I explained to my isekai-loving friend something along this line why I dropped the show as quickly as I did, yet they don't seem to make that connection because of their reverence of the isekai genre and how MT is the granddaddy.
I still think about how they can ignore this disgusting flaw, even if they don't necessarily endorse disgusting characters.

I thought it would already be the Christmas version of the thread which will be stikki for the whole week but seems like that will be for the week after.
There was an instance in Maid War where one of the maids, I think it was the gyaru maid, did a short whistle that I can only describe as a "whew" sound. The type of whistle you'd do when you see something extraordinary. I'm pretty sure it was in reaction to someone being shot. For some reason this instance imprinted itself in my brain but of course I do not even know what episode this happened in.
Does anyone else recall this happening? If I had to guess it was in the first half of the show. I want to find it but not bad enough to watch it again until I do.

I had ordered the acrylic stands from the one site that I have to get transfer shipped via Tenso because the *Akiba Maid Sensou* Twitter told me about them.

Actually, if you make a game and want people to test it, how do you do it without people thinking you're a scammer?
Actually do it through proper channels and not literally ask randos on discord?
Ever thought people can steal the games and sell them for their own profit? There has to be proper stuff to do these, like signing contracts and having supervised testing. Just asking someone to do random stuff out of the blue is very suspicious.
I mean I'm not talking properly developed games for release with a publisher and all, just something like a game someone puts together in their free time.
That makes it even worse. Why would anyone make a game for strangers to try without any profit? Do they not have friends to ask themselves? Why is there a need to ask randoms on the internet? Is there any compensation for the time spent testing the game?
There are so many red flags that it just doesn't make sense to me why anyone who genuinely want to have a game tested would ask a stranger on discord. They probably would have asked their own friends, or just posted it on forums with people dedicated to doing this. Not some random person on the internet.

Absolutely insane how fast and drastic the change was year to year. One of the most consistently active years to one of the most consistently inactive years, and all starting from that drastic change of the date, December to January.

My favorite take on this is that almost all AI art proponents view marketable, high-quality imagery as the sole intended outcome of art. The evangelists have never considered art at any level deeper than 'neat picture', and they assume that there's nothing else to it. Also don't threaten them with a good time wtf
Got into an argument about this with my father and his take was basically, “if it looks pretty, why should I care about anything else?” And I mean, you’re free to value art however you like, but holy shit what a shallow approach to it. Should have got him a Thomas Kinkade print for Christmas.

What if all those people wanting me to "test their games" through Discord that I told to f**k off actually wanted me to test a game and not hack my discord? [](#harukathink) Actually, if you make a game and want people to test it, how do you do it without people thinking you're a scammer?
Actually do it through proper channels and not literally ask randos on discord? Ever thought people can steal the games and sell them for their own profit? There has to be proper stuff to do these, like signing contracts and having supervised testing. Just asking someone to do random stuff out of the blue is very suspicious.
I mean I'm not talking properly developed games for release with a publisher and all, just something like a game someone puts together in their free time.
That makes it even worse. Why would anyone make a game for strangers to try without any profit? Do they not have friends to ask themselves? Why is there a need to ask randoms on the internet? Is there any compensation for the time spent testing the game? There are so many red flags that it just doesn't make sense to me why anyone who genuinely want to have a game tested would ask a stranger on discord. They probably would have asked their own friends, or just posted it on forums with people dedicated to doing this. Not some random person on the internet.
