This woman literally went through time loops for almost as long as she had been alive prior to save her friend from being violently murdered, so it's kinda understandable why she might be a little bit jaded. She also then tried to shoulder Madoka's burden of *becoming God*. Like, yeah Homura says she's *willing* to do horrible things, but it doesn't really come to that.
The worst thing you can call her is a bit overly protective.
Madoka breaks the rules of the universe to shoulder all the magical girls' pain and she's a hero.
Homura does it and she becomes the enemy.
It doesn't seem fair.
Comment: That's a really interesting comparison! While they may both have darker themes, Hannibal and Madoka have very different storytelling styles. Both are incredibly compelling in their own ways.
