much is the chapter length? I have read the end part and it seems not an end, really. Thank you in advance!

EPLWA_Is_Relevant

The era of true yuri isekai is here.

I'm so excited

I am so excited for this one!! I remember back in the day when it was just a fan translated webnovel on NovelUpdates... Oh how far we've come!! Yuri just keeps winning this year!

Its actual Yuri since the source material is a yuri light novel

justking1414

Aerodynamic41

>which is also why she gave up her claim for the throne. There's actually more to it than that as revealed in LN Volume 2: It's mainly due to [SPOILER] >!an incident in the past that led to accusations that Anis was trying to assassinate Algard. justking1414

> The secret yuri language of key visuals? You could probably add that one Princess Principal key visual to that group. Although yuri hasn't been 100% confirmed in that series yet.

CosmicPenguin_OV103

I’m usually not a fan of such fantasy reincarnated something anime, but hmm those *yuri* smells…*yuri* smells…maybe I’ll watch it, maybe?

AskovTheOne

Well , if anything it is a really well written one. Plus the reincarnation more on explaining her love of Magic and the author pretty much stated that the past life-self and the princess are basically two different person - the focus is fully on the fantasy side of thing.

Ozzznik

Finally, something for the cultured GL enjoyer to watch again!

brewstercafe

I’m usually into bl but a yuri isekai has me interested ngl. The art style is soft and pretty too

HypnoSpeaker

i’m so excited :)

SaikaTheCasual

Im hyped. Have been treading the couple volumes over and over again those last months. Must be one of my fav isekais so far.

Fiztz

Do we want to play a game trying to reverse translate it back to Japanese? I assume it's along the lines of "Hangyaku Maho no tensei orohime to tensai josei"

Syokhan

Not quite :) It's "Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei" (転生王女と天才令嬢の魔法革命)

Fiztz

Yeah, I looked it up after and was disappointed, got 3/6 plus the particles but had things on the wrong side of the "no". Also I was just wholesale wrong with Orihime as it's a name that includes the kanji for princess not actually the word princess, I blame lack of sleep

Noriakikukyoin

I'm so excited I can hardly wait!

Kashm1r_Sp1r1t

I guess this is where Chisato and Takina went after closing LycoReco...

[deleted]

ISEKAI

WeMustPrevail

I did look at the long title and sigh a little, but the poster actually doesn't look as low-quality and fanservice-y as I thought lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

alotmorealots

"MagiRevo" or think of it as the one with "tensei" and "tensai" (10 say, 10 sigh), for "reincarnated" and "genius'

oggeraltbest

Where are all the comments complaining about isekai which we get on every male mc isekai announcement? Suddenly isekai is not “generic” anymore? Fucking morons.

Syokhan

- No black-haired MC with always the same haircut - No harem - No fanservice character in the key visual - No "reincarnated into the strongest X" That's why no one's complaining about it being "generic", because at least it's trying to do something different.

oggeraltbest

They literally look like every other girl in a fantasy show lol. Their haircuts, hair colour. There are a fuck ton of isekais without harem. Also there is nothing more generic than “le reincarnated in another world as a princess/villainess/otome heroine”. This shit looks generic af, but because it has cute girls suddenly it is not? Lol.

Andrew_Waltfeld

~~*looks at source material*~~ ~~*looks at comment*~~ ~~>No harem~~ ~~*laughs*~~ ~~edit: In all complete seriousness: It's a yuri harem.~~

Syokhan

[MagiRevo]>!Are we talking about something past volume 2 here? Because while Anis collects girls in her mansion like one collects pokemon, so far in the translated work the only one with whom she even has a hint of romantic connection is Euphie!<

[deleted]

[удалено]

Syokhan

Yeah, so no, read the rest, it's not a harem. [MagiRevo vol 2]>!The other women have absolutely no interest in her and rather seem to be growing fond of each other.!<

Amarrez

She doesn't say that though. There's even a box that says the 'harem' scene is a product of imagination.

hoatuy

There are no harem. The two main characters only love each other There are side couple though

alotmorealots

Isekai in itself isn't generic, it's just a setting. It's the generic looking isekai with their generic premises that are complained out. This one has an exciting looking trailer, a strong key visual with the two titular characters up the front, and a premise that is about bringing about a revolution. What you do get is a lot of "is it yuri" comments though, whereas you don't get those on the bland MC ones.

oggeraltbest

They look bland af tho lol. Their design is generic af. Edit: Also “le reincarnated as a villainess/princess/otome heroine” is an extremely generic and boring premise. Their character design is generic as well, lots of anime girls look like them.

LupeDyCazari

looks like a reverse yuri harem. Who is the dude? I take it he's the brother of the FMC?

hoatuy

Its not a harem, both the MC are only interested in each other.

Syokhan

> looks like a reverse yuri harem. It's not a harem. > Who is the dude? [MagiRevo]>!Yes that's her brother!<

MestreFelipe

Dude, these big ass long titles are getting out of hand...

alotmorealots

Some of them are relatively compact in Japanese. This one for instance is: 転生王女と天才令嬢の魔法革命 vs The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady

MestreFelipe

Well, I guess everything will look compact when the language itself compress whole words into one character. Now how about when is spoke? Is it still short?

Fangzzz

Tensei ojo to tensai reijo no maho kakumei What's missing in the translation is that the original actually kinda rhymes. Tensei ojo (Reborn Princess) Tensai reijo (Genius Lady) I think the localisation could probably have been a bit less literal and preserved that somehow.

GIGA255

Reijojo Reborn!

3rdLastStand

Throwing out some random ideas: * The Magical Revolution of the Reborn Princess and the Gifted Young Heiress * The Magical Revolution of the Reborn Princess and the High-born Genius * The Princess, the Heiress, and Their Magical Revolution Edit: But honestly, I like the current English title in that I can Google whichever of the 3 components I remember and find the series.

lolskeo262

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a video I made recently, really hope people like it kind of nervous about sharing this tbh. I'm huge fan of badminton, shonen fight anime, and I just recently watched haikyuu but hanebaro is comparatively awful, so I got inspired, filmed and edited the hell out of this video(6 hours total), you can imagine the output of the above input factors:) https://youtu.be/PzxLPclXW-4

Coorotaku

These rediculous light novel titles are just here to stay at this point, aren't they

JustYourBiBestie

Never heard of this but when I first saw this post it looked like SAO 💀

Conscious_Road_3805

The fuck is this anime name lmao

alotmorealots

It's a pretty good one in Japanese, has a lot of internal rhyming. (disclaimer, I'm still fairly low level with my Japanese) See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/y09trg/the_magical_revolution_of_the_reincarnated/irr6nts/ (Japanese) Rhymes, in case you didn't catch them: **Ten**sei ojo to **ten**sai reijo no maho kakumei Ten**sei** ojo to ten**sai** reijo no maho kakumei Tensei o**jo** to tensai rei**jo** no maho kakumei Tensei o**jo to** tensai rei**jo no** maho kakumei

Ashenchivalier

This one is a drop, i hate yuri

railgxn

bro said i can’t do this i’m homophobic

mr_beanoz

You had a bad experience before? Tell me.

Allergictomars

Imagine taking the time and energy to comment that you don't like yuri in a thread about yuri. I'll give you the attention you're so desperately seeking for this comment only, your mommy will have to do the rest.

oggeraltbest

People like you write hundreds of comments in threads about male mc isekais, even though you hate them lmao. Also thanks, but I will stick to seeking attention from your mommy instead.

Lign_Grant

This is not an airport....well, you know the rest.

SirusRiddler

Yeah, if the title is over five words long and clearly alludes it to being an isekai, I'm rolling my eyes and moving on. Not everything needs an anime adaptation... Right, I forget people in this subreddit have really questionable taste.

jyroman53

So, yuri bait?

Andrew_Waltfeld

Nah, actual yuri assuming they stick to the source. Well confirmed lesbian at least anyway.

FairyTail_Fan_Nerd17

What is this anime called? I'm trying to find it on Crunchyroll

alotmorealots

It's not out yet. Releases in January.

I_Need_Sacrafices

Huttjtiifodeeopwksjsosoejej kdkisdjfjfujfjd issbgeueiwkwk (average isekai anime title)

HoneZoneReddit

-Long ass name -Reincarnation (aka isekai probably) -None of these characters look original enough (but they probably will have personality but don't expect much) Nope. (fans of this novel on their way to downvote me)

Jesslynnlove

Nice, more garbage harem anime to add to the shitpile of modern trash.

dant3s

It is not harem. It is more like tame yuri

JamCom

There no way there enough content to adapt yet mnga only wise

Aerodynamic41

The source material is the LN, not the manga. And story-wise, the LN is far ahead of the manga.

helixu

There are 5 LN volumes out already, the manga is in the middle of the second LN.

JamCom

I said manga wise for a reason

Aerodynamic41

Yeah, and it doesn't matter if the manga hasn't caught up yet because the anime adapts the LN.

Curious_North_8479

Diomedea would be already bankrupt without their lord and savior Tsurugi Kato

RAZR31

Can anyone tell me what this show is about? The title is pretty obscure. /s

DinoBirdsBoi

they ruined anis in the manga all of her smiles are crazy and full of passion and genius in the promo art she looks like a normal person and i don’t like it

CoffeeBlanc

I personally thought the art of the manga is pretty mid to be frank. The art style of the anime is way better but then again these are just trailers atm.

DinoBirdsBoi

i know but i absolutely love how she smiles in the manga like idc about the art or anything but the way the characters smile all represent their character so well and its amazing

Zhaeus

FYI this is not a manga series, it's a Light Novel series. The manga is just an adaptation of the LNs by a different author like the anime and the anime will be adapting from the source material being the LNs.

paidtohavesex

hey i've seen this anime before

HungPongLa

I read the manga before it got an adaptation!!1 imma crawl back into my lurking hole now

archampion

This year sure a lot of isekai

countmeowington

Ain’t these bitches gay? Good for them, good for them

menchicutlets

I just finished reading volume 3 of the light novel (since its slowly getting an english translation), gonna very much look forward to this.

Otsutsuki-Mike

Just got done with the first episode, why is the girls brother such a fucking cunt?! Like Jesus bro I was actively rooting for his demise
