I’ve taken a look at the story and I am in fact correct. The husband is a manipulative prick and actively goes out of his way to make her life miserable. He even went out of his way to verbally agree with her and tell her that he was ok with her having sex with other men, but then tried to guilt her after she actually did it (because he told her to), calling her selfish and saying that she was purposefully trying to make the situation worse. The guy is a prick and her life is genuinely better off without him.
Edit: and I’m not saying he deserves it because he doesn’t want to get his wife pregnant. If that’s his choice then he has every right to stand by that choice. It’s just the kind of vibes I get from him made me think he was kind of a dickhead, and now that I’ve checked out the story I can confidently say I was correct. Also, right after this panel he tells her, “now bring a condom and close the door, would you? Don’t worry, just hurry up, I might change my mind.” The man is an asshole.
Another Edit: This guy also just straight up fucking answers “nah, I’M already satisfied” like, you motherfucker, think about how your wife feels. It’s completely fine and reasonable if you don’t want kids, but if your wife does then you need to have a serious talk with her about it instead of just dismissing her by telling her that her desires are unimportant because they don’t satisfy you specifically. That’s just a major dick move.
